Located in the heart of Rocca di Mezzo, just a few steps from the Mother Church and the Belvedere, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. A perfect retreat for 3 or 4 people in one of the most picturesque areas of Abruzzo 🌿. You’ll be inside the Sirente-Velino Natural Park, rich in hiking trails and ski resorts (Campo Felice and Ovindoli)

The house among olive trees

A cottage made up of stone and timber built on two storeys, with a large living room, glass window, a couch for two people and a bathroom with sauna; on the second storey there is a double bedroom. Outdoors, there is a large garden with a porch equipped with BBQ and a wooden table. The site is located on the pleasant hills between Bellegra and Olevano Romano. We have currently added two beds, set up in a wonderful Indian teepe available for two extra guests in addition to the four ones.

Despite being a stone's throw from the main street full of life, clubs and pubs, the area remains away from the noise of nightlife. La Pulchella has a private entrance and is located on the ground floor with a delightful private courtyard adjoining. The thickness of the ancient walls offers a pleasant natural freshness that does not make the air conditioner necessary.

You will find us in the historic center of the village of Fontecchio (AQ), just a 5-minute walk from the main square of the village. Fontecchio is a medieval village, located in the heart of the Sirente Velino Park. This typical complex of ancient buildings is located in the southern corner of the town walls, with spectacular views of the green and quiet valley of the Aterno River.

Immersed in the nature of the Simbruini Mountains, you can rediscover an ancient and natural environment inspired by the early 1900s. You will not find the comforts of a hotel room, but the unique experience of spending a weekend rediscovering the ancient customs of peasant culture.
