The so-called Kossätenhof is the only listed private building in Rühstädt with a residential building, former stables and a barn. On the barn, 2 pairs of storks with 3 young storks are currently nesting (June 2025)! Places with historic city centers such as Perleberg are easily accessible.

Our three one-room apartments — Ahorn, Linde, and Birke — combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with contemporary design. Each apartment is completely unique and has been modernized by us. They offer space for two to three people each. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen”, an cultural project in the town of Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill and transforming it into a future-oriented place for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and relaxation.

There is an outdoor separate toilet and an outdoor shower within walking distance. There is a gas stove and the possibility to cook, but no running water. This must be fetched in a faucet that can be reached on foot.
