“Wow! We only stayed one night, but if we had the chance we would have spent our whole holiday here. First, Eddie gave us first rate hospitality. He met us at check in and showed us around the beautiful cottage. The cottage itself is like walking back in time, though having all the modern amenities one craves. It’s very close to outstanding beaches, and ancient ruins not overrun by crowds seen elsewhere. Definitely would stay there again and recommend to anyone!”

“Irish hospitality at its best! Margaret and William’s place was just perfect. We were in town for a family wedding; and the cottage was so homey, with thoughtful touches such as milk, bread and eggs and cheese left for our use. The cottage is definitely off the beaten track but is also less than 10 minutes from Ballyliffin. If we ever find ourselves in Donegal again, we would definitely stay at Bonner’s cottage again! We did not get a chance to meet Margaret but we did meet William who was so kind and helpful and made sure to let us know they were right next door should we need anything.”
Self contained bedroom, bathroom and tea and coffee facilities available in converted garage, completely separate from adjoining house. Accommodation is located midway between the villages of Ballyliffen and Clonmany, approximately a 12 minute walk to each village. 25 minute walk to Pollan Bay (3 minute drive) and 6 minute drive to Tullagh Bay. 5 minute drive to Ballyliffen Golf Club.
“We received a lovely welcome from Colm and Margaret on our arrival. Margaret was kind enough to drive us to Ballyliffin to a wedding we were attending....thank you Margaret!! The accommodation is within easy walking distance to both Ballyliffin and Clonmany. I would recommend a visit to Glenevin Waterfalls in Clonmany and their local chippy for fish and chips. We had breakfast in the Applegreen Filling Station within a 5 minute walk...food good and staff friendly. The accommodation was exactly as shown in photos...very clean and comfortable. I slept better than I have in years as so quiet and peaceful at night. There is also a fridge, toaster , kettle and microwave if you want to make some food. We enjoyed our two night stay and would not hesitate recommending to others...basic accommodation...friendly, kind hosts..good location and great value for money”
