  • Having spent many, many vacations in Airbnb’s, we can honestly say this was by far the best place we have visited. Jane and John were the most sincere and hospitable people we have met. The home is unbelievably comfy, with a wood stove in the living room and heated mattress pads on every bed. The grounds are so beautiful and we had a great time petting the donkey and laughing at all the birds. We honestly wished we had booked a longer stay here.

  • Expect a warm welcome in tranquil surroundings and to feel relaxed and at peace with nature. A bonus little surprise g&t or fine quality whiskey to warm the cockles of your heart in front of a cosy fire. Amazing place, my husband and I just loved it. Tricia and David

  • Jane and her husband are lovely people, they are warm and welcoming. This is one of those truly authentic Airbnb experiences. The house is cozy and filled with curiosities and you can breath and connect with nature; the whole place has a magical vibe. Thank you Jane, you have a VERY special house. We had a great trip!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • This quaint estate has a few hundred years of history. From what I can tell, all in one family. Situated on a hill in the countryside, hidden behind old, lush trees, this home is also a farm and an orchard. The inside of the home is well appointed, clean, home-like. This is a home, not a hotel. There is a fully-functional kitchen, clean bathrooms. Each room is clean and though not large, is certainly more than enough. Some of the windows face the orchard where you can see not only the rows of apple trees but also in the distance the rolling hills of this countryside. We were driving in late one night, after a full day on the road which included a drive all the way from Galway/Achill Island on the other side of the island. The host left for us some fresh eggs in the kitchen (of course this estate has its own chickens) along with bread, butter and milk. All fresh. For dinner, using the gas grill which stands next to the home, we grilled some meat, and to spice up the salad, I literally snapped some leaves of rosemary, thyme, dill and cilantro which grow in pots situated in the inner yard of this home. It felt good to eat fresh. In the morning we walked around the orchard, looked at the endless bushes of you-name-it. From squash, to raspberry, to apples, to all kinds of herbs and different fruits, vegetables – this farm has it all. In an enclosed pasture, we petted a donkey and pony pair. These wonderful animals are bonded. They like being petted and are as friendly as dogs. We spent some time speaking to Jane and her husband. I always find it charming to see happy couples who enjoy what they do. This couple are farmers and I can tell that they work very hard in not only up-keeping this estate in prime shape but also work hard in growing all that we saw on the farm. Given the beauty of this estate and its farm, I think this home is underrated. I highly recommend staying here because given the location, you can easily drive to any point in Northern Ireland. If we will return (when we will return) to North Ireland, we will definitely stay here again.

  • Thank you so much - really grateful for everything.

  • Crannagael House offers a peaceful, safe, traditional farm location within easy reach of Belfast by car for day trips. The owners, Jane and John, live in the main property and are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed with our two children (aged 9 and 6) who loved the space to roam/dash around, meet the dogs and cat, plus horse and donkey, and pick raspberries. The kitchen is very well equipped and the hosts kindly supplied all sorts of provisions including fresh eggs and vegetables. As there is a third bedroom downstairs with a downstairs shower/loo, this property can sleep 5 (double, twin, single). The house has a guest book to write in and you can see everyone who has stayed here loves it.

We welcome you to our family farmhouse in the beautiful countryside, situated on the edge of the County Tyrone and County Armagh. Just a 2 km drive off the M1. My husband, Polly ( the sheepdog), and I will be here to welcome you into our home, We have free range hens and they contribute towards your lovely breakfast. And a few traditional Irish Draught horses. Summertime rush hour is the cows coming home up the road from the field to be milked on the neighboring farm.
We live within the working farming community, surrounded by grazing livestock. It seems secluded but we are only 1 kilometre off the M1, 15 minutes drive from Armagh, Portadown and Dungannon. Sightseers can easily visit The Hill of ONeill Dungannon, Armagh City and return through the 🍏 orchards . Peatlands Park (a bogland with walkways) and the National Trust properties of The Argory and Ardress house. And we are just a 45 min drive from Belfast.

  • Carolyn is a perfect host very friendly a very comfortable and peaceful place to stay

    Nick2019-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Carolyn was a fantastic host. I was given a quick tour on arrival after being introduced to the dog. I dumped my bags in my room and was offered a cup of much needed cup of tea. Carolyn was very flexible and was happy if you wanted to talk or just spend time on your own. The tea and porridge was great! The bed was comfy and the farmhouse was full of character and very cosy. I would love to stay again next time I am over in Ireland. Cheers and all the best, Elliot.

  • My stay here was exceptionally hospitable. I was made feel totally at home and I felt like I wasn't intruding at all. Carolyn made the stay extra special with little touches which make you want to come back. It was a cozy and stylish house where I was given lots of space and privacy. I'll definitely be back if I'm in that neck of the woods!

  • I had a fantastic stay at Joe's place. Joe, and Kathleen who lives in the house, were both very hospitable and helpful in every way. The room was tidy with a fine sunrise view of the nearby hills, and Kathleen served a homemade breakfast every morning. The house is just a 10 min walk to the center of Armagh, and both hosts provided generous amounts of tips about the city and its surroundings. I can't recommend Joe's place enough, and I look forward to when I get to return!

We love our little place situated in unspoilt countryside close to the shores of Lough Neagh. Our house is a quirky, cosy home with 2 open fires and filled with books and art. We are very central for travelling anywhere in Northern Ireland and just off the M1 motorway. There are also many places of interest nearby. • We needed a family base where we could have space for time with young family members. This house gave us that space. The three separate living spaces together with three double bedrooms was just what we needed. It was much closer to the city centre than we had realised which was a real bonus. Very quiet location and a great back garden for a kick around with a ball for visiting children. It was everything we needed it to be!

    Alison2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great clean spacious house in a perfect location. Great communication and quick responses from the host also. Thankyou!

  • A few lads and I needed a place to stay for the night as we had intended to meet up while home from uni and chat, watch films and play video games together and so we looked into this location which was brilliant for our needs. The house was tidy, clean and modern and was perfect for us, with handy, easy to work utilities within. Perfect place for a family or a visit with friends as the town is close enough and there are shops local.

  • My partner and I needed a place to stay for one night in Armagh, and Aidan's place met our needs perfectly. The place was very clean and ready when we arrived early. Though we didn't meet Aidan, communication was great and there were no issues with the house.

Our cottage is situated on approx 7 acres of land with plenty of wide open space. All of the rooms are spacious and light. We have 2 recreational rooms, the lounge has a real log burning fire with plenty of logs and our dining room has sky lights and a large flat tv. The cottage is situated at the bottom of a long and private drive with parking for 10-12cars. Just 5 minutes drive to the motorway and local amenities. Sorry but we don't allow pets.
It is private, secluded and peaceful. Tranquility deep in the heart of the countryside. A place to relax and unwind,
Neighbourhood very quiet , people friendly, always watching out for each other.

  • Shirley & Victor couldn’t do enough to help when we were booking & before our stay & this standard of care sums up the house & our time in their lovely house. The whole place is spotlessly clean & they have thought of everything. The welcoming touches - the homemade soup was particularly welcome - & thoughtfulness go way above any place we’ve ever stayed & surpassed our highest expectations. This particularly made staying there, & especially after arriving in the middle of the night with 4 small children, much much easier. Unfortunately it was a brief stay this time, we so wish we had been able to stay for longer, but will definitely be returning! Thank you Shirley & Victor!

    Debbie2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t thank you enough! Absolutely perfect and great hosts! Will be using again for sure! Thank you!

    Oliver2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Your place was full of love, warmth, kindness and happiness! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! You were there at the drop of a hat, but not in our face either. So beautifully balanced! The soup was delicious and the extras you provided were much appreciated! Your home was very clean too! Thank you so so much!

    Mary2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cottage, nice people, we found some food and drink in the fridge and a soup wehnelt we arrive! Confortable, tidy, large bathroom and plenty of sofas and armchairs, you may regret the table for 8people if you come from France or Italy (we had to split in 2 groups for dinner) We enjoyed staying and had a good time

    Lucia2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in Derrycaw cottage. It had everything we needed to make us feel at home and Shirley and Victor were nothing but welcoming and so friendly. We had plenty of space and it was only a short distance from our relatives in Lurgan. Thanks so much, we will definitely stay again sometime! From the Henry’s.

    Sonia2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Shirley was a great host - kind and thoughtful, nothing was too much effort. The home was spacious and perfect for our group. It was lovely and clean. Thank you for a lovely stay!

  • Shirley and Victor would definatley be great ambassadors for N.I tourism. They have to be the best air bnb hosts we have ever met. Their warm welcome made us feel like family members , the fridge was well stocked and the delicious homemade soup was unexpected and amazing. We would recommend visiting the Rare breed pet farm a must for adults and children and reasonably priced, recommended by our hosts. The lovely puppy Barney was most entertaining and friendly. Shirley and Victor made us feel so at home , we would highly recommend a stay here as it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Thanks a million Shirley and Victor we hope you visit us again.

  • My family of five stayed with James this weekend and I cannot speak highly enough of his property or hospitality. This house is magnificent so spacious, clean and comfortable, it is in the ideal location for discovering Northern Ireland and is very central to all areas. James is a wonderfull host and made our family more than welcome. We will definitely be back as there was so much we didn't get a chance to see or do. Highly recommended to families or groups who want to discover the beauty of Northern Ireland.

Cushenny House is very special. Steeped in 100’s of years of history, and home place of the foundation of the Orange Lodge, (LOL 1 is a stones throw away), we have a stunning, peaceful home nestled amid rolling hills, a stream and ancient orchards. Our 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home has a large family kitchen and living area, a reading room, a sitting room, utility and storage. Outside the gardens reflect the seasons and the sun sets are breathtaking from the large patio. Tranquility awaits.
Our home is built on the historic lands that saw the formation of the Orange Order. The buzzards fly overhead and the only sound is that of the odd tractor on the road filled with hay or a few cars passing by.
  • This is a very spacious house that is great value for the price we paid. It appears to have been recently refurbished and everything was great. We were a familly of 6 and we stayed most of a week. It was a fantastic base.

    Andy2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • The house was superb. Maurica was an excellent host, responding very quickly to any questions and taking the initiative to explain check in etc. Such a high standard of accommodation and in the most beautiful surroundings. Very very comfortable and spotlessly clean, this accommodation is a credit to its host and when we are in the area again we have found our place to stay!

    Stuart2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is extremely well kept and is very high standard accommodation. Perfect location in beautiful countryside with easy access to Northern Ireland. The accommodation is very spacious with numerous rooms to relax and unwind. Bathrooms and kitchens were spotless with high quality amenities. Comfy beds with good linen and towels. Communication is excellent and the hosts are really friendly. Ample parking, beautiful grounds and lovely decoration internally. A home from home. The 40 minute train to Belfast city is close by in Portadown (free parking) and the east coast (Mourne mountains) are just under an hour.

    Paul2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This home was more than we could’ve hoped for, it was absolutely perfect. The home was set on grounds that were like being in an Irish story book. Full of beautiful gardens surrounded by Rollinghills with cattle and apple orchards. This beautiful modern home made you feel like you were in a five-star hotel with all the modern conveniences. It was the best part of our 14 day trip in Ireland. Three nights, Easy access to Belfast and other parts of northern Ireland and in a perfect location. We could probably write a whole story on our host, she was fabulous. She was a wealth of knowledge and gave us tons of tips and places to eat and left many brochures in the kitchen for us to review . She left us a lovely breakfast and even brought over a homemade apple crumble our last evening. We will definitely be back!

Super clean and a very accommodating owner, who really put herself out to allow my daughter to enter the apartment early because it was free and saved her having to hang around for hours. A really clean and spacious apartment that you just know has been given a great deal of thought. Very good value as well - an even bigger bonus! Would definitely use again. Thanks Leonne!

  • We stayed as a last minute booking, but were very impressed. We basically arrived, got take-away, and crashed. BUT, what a cute spot. It’s 2 levels of modern living. Kitchen/living room was big enough for all six of us to have supper and relax. The beds were comfy, and it was easy to access the few amenities that we needed. Thanks!

  • This Airbnb experience was like a classic, well-kept BnB, in proximity to the lively town of Armagh but set back within a quiet distance. from a busy road. Everything was nicer than imagined with tasteful modern decor in the bedroom & a freshly remodeled, clean bathroom. The on-site host, Cathleen, was warmly engaging and we really enjoyed our chats with her as well as the pleasure of the big Irish breakfast, including extra good coffee, she prepared. Highly recommended as a great place to stay in Northern Ireland!

  • Fabulous spacious, pretty and comfortable farmhouse in a great location with superb hosts who made us feel very welcome with every home comfort, delicious breakfasts, hot water bottles and cosy wood burning stove in the sitting room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our little dog who loved polly and would highly recommend this beautiful farmhouse and its lovely owners carolyn and her husband

  • A beautiful home, countryside and family. I feel like one of the family, Carolyn and her family are very friendly, funny and welcoming. This is definitely the place to stay to experience excellent local hospitality and if an agricultural show is on, possibly gain a rosette too. I definitely intend to come back. I set the next airBnB guest a challenge, I found two tyre swings on the farm, see if you can find them both:)

  • A welcoming and warm home and working farm. Carolyn goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. The delicious breakfast and homemade jam was fantastic. I can’t recommend her home highly enough. Certainly the best airbandb I have experienced in my many travels. Thank you so much

  • Great location, close to Armagh, in some beautiful woods. Really comfy bed, small kitchen, bath, wood burner (you might have to split some logs to make kindling!). Communication with hosts was spot on and they were really accommodating with our arrival time etc. Thanks Jayne! X

  • Enjoyed a lovely relaxing night away! Weather wasnt the nicest but it was toasty in the cottage. Arriving, we thought the main driveway and gold gates is very fancy! All the information we received was great, from getting there to the different walks. Seeing deer in the forest was amazing!

  • Stunning little cottage set on a country estate which makes you feel completely secluded. Stunning views and not another person in sight. Amazing for dogs but ONLY for those with great recall and low prey drive and livestock and wildlife abound! Would not let a dog off lead otherwise. Little fire in the sitting room was lovely and it is just a perfect place for a peaceful get away!

  • lovely place to be. very quiet and private. once you have a car you are not too far away from town.

  • This is the best little surprise you could ever expect as the pictures don’t do this place justice. The experience from the moment you go through the gorgeous gates, to driving through the amazing grounds to your secluded little sanctuary in the forest is just breathtaking. The little cottage is like something out of a storybook! It is so cute, with just the right amount of space for us both and are 3 dogs. The outdoor space was just incredible the dogs loved the freedom and the walks were wonderful, which Jayne provided fantastic maps for us to follow. Jayne was an incredible host and there for anything you need. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon which I think speaks volumes. I really can’t explain how fantastic this little place is, you really need to see it for yourself!

  • Well, to sum it up we were booked for 2 nights and ended up booking a 3rd extra night while there! Lovely wee cottage set in beautiful grounds. It was a proper wee get-away. The cottage has everything you need for a proper cabin-esque retreat; including a picnic table outside which we made good use of in the sun! And the evenings were extra cosy with the log burner, which our pup Kaya loved particularly. The bed was super comfy (as every one seems to be saying!) and the hot water is plentiful. Jayne was a great host and was super responsive and accommodating. Were sad to leave and shall definitely return.

  • The Forest House is a lovely cabin set in peaceful surroundings, with great facilities and location.

    Martyn2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really lovely weekend at the Forest Lodge. We wanted to feel we were in nature but be protected from the weather (a good plan it turns out, as Ireland got the tail end of a hurricane while we were there!) I really appreciated the detailed history of the estate that was provided, being able to walk through the woods each day and the child we had with us really loved the treehouses. It wasn't quite as secluded as I thought it would be, with the stables and house nearby, but we barely saw anyone and the little one liked to see the horses.

  • Amazing house in a great location.

  • It didn’t take long to feel welcomed and comfortable. The home is simply beautiful! Quiet and gorgeous! Staying in Moy allowed us easy access to a variety of sites around Armagh and beyond. In addition, it was easy to find safe and scenic running routes around Moy to begin our day! The neighbours all made us feel very welcome when we mentioned staying at ‘Jules’ Manor.’ Thanks for an amazing stay! Kevin B.

  • Fabulous space - the house is huge. Lots of sofas and loads of natural light - felt like we were on the continent! Very comfortable, and supermarkets close by, so great for a chilled out holiday. Daughter loved the cast iron bathtub.

    Brenda2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • This spacious house is just 2 minutes walk from the very pretty square in Moy and backs onto the river walk plus there are two nice restaurants nearby. The house has oodles of space to hang out with friends and family and the large kitchen and table provides plenty of space for food prep and cooking. It's full of light, large spaces, and yet really quiet at night, and very comfy beds. A great location and spot for a large family or group of friends.

    Petrina2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • We were delighted with the property, a beautiful, spacious (cannot overstate just how much space there was) escape from the city with lovely views of the coutryside, 5 mins from shops and amenities and only a short drive to Belfast. Would definately book again.

We live in a beautiful old Hunting Lodge near a little town called Moy in between Armagh and Dungannon in NI. The house sits amidst 300 acres of beautiful land, forest and lovely walks. We also have a court yard of stables and out houses and keep 15 horses and ponies too. The house has 5 double rooms, 2 reception rooms, 2 dining rooms and library room. Although nearly 300 years old, it has been beautifully restored and provides a beautiful place of warmth, calm and tranquility.
There are many great local restaurants and bars in the surrounding areas

  • James is a great host and couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. The countryside around his house is like a picture postcard and the accommodation is outstanding. James invited us to watch the Hurling final with him and he was great company. Al in all a great stay highly recommended.

  • A fully, self-contained space, for a small family. So much more than my son and I needed, our only regret was we were not staying for longer, to take in more of an experience.
