Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

5 minutes from Åndalsnes train/bus station, the whole house

The guest house is very centrally located near the start of Romsdalseggen/Rampestreken, and a 5-minute walk from the train/bus station and the Romsdal gondola. Kitchenette with fridge-freezer, two hotplates. Not an oven. Microwave. Kettle/toaster. The kitchen is best suited for simple cooking due to its size. The bathroom is small, but has a toilet, sink and shower. The guest house is a small, old farmhouse of a simple standard, with relatively small rooms and low doors. Adequate ceiling height. The house is only used by our Airbnb guests.

Lingås farm is located with a perfect starting point close to several popular tourist destinations and hiking destinations, between Trollstigen and Geirangerfjorden. Magnificent views and nature experiences in the whole area. Mountain peaks, cozy mountain pastures, fjords and swimming areas are only a walking distance away. If you like to go on top tours on skis, we have ski in, ski out in the winter. We have the great Berdalsnibba right behind us.

Quiet surroundings and fantastic views of famous mountains such as Romsdalshorn, Trolltindene and Kirketaket. Beds made with bed linen. Two beds in one bedroom and bunk beds in the other. Baby cot available. Towels provided. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Dining table, sofa and work desk. The host is a local in the mountains and can offer trip tips/guiding.
