The Owl's Nest will be your next home away from home! Tucked away at the end of a dead-end gravel road, you'll find our perfectly secluded A-frame with all the amenities you'll need for a little R&R. Enjoy an evening with friends/family by the fire pit, or a daytime adventure down to the lake by way of walking trail and take the kayaks out on the water. So glad Grumpy's is finally finished, it's been a fun 4-year complete remodel project, working weekends and constantly looking for pieces to make it Unique. Grumpy's Getaway is located directly across the road from Rock Island State Park, It has 2 bedrooms, a walk in shower, a wraparound Porch with a Hot Tub perfect for relaxing. Also, have a 50 amp RV plug at the corner of the Cabin for EV Car charging if needed, We Do Not offer a clean out station. Firewood and Kindling are provided.

Experience the fun of living among trees in our treehouse mini-lodge feel check out 2 other cabins Patriot's Retreat & Sunrise Mtn Cabin. Our tree house is extremely comfortable, with a view of the Cumberland mountains. Complete with a full kitchen, bathroom, two-loft sleeping and viewing areas. Several major state parks/hiking within a few miles of the cabin. Exceptional star viewing. The cabin has fiber optic WiFi which is not shared. Pet cats are not allowed as we are allergic.
