“Øveregga mountain farm is a fantastic place! We were in a 10 class school class that was there for 2 nights. Fantastic place to be and the host was very nice and welcoming. Recommended especially for larger groups who love nature. Nothing to fault, we'll be back soon !!”

“I stayed at a guest house at a previous farm. The place is also a pilgrims rest for the people walking on Olavsvegen. The old house is renovated pretty nicely and kept its old charm. The place was clean and had all the necessary tools for preparing a meal. I liked Joar’s hospitality, and he also showed me the local museum of an old grocery store and the local church, which is one of the few remaining Y-shaped churches in Norway. If you’re an American, looking for your family’s roots in this area, Joar might be the right person to talk to... All in all, I totally can recommend this place.”
At The Rønning Farm we have a guesthouse available for rent. With the guesthouse as a base, there are many opportunities. In the mountains here and in Forollhogna Nationalpark you are in the reindeer kingdom and with living courtyards. Great nature and beatyful agricultur in the area. The house have beds to 8 people with everything you need. Bring your sleeping bag or come to ready-made beds! A hour to Trondheim, Oppdal and Røros.
“We spent Christmas at Wenche’s farm and we loved it very much. Her place was warm and we cooked a great Norwegian Christmas dinner with her very well equipped kitchen. Wenche was kind enough to decorate the home with traditional Norwegian decorations. A Nisse also made a visit on Christmas Eve! My three daughters enjoyed sledding outside on the hillside and were greeted by the horses, dogs, cows and sheep daily. We were close enough to visit Rorøs and Trondheim on day trips. The crisp nights allowed for some great star gazing. We would highly recommend Wenche’s farm.”
