Welcome to our Tranquil A-Frame Cottage! Relax, refocus and rejuvenate at this newly refurbished chalet perched on a secluded hill surrounded by evergreens. The perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle/bustle and technology. Modern amenities include gas fireplace, A/C, washer/dryer, TV, Record Player, DVD Player. Connect with nature, snuggle up by the fireplace, read a book, play a board game or listen to some vinyl and unwind. There is NO INTERNET but there is spotty LTE/cell service.

Take the canoe or paddle boat out to explore the lake’s many islands. Enjoy fishing, swimming, and spending lazy afternoons on the dock. Autumn and winter are especially beautiful at this lake. Experience the vibrant changing fall colours and warm up at our indoor or outdoor fire. Your peaceful cottage getaway awaits at Jordan Lake.

The Escape Pod|No Neighbours|Pet Friendly|Drive to

This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is ideal for couples or solo travellers. Sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock.

This newly renovated 100 year old water front cottage is located on the mighty Madawaska River. This cottage is ideal for those wishing to escape the hectic pace of city life. The perfect space for families, couples or a single person. Embrace the tranquility of the stunning Madawaska. There is a water access and a dock across the road.Perfect for boating, kayaking, canoeing, SUP, swimming or fishing. There is a boat launch less than a mile away.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.

The Bunkie

Come spend time in a cozy solar powered cabin on our homestead located on the edge of 50 acres of forest. When you aren't cozied up by the wood stove, there are many trails to explore throughout the forest. Guests are also welcome to use the sauna, explore the gardens and meet the chickens. The Bunkie is located 25 minutes from Bon Echo and 15 minutes from Lower Madawaska.
