Countryside location, 100m from village main street with local pubs, shops and restaurants. 15-20 mins from Newcastle, Bus stop 50m away, Train station 10mins walk. Recently refurbished the Old Stables at The Brow is a spacious stone built 2 bedroom (1 twin, 1 kingsize) flat with sofa bed, travelcot & offstreet parking. Multipurpose set up for those travelling with kids, enjoying the countryside, walks, golf, cycling or visiting the city. We live next door so can help with most arrangements.

The cottage is in a very quiet part of Haydon bridge ,it’s a 10 minute walk from Haydon bridge railway station .15 minute drive to Hexham ,or 3 minutes to Langley castle ,and 40 mins to Newcastle. Hadrians wall and Housesteads fort is 6 miles away .There is a very private outside sitting area over looking the river Tyne as it flows towards Hexham and onto Newcastle .Within 2-5 minutes walk , there is a fish and chip shop and a CO-OP supermarket , 4 local pubs and a fantastic coffee shop .

The Lake House

The detached Lake House is set in 11 acres. Ravensworth is an enchanting village with many of the houses dating from the 17th century. The village is defined by its green, and ancient ruined castle, only a few miles from the pretty towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle . A village pub and two wonderful farm shop cafes within walking distance. The Lake House has uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding woodland. The Lake House can also be booked together with Willow Cottage.
