Holiday rentals in Rum Cay

The stay was very spacious and accommodating. Jill was very responsive and communicated very well. We will book our stay with her again.

This was our second stay at Grotto Bay Beach house and it was still great. The location is stunning, with an excellent cove and snorkeling just down from the house. Recommend a rental car to drive to town and around the island, though roads around the house are quite rough. Karen is kind and gives local recommendations and information and Nicola, the local housekeeper, met us at the house to let us in and show us around. She is an excellent source of information and so friendly. The house is beachy and casual, with linens and basic kitchen and bath supplies, as well as some snorkeling equipment. Great wifi, but local phone service did not work (though a local Bahamas SIM card worked great on cell phones) and did not try to use the TV. The AC worked off and on, though the weather meant we didn't need it, though we did keep the door and windows closed to keep out the no-see-ums (tiny biting flies) at night. A great value and highly recommend for the excellent location!

The views from this house are simply breath taking in every direction and from almost from every room in the house. just when we thought the ocean views of the island could not get any better, we ventured up to the very top deck level and WOW WOW WOW! Beyond the views, this house is beautifully pearched on a hill, is solidly constructed and offers an inviting, well appointed, furnished and relaxing atmosphere. My family and I enjoyed it immenesly and would 100% stay here again. The host/hostess were very easy to coordinate with and were readily available to help or provide valuable information when needed. The Communication was super easy and welcoming. This House truly is a pearl at the caribbean ocean. First this house is definetly filled with love. It became a home for us. We are humble and glad to be able to visit many countries, continents and beaches. This leads to secondly. This Beach within two minutes walking distance is world class and breathtaking. Words cant describe how beautiful it is. Thirdly: Jerry the cat enlarged our homely feeling. What a beautiful personality. You can do groceries nearby. Kenny from Eagles nestings serves awesome waffles for breakfast and/ or takes you snorkeling. A rental car is a must have on Long Island. The Island Itself is very laid back and local and yes people make the difference. Everybody, sincerly everybody we met was nice, friendly and welcoming. We look forward coming back to this beautiful Island and enjoying this Air BnB which for us has a die class of its own. Thank you very much.

Raymond and Michael host a dynamite & efficient spot for someone who wants to engage kitesurfing at the Turquoise jewel called Snow Bay. The apartment was perfect for resting, making a meal, cleaning up, WiFi and/or Netflix chilling after a day on the lagoon. Easy access to gorgeous beaches and snorkeling on low wind days. I appreciated that they offered a car rental which a guest needs to get to the kitespot (~30 minute drive), making grocery run. (~10 minute drive). I’ll be back again for sure!

I can’t recommend this house enough! It was comfortable, a great location, awesome hosts, and a wonderful island. From the moment we booked to the time we left, the hosts were communicative helpful and friendly. We rented their van and were met the airport straight away, super easy. The house is very comfortable, and we really enjoyed spending time on the back deck watching the waves. Wally and Alex are such great people and we had an awesome time. Highly recommend!

Two Turtles gets an A+ from us. Since 2017, we go to the outer islands in the Bahamas for a month each year and this is one of our top rated rental homes. What you see is what you get - there is no staging. The large deck provides awesome views. We loved the outside shower! Towels/Bedding is great. Stella Maris is a great walking community. We walk every morning and only a 15 minute walk to the moonshine bar. Karin, the property manager is the best!! For a small fee she’ll pick up groceries/alcohol to get you started. I suggest going to see the Columbus Monument, lunch at Cape Santa Maria. There are 3 love beaches to the south of Stella Maris…the second beach has a shipwreck. Chez Pierre is a must for a nice dinner. Salt pond. ..Tinys and Vantage Point for lunch and east of the Esso station, beautiful cliffy beaches. Gordon’s Beach… if you like to shell go where the high tide has left grassy areas behind - the most beautiful shells will be there. A great rental, Nils‼️

Our stay at this home and Stella Maris exceeded all expectations! The accommodations were even better than imagined, and the staff were incredibly friendly and beyond helpful. If you can make the journey, this is a place you won't want to miss out on. It's certain to recharge your batteries and leave you and your family with lasting memories. Our boys will never forget their days and nights in our private pool and your lovely property -- and the evening walks to Moonshine for a strawberry daquiri and to explore the natural tide and all of its creatures.
