Our monumental house with accompanying guesthouse is located in the center of Emmeloord. Partly due to its central location, our guesthouse "Maison de l'epée" is ideal for business travelers, among others. In the detached barn, with its own entrance, behind our house we have made a luxurious 2 person guesthouse. This is equipped with all comforts. Within walking distance of Theater 't Voorhuys, cinema, restaurants, shops and the characteristic Poldertoren you will stay overnight.

Spend the night in a historic building surrounded by cozy restaurants and shops on the old Lemster harbor. In the ridge of the beautiful "Andringa State" you will find a modern studio and 2 spacious bedrooms with all mod cons. Through the windows at the front you look out over the harbor and at the back you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer on the spacious roof terrace.

Gerda is a wonderful and caring host. The apartment is perfectly located. Whether for shopping or to the beach, you literally just have to fall out of the door and you're there. However, the steep staircase to the apartment is actually not for everyone and should be kept in mind if you are not very mobile or have small children.”
Cosy and relaxed, enjoying the piece and quite surroundings at your own private terras and enjoy our clourful garden with flowers and an amazing vieuw! Near the Nationaal Park de Weerribben, Giethoorn and the famous Dutch tulipfields. Our little house has been designed in an old Dutch style with a spacious 1-persbedclosed , which we call : bedstee and a second separate bed and private separate douche-toilethaus/ bathroom, thee-en coffiemaker, small refrigerator, tv, wifi.
What guests are saying:“In this great B & B everything is exactly as the photos promise! The house is very well thought out with a lot of love and super nice details. Everything is very clean. Although it was very cold on our first night (about 0 degrees) we had it warm and comfortable. The breakfast is indeed very rich (rolls, croissants, egg, orange juice, coffee, tea, cold meats, jam, crumble, butter, yogurt, fruit, crunch). There are great excursion tips and TV with German channels. The beds are very comfortable, but you can not create a continuous mattress. There are enough towels, but only relatively small ones. The only thing we did not expect was that the house is only about 6m away from the main house. We had imagined this differently (which is not a problem). All in all a perfect B & B !!!”
