Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rowan County

The Mail House was a perfect couples getaway spot for us. Stephanie and Ben provided clear instructions for getting there and check-in, as well as a wonderful list of places to visit in the area. This was our first visit to the area, and it was a very central location to what we wanted to do. The Mail House is so quaint and had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying at The Mail House!

I can’t express enough what a wonderful host Rebecca was. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Her kindness was very appreciated by my family. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities you could want. It was a quiet area and easy to get to. I highly recommend this home or any home Rebecca has.

A very peaceful place with a beautiful view. David was very responsive, quick to attend any questions and issues we had while we were there. He provided recommendations and went above and beyond helping me on my search for an uncommon tres leches cake. We felt right at home and had everything we needed!

Beautiful home in a tucked away location! Perfect stay for our group! The heated pool was by far the best part in addition to a great patio for cooking out and a bonfire. House was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were responsive and kind!

Review for The Muir Valley Overlook House, Campton, KY I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Muir Valley Overlook house, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! Nestled in a beautifully serene setting, this spacious and impeccably clean house provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the fabulous hot tub, which was nothing short of a blissful retreat after a day of hiking adventures in the breathtaking surroundings. There’s something incredibly relaxing about soaking in a hot tub under the stars, and this one did not disappoint. The expansive living space was perfect for unwinding and enjoying some downtime. An unexpected bonus was the selection of video games, which added an extra layer of fun to our evenings. Whether you’re traveling with family or friends, this house is equipped to keep everyone entertained. Thank you Breck and Linda! 🙂

Margo’s place was everything we needed for our trip to RRG! The yard was fantastic with the hot tub and fire pit with chairs. The inside was clean and had everything we needed. I forgot my white noise machine but there was one in each bedroom on the nightstand which was a huge life saver. Definitely recommend.

The house was very clean, cutely decorated and perfect size for our family. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

This place was great: the price, fun style and decor, super easy check-out, and a communicative host. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and plenty of room to run around outside too. It is very close to Koomer Ridge campground which was helpful for us and our planned hikes. Nice porches too. The listing mentions being close to the highway and had several sound machines available in rooms--but it was quiet for us. We didn't notice traffic sounds at all during our stay. They also suggested a BBQ place we never tried, Redpoint. It was awesome takeout. Cute place and great host.

The Lady Slipper apartment was the perfect base for all of my hiking adventures in the Red River Gorge...located right in the middle of it all. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay for myself and my dog.

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

It was as described, Had an issue on Sunday. Jessie & Scott were quick to respond, it was nothing they did or could have prevented. But moved swiftly to rectify . I’d stay there again. And recommend to others. 5 star service and much quicker than the Holiday Inn.

The perfect private getaway. About 30 minutes away to lots of hiking trails in red river and a quick drive to the store. Suzanne was super helpful and responsive. Gave us many things to do/see!

Place was exactly as described. Would stay again. Host was super responsive to any questions. Not far from the lake. Shower and bath house were perfectly clean and hot water. One of the best bath houses we used. Perfect little weekend stay for a couple or fishing buddies. We were at the lake within 3 minutes. Will stay again. Had enough room for our 18 foot boat and hook up to charge.

Even though I ended up traveling through the aftermath of a hurricane, I was able to make it and there was power! The cabin was cozy and grateful for this since I was pretty much stuck in it for the whole time due to the pouring rain. I did manage to make it to the awesome little waterfall that within walking distance of the cabin which was definitely the highlight of the trip. Bed was comfy:)

Great little stay put in morehead kentucky with lots of nice local hiking trails and parks to visit. The Cabin was a perfect cozy get away for the week with everything completely accommodated for. Will definitely be looking to stay again if we get the chance.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Robert's cabin. It was very charming and peaceful. Robert did an excellent job with communicating and making our stay extra special.

Kitty & Meredith made accommodations for my kiddos and I last minute when our hotel reservations fell through. Our stay was fantastic and the outdoor playground and patio were awesome for the kiddos!

We absolutely loved our stay. 15 minutes to campus and very close to the lake. The cabin had everything we needed and more! We WILL be back!

Quick trip to visit our daughter at Morehead State. This was perfect location and space to allow her to be able to hang out with us outside her dorm room. Will definitely book again!
