Surrounded by cherry orchards, Carroll House is an 860 sqft, two bedroom, one bath guesthouse, located in the Mosier hills. The house can comfortably host 6 people(1 queen, 2 twin, 1 full size air mattress). Open concept living space with dine-in kitchen. This space was designed for slow, cozy living. I hope you enjoy every part of your visit, from making local coffee, watching the sun set, stargazing, and making popcorn while you catch up on your favorite show.
“Where to begin? From the postcard-perfect views, to the tranquility, to the cute style of the cottage, everything exceeded our expectations. Being a guest on Robyn's idyllic little farm was just the reprieve from the city our family was hoping for. Bring a good book, a camera for the stunning sunsets, and prepare to feel relaxed.”
This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. Hood from the yard and lovely territorial views. At night, you can enjoy the beauty of a Milky Way sky far from city light pollution. Come. Enjoy. Relax. NOTE: I sometimes make exceptions to "No Pets" with conditions. Please ask before booking. No smoking in the house. More important details the "The space" section.
“This space was exactly what I needed. A large area with full kitchen in the country. Katie, the host was always available if needed, answered any of my questions quickly and made sure I had everything I needed. She had a snack waiting for me upon my arrival. She even baked me a rhubarb pie near the end of my stay. This was a quiet, comfortable, clean space that I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to get away. The only difficulty for me was that all the hiking trails were closed due to Covid 19. Washington State will open that up again in the future. The hiking in the area is spectacular! I was sorry to not be able to enjoy them.”
Very peaceful and private. The apartment is close to many outdoor activities (biking, hiking, windsurfing, fishing, kayaking and wine tasting). For wind and kite surfers: walk to the sand bar, 5 minute drive to Doug's beach, 15 minute drive to the Hatch, 30 minute drive to The Wall and one hour drive to Roosevelt. For bikers and hikers: direct access to the Klickitat trail, 5 minute drive to the Syncline and many other trails. For wine lovers: multiple vineyards.
“No complaints!! I work Nationwide and stay at AirB&B’s three or more months at a time. Carole is newer to the AirB&B thing but definitely does a great job on being a host. I give 10/10!”
