Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rotterdam Centrum

I stayed for the summer and wintertime at the Bonk . The place is really nice, warm, and cozy. Outside is beautiful, with lovely surroundings that makes it a perfect getaway. It’s conveniently close to shops, making it easy to pick up anything you need or simply enjoy a bit of shopping. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a relaxing vacation. Did I forget to mention that the host is superb !!!

This is an outstandingly beautiful, authentic Dutch home, flooded with light, gorgeous outdoor terrace, balconies everywhere, smack in the center of the best neighborhood in The Hague. It was a perfect stay. If I could live here I would :)

We really enjoyed this beautiful house on 3 floors by the canal in a quiet area. It is ideally located to discover Schiedam and 20 minutes from the train station. Communication with Esther is perfect. She warned us of the steep stairs and provided a crib, we were also able to adjust the number of people (1 couple and 1 baby in addition to the 3 expected adults). If you are sensitive to light in the bedrooms, bring a mask. We have great memories of this stay.

What a lovely beautiful classic Hague home. We spent 2 nights here with great pleasure. Cozy by the fireplace next to the Christmas tree. Playing games at the large table. Fine beds in well darkened bedrooms. Beautiful centrally located with bus stop in front of the door for excursions in The Hague and surroundings. Sofie responds quickly and kindly. Definitely recommended.

Meineke’s place is in a great location, just an 8 minute walk to grocery stores, historical center of Gouda and the train station. The house is comfortable and very clean. It is very well-appointed with every kitchen tool you can imagine. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing that I think bears mentioning is that if you are sleeping on the top floor, you have to go down a flight of 13 steps to use the bathroom in the night. I’m 72 and need to do that once or twice every night and handled it well. There is a hand-rail and a night light. But, just something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Marianne manages the property and lives right next door. She greeted us upon arrival and was very responsive to all questions.

Wonderful place , everything as described , high standard super helpful owner and always in full contact . The house is equipped with a great fireplace and a cool garden , it is homely and spaciously can relax and maintain privacy in every way . I highly recommend not many places like this..

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. The outside area was a lovely place to sit in the evening sun and the Sauna was very relaxing. The facilities (pool, kids playground, the beach and the restaurant) were fantastic. The location is wonderful and feels close to nature with a beach very close by. It's very easy to drive to local attractions or you can take the number 24 bus into town from the main road (30 mins walk) and take the train or tram anywhere. This is a great location to relax in nature and to enjoy local bike trails and walks. Karin is a wonderful and attentive host. We highly recommend this accommodation.

We loved Bart’s beautiful home. It made our holiday relaxing. We were very lucky with weather so could eat in garden and catch some evening rays in the seating area and little trips to the shops on a bike was a pleasure. Excellent space for families! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We had a fantastic 5 days in Den Haag staying at Anne's beautiful home. The pictures do not do the place justice and the top room in particular was a joy to sit/cook/eat in. Anne was extremely helpful throughout the stay and the use of bikes was very helpful. All amenities needed within a short walk, highly recommend Anne's home for a stay.

We felt right at home in Michèle's apartment. It is super nicely decorated and is centrally located yet quiet. The park can be reached in a few minutes and you can walk to the beach in 15 minutes. The balcony is really great for enjoying a coffee outside or cozy food and watching the action on the street. It runs a little through the windows, but you can heat well. It was truly an unforgettable stay in The Hague. Thank you!

Thanks Cathy and John for your hospitality. Particularly thanks John for picking us up even though we were late due to train delays. Your place was really nice, modern and neat. Fascinated by the app controlled lighting and other devices you had set up. Loved your humour and spirit behind your overcoming of the things that would normally be challenges for other people. My daughter remarked that she had never seen that many inspirational quotes. Very nice.

Very cool bright apartment, lots of wood, the living room was a dream to be in. We felt very comfortable. Location top; beach and shops very quickly accessible. We also booked the parking space and were therefore allowed to park close to the apartment. You didn't have to search long to find a parking spot.

Large and tastefully decorated apartment and a great balcony. Thanks to Daphne who was very responsive and helpful. The only downside was that there was no WiFi but the rest was great.

I stayed with Marina for an extended weekend with my daughter and her boyfriend. I can recommend the place without hesitation and definitely. Not only because of the beautiful location, proximity to the beach and the great accommodation itself (which was very high quality, well maintained and absolutely clean), but much more because of the hostess. Marina was present from the beginning with a lot of attention, kindness & sensitivity. With useful tips and reliable agreements, it was a safe and uncomplicated backing for us. As my predecessors wrote, I also have to mention the breakfast included - it was terrific. Marina gifted us with everything your heart desires: homemade bread and pancakes, omelette, freshly cut fruits & vegetables and bread deposits of all kinds as far as the eye could reach. That was a great start to the day. We will be happy to come back! Thank you very much, Marina!

We had a wonderful week staying at Anneke’s beautiful home! Anneke was a great host, she was there at check in to walk us through the house and was quick to reply to any questions we had during our stay. Anneke’s home is walking distance from station Voorschoten, which makes it very easy to get around the Netherlands without a car. It is also located within easy access of the A4 and A44 motorways. The house itself is very spacious, with a big kitchen, dining and living room with comfortable sofa & chairs downstairs, as well as a restroom. Upstairs are 5 bedrooms and 3 (!) bathrooms, ideal if you are with two families or a group of friends. But the best feature of the house - since the weather was sunny & warm during our stay - is the garden with a lovely deck right on the water. A lovely spot for a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at sunset (: Lastly, we very much enjoyed taking care of the two permanent house guests, beautiful Russian blue cats named Max & Nina. Thank you Anneke for a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very pretty, quiet and cozy. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure were excellent. A few small details would have made a difference—more outlets for charging phones, having soap and other items in the bathrooms, a way to control mosquitoes, and easier access to the master bathroom. We liked the kitchen very much, the supplies left for the dishwasher, laundry and for cooking were very helpful. the living room and outside areas were wonderful for a group of friends. There was a beautiful flower bed of dahlias and other vegetation. Our thanks to Maria for being such a responsive and friendly host. We would return if the opportunity arises. 💜

Staying in this house is like staying in your own home .. The house is located in a wonderful and quiet area and the neighbors are very friendly … Everything is close to you … The reception of the owner of the house was wonderful … I liked everything in the house and in the area and I highly recommend staying in this wonderful place … Honestly I liked everything, and I will re-live in it if I return to the Netherlands... All thanks and appreciation to the owners of the house for giving us this wonderful experience in this most wonderful country... All respect and appreciation to you.

hermiëtte is realy a nice host, she's so helpfull. she have a really nice house too, it was so clean and neat. and it has all the facility u can have in as a family house. it is close to the park, and the park have a nice playground. its not too far from the station, its around 15min with bicycle, she even lend us their bicycles. it have a heater, so we don't freeze at winter weather, she also put so many winter coat, shawl, gloves, beanies, and warm blanket that we can use. it also have many toys n activity for children. my kids definitely love the big trampoline outside. such a lovely place to stay with family n kids. we love it. thank you Hermiëtte and Al, we really have a nice stay at this house. definitely will stay here again if we go to denhaag.

Wonderful home - spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We were able to easily explore the beach, the city and the surrounding areas. Rogier was gracious and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend.

We spent four days in the Caroline’s wonderful house as a family of four. Pijnacker is a nice small town ideally located for visits to The Hague, Rotterdam, Delft, and so on. The house is just two minutes walk from the train station connecting to The Hague and Rotterdam. In fact, going to The Hague and Rotterdam by train may be more convenient than taking a car. The house is beautifully furnished, exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including all kinds of high-end appliances. Caroline was a graceful and very responsive host. She provided clear and full instructions. Everything worked perfectly. We very much enjoyed our stay in Caroline’s house and we can wholeheartedly recommend it. The atmosphere and character of the house are comfortable and unique and will be difficult to find elsewhere. We look forward to returning if and when we are in the region again.

It was a really nice house in a great park where you got everything you need. We also loved the beach, as you needed 10 minutes to walk slowly. The Hague with its sights is worth a trip anyway, so we will be very happy to come back here if it suits. Thank you very much.
