Plaani Karjamõis is the former dairy that belonged to Haanja manor. These historic buildings date back to the first half of 19th century and are currently undergoing renovation. The building complex is surrounded by lakes and forests. You will be staying in the spacious attic room, with a lovely view overlooking the premises from the terrace. Popular nearby attractions include Suur Munamägi (the highest peak in Estonia) in Haanja and the Ööbiku viewing tower in Rõuge. There are also good fishing spots nearby. If you wish, you can also rent a Finnish sauna or a traditional smoke sauna, located 500 metres away next to the hosts’ house.
