The Hayloft is situated in the grounds of the stunning Rushbury Manor an Elizabethan house in the heart of the South Shropshire Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Hayloft is an oak framed barn beautifully furnished and has views across Ape Dale towards the Long Mynd.
“We stayed at the Hayloft for three nights (18 -20 Oct 2019). We found the place easily on the edge of the village and our host, Simon, met us to show us around this self contained converted barn. The accommodation is stylish, warm, cosy and inviting and had all the amenities we could want for our short break. It was a pleasure to come back to each evening after our adventures around this delightful part of the Country. Plenty to see and do. Highly recommended stay.”
Beautiful cottage in an idyllic location with incredible views over the Shropshire Hills. Secluded position up a private lane with parking. Good central base for the local festivals or just walking in the Hills. Situated on the Shropshire Way (Jack Mytton Way) atop Wenlock Edge in an AONB not far from Church Stretton, Ludlow, Much Wenlock & Shrewsbury, it's an ideal base for exploring this beautiful county. Surrounded by SSSI fields full of wild orchids and other rare plants and flowers.
“Peter's cottage is in a quiet and beautiful spot outside of Church Stretton. There are plenty of places to go walking and also lots of small villages to visit. Peter was welcoming and always friendly and even offered me lifts into town as i wasn't driving. The room was cosy and comfortable and you could help yourself to breakfast every morning. It's a great place for some quiet contemplation with beautiful views.”
