Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rødovre

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

It was a really nice experience to be at Joel's cottage. We especially benefited from the wilderness bath and the spacious surroundings. The cottage is really cozy decor and there are many small details about the house, which made the experience really cozy island.

Lovely place, nice and quiet, perfect garden so big, great places to sit next to the fire, great sauna. We felt so relaxed!

I should stress that there was nothing wrong with the neighbourhood - just not as near to the centre as I would have liked, but a more central place was not available. Identifying the access door wasn't obvious, but it was because the explanatory photos on the profile page needed to be scrolled to the end! More an issue with the site presentation, than the host. Overall, a lovely place to stay - thoroughly recommended!!

Lovely furnished cottage with all necessary equipment. Lovely outdoor shower - even in winter. Close to shopping and beach. Henrik is a friendly host and easy to communicate with.

We had a great few days in Malou’s house. The location is perfect for a quiet holiday with family, close to local amenities, shops and restaurants. Malou really went the extra mile to ensure we are fully informed of what to do and where to go in the area, as well as ensured we felt right at home by making everything in the house they also use available to us. Thank you Malou, we will definitely stay in your house again when we return to Hornbaek.

Lovely cottage in a great location. The 4 sleeping places on the “1st floor” are under a roof and not at standing height, but if you do not have claustrophobia, it is really cozy. Lovely large terrace with water view between the trees. We had a wonderful weekend there. Close to both water and forest.

We spent 4 nights in Pernille’s apartment and it was just an excellent stay on every level. Pernille and Martin are wonderful hosts and nothing was any trouble for them during the stay. The apartment is beautiful and light with a lovely backyard to relax in, and is about a 15 minute bicycle ride from the centre of the city. It’s in a really peaceful area of Copenhagen, parking was easy and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in short walking distance. I highly recommend you check this out if you’re coming to Copenhagen!

We stayed as a family for a two night road-trip stopover in Copenhagen. This location was great for us. Parking was easy and free and very close to the city center. Kristine’s place was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. 👍

The apartment was lovely, close to all major amenities, within a safe and quiet area and was very well-taken care of, with a spotless kitchen and bathroom. Ghita as a host was very responsive to our messages and was an all-round incredible host to us. Made our short stay in Copenhagen absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay with Pernille and Kim! It's in a great location and very clean, quiet and cozy. It's near the metro, so it is easy to get to all the attractions in Copenhagen. It's also a short walk to the beach.

Whether biking to museums or exploring cafes, everything was convenient. Engelina and Mads were extraordinary hosts—warm, generous, and thoughtful. The apartment was spotless, stylish, and cozy, with carefully curated decor that made it hard to leave. The magical backyard was a bonus. Every detail reflected their care and hospitality. This was one of our most memorable stays, and we feel lucky to have experienced it. If you have the chance to stay here, don’t hesitate—it’s the perfect home base for a Copenhagen adventure. Eva's cabin was a perfect, peaceful weekend away for us. The cabin was very cozy, very clean and an easy walk away from the beach, the forest and the little town. Eva was super friendly and a lovely host.

This is the second time I have rented from Pernille, and the house is just in elk perfect walking distance to the most beautiful sandy beach, beautiful forest, nature playground, ice house, etc. At the same time, the house has everything you need and the garden is so big that you don't have to go outside the land register at all. Driving distance to Hundested, Gilleleje, Troldeskoven, etc. My favorite place to go on holiday with a dog, due to the large fenced garden and short walking distance to the most delicious Dog Forest. Pernille is an impeccable host who is always helpful in answering various questions, etc.

We stayed at Mortens place for five days and we felt at home from day one. For those looking for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle - this area is highly recommended. This house is suitable for people preferring a cozy stay indoor as well as for people who love outdoor activities suck as walking, bird watching etc. My kids particularly enjoyed the zip line and trampoline set outside the house. Morten was very easy to communicate with which made the whole process so easy. Further Orø is a small and beautiful island with some very nice and social people with a great community spirit. In Sven's beautiful summer house, we were able to immerse ourselves in Danish life and felt very comfortable. The house has lots of charm and tells of wonderful memories. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. It is only a few meters to the beach that we had to ourselves all the time. Sven is warm & very helpful. Worth a recommendation!
