Simply perfection!

It was a great place to stay, the house is beautiful and larger than most casas - the service was great as were the mojitos. Only complaint would be that shower had low water pressure and was sort of cold, but this was common in Havana and didn't seem to be unique to this place. Otherwise wonderful!

La Rosa de Ortega is wonderful! What a welcoming and warm place to stay. The breakfasts were delicious. The drinks were memorable. We enjoyed private massages on site. Incredible views. Spacious bedroom and private bath. Beautiful pool. Libraries with books. Gracious staff. An all around incredible experience!

We had a great time with Julia and Silvio. Everything is lovingly and tastefully decorated. Breakfast and lunch were plentiful and delicious. All the staff were very friendly and professional. We would like to come again!

Our stay here was amazing, their place has amazing views of Habana City! Julia and Silvo are so nice and accommodating, they provide you with so much information on arrival and want to help in any way they can! Their house is stunning, so clean and well kept! The food was so tasty and the pool really helped on those hot Cuban days! I couldn't recommend this place more, in fact I've already told my friends travelling to Cuba soon, to stay here! You shouldn't stay anywhere else in Havana in my opinion!

The Palacete Vedado is by far the best Airbnb I've had the pleasure of staying. The photos are accurate but the place is even more beautiful in person. We traveled in a group of 7 people and the house was perfect for our group. The rooms were comfortable and well air conditioned. The home was clean and the house staff were kind as well as helpful. We all enjoyed an excellent breakfast at the home each morning with fresh fruit, juices and eggs. Greisy's recommendations for local restaurants and bars were unbelievably exceptional. I wish we had stayed longer to visit every recommendation as we loved each one we tried. I would go back and stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a stunning apartment in Vedado. The aesthetics (high ceilings, moldings, vintage accents) are lovely. We were met by a full-time security guard, introduced to the staff who make breakfast, and helped to make reservations. (Note that most of the folks there each day do not speak English.) It was easy to get a taxi even though the location is residential. It's an expensive Airbnb option, but with all necessary amenities and above and beyond decor.

The house was impeccable and the staff, outstanding. We felt comfortable and safe at all times. We very much appreciated Greisy's timely communications and recommendations. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Cuba.

This is a glorious experience, a real colonial home with a modern fit out. With the convenience of maids and a security guard, it's part hotel staying! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, there is so much nearby to Vedado and within Vedado as well. I highly recommend it!

(URL HIDDEN) This is a perfect place to stay if you have more than two people. It is a huge apartment!! It's so clean and incredibly beautiful. The original tile work, and gorgeous moldings and light fixtures are all original and exquisite. We loved staying here!!! The two girls who cleaned and made our delicious breakfast were more than helpful. Have your Spanish translation dictionary, and we were able to communicate pretty well. Also, our 24 hour security staff was also very helpful calling us a taxi when needed. However, we enjoyed walking the grand and beautiful avenues in Vedado. This house sleeps eight comfortably, and it was a bit big for on two people, but we still enjoyed every minute there!! Thank you for everything Greisy!! Cuba is so wonderful!!

Amazing house with a great staff. Perfect place for our first Cuba experience

We were in Cuba for a week and had the good fortune to find this place for our time in Havana. The Greisy's could not have been nicer and more patient as we negotiated the details of the trip, driver, ets. They made great suggestions on what to do, eat and see. They answered all e-mails immediately and really worked with us throughout. The house is beyond wonderful, outside the tourist rush yet close by everything and easy to find taxis any time to go wherever. The staff at the house was also very warm, happy, skilled, able and willing to work out all our "details". Our group speaks english, italian, and not enough spanish, but we managed fine with their patience and attention. This turned out to be fun rather than a frustration. Their driver, Dayner, was also great and our transfers from the airport and whatever plans we made with him were effortless and fun. All the staff helped us with gusto. When we returned from a two day trip to Vinales (also great) we felt we had "come home". Lounging on the front terrace looking out over the city and water was great. We will return any time we go to Cuba.

What a wonderful stay ! The property was everything it was proposed to be. A wonderful restoration of a beautiful property. The location was good and we always felt safe in Havana. The support staff were helpful and patient (we found that our "California Spanish" was not as useful as we had hoped) with the language challenges. Wonderful visit, we would stay here again or recommend it in the future.

English / Spanish Our stay at Casa Blanca was wonderful. We were greeted by Yosvany's mother upon arrival and immediately were made comfortable and welcomed. The location could not be better; the house is situated right in front of Malecon, with the most spectacular view of the sea and lighthouse. It is within walking distance of downtown Havana and Old Havana. The accommodations were beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. The air conditioner (which you certainly need in the summer time) works great. The house looks just like in the pictures. Everything was great, but probably the best part of our stay there was the wonderful hospitality of our hosts. Yanet (Yosvany's sister) and Mayte (one of the other administrator) were always making sure that all of our needs were met. We spent great moments talking to them, getting tips on how to move around, go to nearby cities, and places to visit in Havana. They even arranged our stay at other B&Bs in other cities. Janet and Mayte are so full of energy and simply joyful ladies. Thank you so much - we miss the great breakfast you provided and the hot sauce you provided upon my request! The night guards were also very helpful and friendly. Yosvany was not in town during our stay, but he always communicated with us prior to our arrival and informed the ladies of our communication to ensure everything went smooth. Overall, we greatly recommend Casa Blanca. When we return to Havana, we certainly plan on staying there. ----- Nuestra estancia en Casa Blanca fue excelente. La casa esta situada justo enfrente del Malecón, con vistas espectaculares del mar y el faro. Justo en Havana central, uno puede caminar al corazón de la ciudad y a la vieja Habana. Best location!

Yosvany was an amazing host! From the minute we got there, we realized we didn't know exactly where Casa Blanca was. Luckily we had his phone number and he was able to lead us to the most beautiful view on the Malecon! Staying at Casa Blanca truly felt like staying with family and this is why I love Airbnb. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are back in Havana. Thanks for everything you did to make us feel at home!

Casa Blanca was a great place to start our trip in Cuba. Yosvany is an excellent host. He speaks fluent Italian and good English and was good to check in on us several times a day to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Not to mention, he's so handsome he made my wife nervous. :) The house is decorated all in white and very clean. The location was great, sitting right on the Malecón. It is a short walk to old Havana, close to markets to buy water and snacks, and close to a park to buy cards (CUC$2-3 per hour) to use the Internet on your phone. We were greeted by Maite with two glasses of cold lemonade. She was sincerely excited to have us there and very helpful in arranging transportation and other accommodations after leaving casa Blanca. Maite was an English teacher and her English is great. She's a social networker and helpful in planning whatever you would like to do in Cuba. Note: Might be worthwhile to ask Yosvany to help arrange transportation from the airport. The taxi from the airport should be around CUC$40.

We had a wonderful time staying at the B&B. One of our favorite parts of our whole trip was relaxing on the B&B's balcony. Great view of the ocean and Malecon. Service was great, we definitely recommend this place.

Just a wonderful experience! A delicate and beautiful home right on the Malecon and walking distance from Old Havana! The family and staff are so friendly, breakfast each morning was simple and lovely and we couldn't say enough about how magical this little B&B really is!

Cannot recommend this place enough!

Arianna is an awesome host. As our first time visiting Cuba, we were unsure of how welcome we would feel, and if we would be able to find certain things such as good places to eat or visit, but Arianna was a wealth of help and information. The home is beautiful; as good or better than pictures, clean, and the household staff were there to assist with anything we needed. In terms of location, accommodation and cost, staying at Arianna's house is a no brainer for anyone considering a trip to Cuba!

Our first trip to Cuba was a breeze. It's a challenge to do many things online because of the regulated wifi use in Cuba many businesses don't have websites and can be unresponsive to email. However, Arianna and staff recommendation made this an easy breezy no fuss adventure into Cuba's culture. Upon booking, we received a VERY detailed email of all things we needed to know from. Wifi, transportation, currency, location, what apps to download in preparation, things to do, places to see, ALL basis were covered. After thorough review of the email we made several requests and everything that could be taken care of in advance she arranged for us. Upon arrival we were greeted with security who contacted Arianna who made dinner reservations for us at Cafe Laurent! MY FAVE IN CUBA. She also connected us with a photographer (Rolando). A guide (Carlos), private drivers with fully restored American cards from 1950s. We were completely taken care of! Breakfast was included with our stay and housekeeping ladies were extremely friendly. Breakfast was the same each day of our stay, fresh fruit, toast, eggs, freshly squeezed juice, and amazing coffee! Perfect protein breakfast to get you going before you begin to explore Cuba. Our accommodations in Cuba were the best in the area. The home is 19th century beautiful Spanish home with extremely tall ceilings, doorways, molding, chandeliers. It has a front and backyard courtyard with tons of privacy. The community is walkable, safe, and convenient to dine, sightsee. Our guest room had it's own updated private bath with very hot shower (bonus)! In our room, there was a flat screen tv and a dvd player (we didn't use). We had an air conditioner that we could control with a remote. Two full size beds, comfy mattress, and cozy bedding. Great restful nights in this home. There's a dining room and living area in the home that's well decorated with the vintage but also well maintained esthetic you travel to Cuba to see. The home was fully staffed with friendly security and housekeeping. Arianna takes very good care of the property. Scheduling maintenance and repairs can be a challenge if you understand the Cuban economy so you would appreciate the level of care and condition of this home built in 1850. This home is close to a public park with wifi access so if that's important for you then you'll want to stay here for sure.

Arianna's house was absolutely incredible. The location was perfect, walking distance to exciting restaurants and nightlife in Vedado and on the Malecon, and in an easy location to get a cab to Havana Vieja. The house itself is stunning, and beautifully renovated. It was comfortable, modern and charmingly decorated. And Arita the housekeeper is a dream, and will help you set up anything that you need! I can't wait to come back to Havana, and can't wait to stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Arianna's place. This is very old house that looks great and is nicely renovated keeping the old charm. Stuff is great. The only disadvantage is that bathrooms are not directly connected to the rooms (although they are private). Also, place is a bit remote from the old town (we had to take a taxi, which is 7 - 12 cuc), although neighborhood is very quiet and not touristy which means that you will be able to experience real life in Havana if you walk around a bit.

Casa Arianna, was basically like a boutique hotel. The location eas superb because it was close to main places/attractions with being noisy. The decoration was very tasteful and they help you with sugestions, taxis, etc. If I return to Cuba soon, I will definitly stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was well maintained, with high ceilings, relaxing court yards and stylish artwork. The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. We also appreciated the location -- Vedado is a less touristy neighborhood, with great restaurants, theaters, bars and event spaces. I would highly recommend staying at Arianna's home.

We loved staying in Geisys' beautiful home! The apartment is clean, spacious, and comfortable and the neighborhood is great for walking. Geisys is a great host, she was accessible when needed, and provided us with lots of helpful information. Because our Spanish is below par, Geisys connected us with her friend, who was able to translate for us in a pinch….and also arranged for a driver to take us exploring the countryside. Wish we could have stayed longer! All the prior reviews of this place are on the (URL HIDDEN) I end by saying……we’re coming back!

Really nice apartment located in a quiet suburb about 10-15 mins from old Havana. Easy to get into town by very cheap cab ($1 per person if shared or $5 if not). Geisys was a fantastic host who looked after us very well - helping us change money when we arrived, arranging for a driver to take us to the nice beach east of Havana and then on to the airport. We really appreciated it thank you!

Geisys's apartment is clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and stylishly decorated, and Geisys herself is a lovely, kind, helpful person. She provided eggs, fruit, bottled water, coffee, sugar, etc. There's a hair dryer and an iron, and a housekeeper comes to clean the apartment every other day. It's just two blocks from the Hotel Copacabana, so you can easily walk to the hotel to have a drink, use the Internet, or catch a cab. Although I haven't seen any of the rooms at the Hotel Copacabana, I suspect Geisys's apartment is much more comfortable than any of them and at a fraction of the cost. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and there are some fantastic bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby. (Our favorites were Cafe Fortuna and the Paladar El Paleo.) However, it is a bit far from central Havana, and cabs into town can be expensive. We were generally charged about 15 CUC each way. In theory, one can catch a collectivo for 1 CUC, but every time we tried, all of the collectivos were full. So we eventually gave up and just paid for private cabs. All in all, though, we were happy with Geisys's apartment and we were enchanted by Geisys herself. We would stay here again.

Geisys appartment was completely great! is spacious, comfortable, illuminated and preciously decorated with Geisys paintings. Everything was smooth with Geisys since the beginning: fluid communication before, and when in Habanna she also gave us a list of top places to eat and hang out in Habanna. This list is really complete and helpful!! Thanks for this, Geisys! The flat is located 15-20 minutes far from Old Habana by taxi, in the district of Miramar which is a nice and calm neighborhood that has everything you need: from top paladares like Carboncita ( just around the corner) to Nero di Sepia (10 minutes walking), to nice and not that expensive places to have breakfast and supermarkets to buy essentials. Even though for some the location can represent an issue, for us it wasn't at all and we enjoyed taking "la máquina" (a collective taxi) to go to old habana when needed. We would recommend anyone who comes to Habanna to stay there!

Geisys apartment was exactly as pictured. It was located a little further than old havana but still in a great location. Taxis are easily accessed in the neighborhood and there are restaurants and nightlife nearby. We loved staying at Geisys apartment, the decor was amazing! and those paintings were made by Geisys herself! Although we had a short stay Geisys and her sister were very helpful, we would definitely stay here again!

House was great - just as it was advertised. Don't let the outside of the building deceive you, the apt. is perfect and nicely located near hotels with internet access. You are about a 15min taxi ride to Old Havana - keep that in mind! Geisys was very helpful and provided and nice list of places to eat near her place. I definitely recommend if you want to be in a quieter neighborhood away from the more bustling Old Havana scene.

Geisys was a very helpful and warn host. She made every effort to make sure we found all the right places to eat and had have a great time while in Cuba. Her apartment is very clean and cozy. After coming in from the hustle and bustle of the city that's what we wanted. The only drawback is the entrance way or front to the apartment is not very inviting. Other than that everything was GREAT!

House is stunningly beautiful. You should know that central Havana is noisy and often smells of heavy exhaust. The host of the house often hangs out with friends. You must be comfortable with a shared type situation.

James' home is AMAZING! It's clean, well decorated and just happens be across the street from the best roof top bar in Havana (not to mention La Guarida restaurant where we saw Ethan Hawke). Yoel was amazing and so sweet to us. He arranged a taxi van to Trinidad which was no easy feat and took us to exchange money so we didn't have to go to the bank. If I ever go back to Havana, I'll definitely stay at this place.

Overpriced. The house is beautiful, but lacks in comfort. The common area is a shared space with other two bedroom gets. The bathroom needs major upgrade. The toilet was not fluxing properly, it needs more light and a sink counter, there is not enough water person, the towels need to be replaced and the bedroom and bathroom are dark; it needs good rugs in the bedroom and bathroom. It offers a simple, but clean kitchen (needs an upgrade for the price). There is a major renovation going on in the building across the street, and it's very noisy. The place is located within few blocks from ocean, but there is nothing do in the area beyond a desolated ocean drive and an expensive email in a famous restaurant across the street (major renovations going on inside and out). The main park is several blocks away through a decayed neighborhood. It's not worth more than $80 a day when compared with the local prices to rent a bedroom in a private home. I would not spend $186 dollars (without breakfast included ) per night to stay in the same house again. Cuba offers great deals - this is not one if them.

Great home in a good location. Must visit the restaurant opposite, it was some of the best food and cocktails we had in Havana.

Just back from Cuba and had an amazing time. The apartment was clean and spacious. It's right across from La Guarida on a great street and provides an opportunity to experience real life onCuba. Also being close to the restaurant makes it easy to get back to the apartment by taxi since the restaurant is so well known. Unfortunately Yoel was in an accident right before we arrived and was out of commission during the stay. He had a few people to help with some of the minor glitches we experienced, but overall it was a great place to stay and extremely well priced. We had friends stay a few blocks away at another Airbnb which was 3x as much and pretty comparable. James was always responsive, sent me a confirmation the week prior to my trip and offered up great tips.

You can stop looking. This is the place. Centrally located near a popular restaurant so it's easy to get anywhere and it's easy to get back because all the cab drivers know where the restaurant is. Architecture and decor are perfect for the step back in time that La Habana provides. We had a phenomenal time and would definite stay here again. 5/5

Aymeet and her staff are family now!!! Our experience in Villa Costa Habanera was perfect for our family of 6. We each had a private room and bath. The staff made us a wonderful breakfast each morning and were always there when we needed anything. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend the location as it is within walking distance to everything in Central Havana, the Malecon, La Habana Vieja, the on and off bus, etc. Un abrazo fuerte para mi Familia en la Villa Costa Habanera!

Aymeet was a wonderful hostess and keeps the house beautiful! We stayed three nights and then left Havana for a few days and then returned one night before we left the country. She made delicious breakfasts everyday with homemade guava jam. On the last night she made us a fabulous dinner. Much better than any paladar. The rooms are clean and bright and really really pleasant. With a family of five, we were all really happy which was sort of miraculous.

Excellent treatment and service in every way. The house is very nice, very well located and definitely would stay there.

Where can I start? There are so many incredible things about this place! We had the most incredible stay. The location was incredible, the host is outstanding, the staff would go out of their way to do whatever they could to make us feel at home, and the house is absolutely gorgeous! Orialis was super helpful before our trip helping us organize transportation and working to ensure we were all set with everything we needed. I cannot imagine our trip without her help. When we were staying at the house, everyone - Orialis, the staff that works at the house - were the best! We felt part of the family from the moment we arrived. I could not speak more highly of this place. Do yourself a favor and stay here when you're in Habana!

Orialis greeted us when we first got there! She was so great to make us feel welcome and right away we felt at home. The house was in great condition and the neighborhood was very safe. They have on-sight security. The rooms are in good condition and they have A/C units in all the rooms. The bathrooms were very nice and recently re-done. The whole group of people that work with her are so amazing! They made us breakfast every morning and on our last night made us a PHENOMENAL Cuban dinner! It was by far the best meal we had while we were there. The first day she set us up with a driver- Joel, who drove us around everyday in his car and taught us a lot about the culture and the country. His English is very good and he is super nice. I definitely suggest having him drive you if you want to go somewhere outside of Havana. I would absolutely recommend this house weather you just want to rent one room or all four. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Clean and cozy accommodation with totally lovely people. Hot water and air conditioning, which are really beneficial. A delicious breakfast in the morning and you could start the day.

Perfectly restored historically house. Loved interior design, decor and furnishings. Bed extremely comfortable. Hot shower greatly appreciated. House and kitchen team were wonderful. Accommodating my need for hot water while I nursed a vacation cold was above and beyond. A little confusion about the scheduling of a taxi ride. Though it all sorted out in the end. All in all a great place to stay in downtown Havana.

I gave this place 5 stars because it was absolutely perfect. My family and I stayed here for just over a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Oralis, David, Honorio and exercise were always helpful and accommodating. From the moment we arrived to the day we left they were able to answer any questions we had. Yusleidis (Muneca) is the amazing cook. The food was great. We had breakfast every morning and were never disappointed. Our family decided to eat dinner at the house a few of the days as well because we loved the food and the company. The place overall was very clean, the beds were comfortable and their was a private bathroom in every room. Our group was large so we booked the whole place. Every family member was pleased with the room. On our plane flight home all we did was talk about how lucky we were to find such a wonderful place. Not only was the inside of the place great, but the location was perfect as well. We were a few blocks from the Hotel National, Habana Libre, Malecon and many restaurants. It is a short cab ride to Old Havana, we even walked it when we felt like some exercise (about a 30 minute walk) If you want to have a great time, talk to some wonderful people and truly enjoy your time in Havana stay here. I can't wait to go back and I would definitely stay here again.

Coming to Cuba is very different form other countries, but Luis made sure that our first days in Havana was absolutely perfect. The accommodation was good and they made us breakfast for 5$ and showed us the some good places to eat and enjoy ourselves. So to sum up: 100% satisfaction.

It was a great homestand Luis Alberto, we were greeted Madelyn, his wife and from the first minute we were made to feel at home, they are very nice. The location is great, directly opposite the Capitol.

Luis Alberto and his wife were very pleasant and welcoming hosts. They gave us good advice on the surrounding area and were always a contact person there. Communicates we in a witty and functioning Spanish-English hands mix. The room is quiet and clean - and has the typical Cuban charm. The roof terrace is the jewel of the apartment, looks out directly on the opposite "Capitolio". Breakfast Madeline is a real tip: Eat like Cubans: With plenty of fresh fruit and strong coffee. I can only recommend Luis and his wife as hosts. Luis Alberto and his Wife were pleasant and hearty hosts. They gave us great hints about the vicinity, and answered all our questions - we spoke a funny but practicle Spanish-English Handsign mix. The room is as advertised, clean and in a quite location. U'll get a typicle cuban charm facility. The roof terrace is quite a gem - u're standing in front of the "Capitolio" and have a nice look around the place. Madeline breakfast is worth a try: Eating like the cubanes - lots of fruits and strong coffee. I can strongly reccommend Luis and his Wife as hosts.

Location, location, location! T'was a convenient spot a short walk to the hotspots of Habana Vieja, Malecon and museums. Luis, Madelyn and their son, were pleasant hosts.

Luis was very accommodating and helpful as to things to do in Havana, and provided great conversation about Cuba in general! Would stay with him and his wife again in a heartbeat!

The inside beautiful designed house looks in real even better than on the pictures. Pepe and Arasai were very warm and perfectly helpful persons. Especially we enjoyed the very good conversations about Cuba. So we will never forget that stay.

The accommodation at Pepi's place is beautiful. We had the first floor of the house which has a separate entrance and is decorated to a very high standard. Pepi was very helpful and helped us book a restaurant for our first night and recommended others. The lovely young lady who made our breakfast every morning (whose name I have forgotten) was also very helpful. And she made a wonderful canchanchara. We loved the bread rolls and cakes along with the rest of the breakfast. The fridge is well stocked if you want beer or water and this is charged at the end of the stay. Breakfast was also reasonably priced. It was a celebration in Trinidad when we were there so there was lots of music everywhere. We had fantastic meals at Vista Gourmet, La Ceiba and La Cubita. This apartment is incredibly beautiful. Probably there are few homes that are as beautiful as the home of Pepe. The family lives one floor below the apartment and help you with any questions. The apartment was the most expensive of our trip, but the apartment was worth the money. :) Who has the chance to visit Trinidad and to live in this apartment, this opportunity should not be missed. The apartment is beautiful. Most likely there are only few houses did are Comparable to this house. The family lives below the apartment and helps whenever you have a question. It was the most expensive apartment of our trip, but it was worth it! If you have the chance to visit Trinidad and stay in this house ... then take it !! ;)

The casa is huge, very modern and beautiful. We felt like kings when we stayed there. Location is good, in 10 minutes walk from city center. We enjoyed our stay at Nivia y Pepe!

Extremely responsive and accommodating. The house caretakers were amazing and helped us out with any requests such as car rentals, etc. The house was identical to the photos and extremely comfortable. Would recommend to anyone I know and would certainly book again!!!

We absolutely loved our trip to Cuba. At first I was a little hesitant about the location of this wonderful condo, but once we got settled into the Cuba scene, we knew we were in the right spot. Maria and Cesar welcomed us with open arms and the condo was spotless. They immediately offered to help us with taxi's and dinner reservations and their recommendations were fabulous. They cooked for us each morning and it was a great way to eat a quiet meal with our family and start our day. We also loved the restaurant two doors down called 7 Dias. They had great food and outdoor space to have a drink. Cuba was a fascinating place to visit. I was happy at night to return to Miramar after being in Old Havana all day. Miramar is much more quiet and we felt very safe there. We will 100% be returning to Cuba and would use this condo again.

Charles and Maryling might be new to the hospitality industry, but they possess a true passion and instinct for making people feel comfortable. They were super responsive from the beginning to end -- which is crucial while travelling to a place where the infrastructure needs drastic improvement. The casa was exactly what the pictures portrayed... gorgeous. The hosts also have a great supporting cast in Maria and Cesar who manage the property in their absence. Maria and Cesar are both lovely people who went above and beyond in making us comfortable. The first day of breakfast was free which was a nice touch. Maria kept our quarters clean and the fridge stocked. Miramar is actually a very good area to be close to the busy part of Havana, but far enough to have to peace and quiet. There is a quite a bit of nightlife in the area too. Our driver Yunier knew all the hot spots (Bolabana was best spot for sure). Bottom line is I would definitely recommend staying at Maryling and Charles' casa particulares -- I hope they continue to grow and I look forward to coming back someday soon!

Best experience possible from start to finish! Truthfully. This is a BnB with real people looking after you, not just a rental home with a mattress on the floor. The space can compete with the best hotels I've stayed at in Manhattan, but add the Caribbean sea 100 feet away! Terrazo floors, beautiful woods, tile work, and quality furnishings. Top notch bathrooms, kitchen and excellent A/C in every room. Communication with everyone was great, fast and very helpful every time. Took the first time traveler to Cuba stress totally out of the mix. Maria is a great cook and host, making us breakfasts and a few delicious meals. Cesar looked after us, making sure we had Taxi's, reservations, helping with recommendations, interpreting, and just genuinely trying to help us any way possible to have the best Cuba experience. Very attuned to spotting ways he can help. This made the experience much better for us. They even provided a Cell phone that worked in Cuba so we can call them if we needed help in any way (which we used a few times). We felt like we were genuinely part of their extended family. This is not to say we relied on them all day long - just the opposite. The space is completely private and to yourself. Restaurants (Paladars) are nearby and you can easily get some great meals just a walk away. VistaMar paladar (at sunset), La Fontana restaurant and El Fortuna Café are good choices. A Mercado is just a few minutes walk away as well. The neighborhood is safe. The oceanfront park Playa de 16 is right out front and populated with locals enjoying the sea all day long (great for people watching from your front window). You'll want to use a Taxi to get to most of the 'sights' in Havana. This neighbor hood is much nicer than downtown, but the trade off is that its a 15 minute Taxi to get to Old Havana. Not a problem though, Cesar will arrange it for you and Dayner was an excellent Taxi driver and Guide for our 5 day visit. He drove a beautiful '57 Chevy Belair and speaks some English. I'd recommend him as your guide as well. As you can tell we are very positive about the experience, and I would encourage you to look no further than staying here, its worth every penny.

A fantastic experience!! The residence is beautiful and so well kept. It comfortably sleeps and hosts up to 7. Waking up daily to an ocean view and watching the sun set is not to be missed. Cesar and Maria are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend the daily breakfast, and they were great about organizing transportation, reservations and anything else we needed. They are so friendly and hospitable, it was like being with long-time friends. We experienced no infrastructure issues whatsoever, we always had hot water, air conditioning,full lights, etc. We cooked one night and the stove was easy breezy to use and there were plenty of kitchen supplies. We also highly recommend Dainer for tours and/or just general taxi to and from sights. The condo is in a mostly residential area, and there are several great nearby restaurants that are walkable so it's not necessary to taxi everywhere. All in all, a wonderful trip.

This was my first time in Cuba and the location was beautiful and charming. A very short trip to Havana Vieja and Verdado. Cesar and Maria were wonderful and welcoming; Cesar assisted us with transportation and recommendations for the duration of our trip and Maria made us wonderful breakfast daily. Our trip to Havana was memorable and they made it so much more memorable with their hospitality and kindness.

What a beautiful home in Miramar, Havana. We found the home to be everything we expected, and more. The beautiful ocean views from the front room and two of the 3 bedrooms. The home was immaculate, clean and comfortable. Cesar and Maria were there when we arrived, and treated us like family. We were quickly settled in, and they even recommended a wonderful restaurant we could walk to for dinner. Each morning they were at the house and prepared wonderful breakfasts for us, and called taxi's or made dinner reservations as needed. They could not have been nicer or treated us better. Each day our bathrooms were cleaned and we were provided with fresh towels. This was by far the best AirBnB experience I had ever had, so much nicer than any hotel and well worth the cost. I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Havana.

We had a wonderful experience at Natkin's home, his mother was extremely helpful and kind in his absence. Natkin was really on top of communicating before the trip which made us feel reassured and excited in equal parts about the trip. Great location on Linea, very easy to get to places. We also had the breakfast one morning which was delish. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Havana.

Our hosts were excellent. We needed to purchase a travel bag and were accompanied to the shopping center (which also has a supermarket on the first floor which has everything from toilet paper to bottled water, chocolates to foreign liquor, Pringles to Nestle products etc) nearby and introduced to the shop that sold travel bags - shops in Cuba are few and far between, so we considered this a privilege. We didn't speak Spanish but our hosts managed to understand our English just fine. The house is on a main street in a quiet part of town and is on the same block as a VIP apartment complex which is manned by Cuban security, so the area is very safe. The house is exquisite, spotlessly clean, tastefully and elegantly furnished and is exactly what the pictures depict. The air-conditioner in our large room worked perfectly. We were thankful that we spent our last night in Havana at this location as it was the best casa that we'd been to in terms of size (large) and quality of furniture and fittings. We intend to recommend this casa to other friends who are intending to visit Havana. Excellent Pizza and Spaghetti is served in the building next door..Cheese and tomato - 10 CUP and Ham and Cheese -15 CUP (Note 24 CUP = 1 CUC so the prices are very reasonable.) The Jazz Cafe located on the second floor of the shopping center (opposite the Melia Cohiba Hotel) is excellent (10 CUC per person cover charge) 2 bands per night starting from 9.30 pm, Order the farmers paella (feeds 2 to 4) which comes with a pitcher of Sangria - 16 CUC - which is the best value for money offer they have. For those who are more fastidious, there is the Habana Cafe at the Melia Cohiba Hotel with a cover charge of CUC 20 per person (you have to be well dressed to enter) - it's sort of like a Hard Rock Cafe - show starts at 9 pm and finishes at 10.30 pm - meals and drinks are reasonably priced. It's a 10 minute slow walk back to the casa from these two locations and walking back at nearly 1 am on the quiet streets was perfectly safe. It's a short walk to the sea front and if you are prepared to walk, this casa would be an ideal base to operate from when you visit Havana.

We were warmly welcomed by Monica as Natkin was out of town. We had a bit of confusion as to location because (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps had placed us on the correct street but wrong block, so cross streets would probably be helpful for future guests to have. Monica got us all set up upon arrival and had a cup of hot Cuban coffee ready for these two weary travelers, which was greatly appreciated. The room was clean, had a VERY appreciated A/C, and we felt safe and sound the whole time. The breakfast provided for additional 5CUC was delicious and a great way to start the day.

It is a large old home with antique furniture but very dark inside. I felt it was rather expensive($80) for what it was. Our room was actually 2 adjoined so size was more than enough for 3 people. My biggest disappointment was the neighborhood as it was very much local residents and far from the busier parts of Vedado. Just stayed here our last night, but would stay in Havana Viejo or Centro Havana if doing this again. The hostess was lovely.

Natkin was away but Aime and Jorge who were both very welcoming and warm were my hosts. I was the only guest of the house while there. The house was just as described and pictured and it was a great way to experience La Havana for the first time like a local . It is located along Linea which is a main artery east to the old city (Havana Vieja) & to Centro and to the nearby beaches on tercera (13th) west. It is near many paladares and cultural venues and the Malecon is just a 10 minute walk. Room has a nice cool AC! And it's own en suite bathroom. You will appreciate to have a break from the madness (sometimes) of the old city and Centro to this relatively peaceful residential "suburb" of Vedado. I would recommend Natkin's apartment any time!. (Pointers: while the idea may be intimidating initially to share rides with locals using the old vintage cars, it's way easy!-- exchange some local currency $10 usd will get you 240 MN. Rides to Centro or Vieja will cost 10MN. If you want to go to the old city to the Capitol, stand on south side of street and flag the coolest vintage car coming your way with an empty seat. Peek in and make eye contact with driver as he will stop and and ask "¿A Havana?" (To come back stand in front of Hotel Inglatera and flag but ask ¿A Linea?) Hop in if you get a yes . Do the same towards the beaches the other way but instead ask "¿A Tercera? (To 13th?)" The Comodoro is a hotel and the stop where you can buy 'weefee' cards and surf the net and gave a drink or swim (for $3).

I didn't make it to Natkin's home due to a ... 17 hours Cubana flight delay. However Natkin proposed that his mother be up at 5 am to welcome me if I wanted to get some rest and a shower, and this was very nice of them. Unfortunately the delay got longer and longer, and I arrived in Havana just in time to catch a bus.

Aimee (sp?) made our two one-night stays in Vedado seamless and pleasant. The accommodations are impeccable and spacious, with proximity to restaurants, money exchange and WiFi. Highly recommended!

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures, and had a marvelous old town feel to eat with just the right amount of modern amenities. From the moment we arrives Aime was very welcoming and looking to be as much help as possible in making sure that we got the most of our stay in Havana. This included making suggestions on what would be best to see in our very limited time in this city (2 days) and also by giving us directions to how to get to everything. On top of that she was extremely warm and checked in on us regularly to make sure that we were happy with our stay in the country. We could not have had a better welcome into the country.

The owner is very helpful and serves great breakfast and diner. Located in town it is a perfect place to stay and we can highly recomend it.

The house is very well located, close to the center and you can move on foot without any problems. Luis and his family are very welcoming and offer all the information and facilities to make your stay the best. The room is independent from the rest of the house, has a very nice patio where you can have breakfast wonderful breakfast to set you up Luis. Definitely recommend.

Place was awesome. Luis was super nice and welcoming and his English was amazing, so he made for a great person to talk to. His place is very close to everything within walking distance which is nice. He even has a little booklet to help you plan what you would like to do in Trinidad. I didn't need or use Internet that much but it's a HUGE deal to be able to check your email his place and I really appreciated it. Highly highly recommend.

We (2 friends) had a great time here. The apartment was perfect located to discover Trinidad. The room was very clean. Luis and his family were great! Very helpful and friendly. Even the "Medium Size"-Breakfast was a lot and very delicous! Luis cooked dinner for us and it was amazing. The best cook we had on our trip! Thanks a lot, Luis.

Yosvany's stunning Casa Blanca is a real gem. Right off the Malecon, you can open all the doors and let the ocean breeze right sweep right through your livingroom. His mother, and the night housewatchman were very helpful and super friendly. Because there are three rooms in the apartment, you are able to meet other travelers over breakfast and share stories.

Casa Blanca was a fantastic place to stay in Havana. It was by far and away the quietest place we stayed. Check in was simple with a welcome lemonade that was delicious. Everyone in the home was extremely friendly and happy to help with anything we could possibly need. My girlfriend and I could not recommend this place more.

Our stay at Casa Blanca was perfect from beginning to start. Right on Malecon easy walking to central Havana

We have been in Roberto's and Tarcy's Casa from 10. to 15. November 2016. Tarcy has given us a very warm welcome and provided help and information, whenever needed. The breakfast was good and the dinner we had one evening was with the best coconut salsa in Baracoa. The view from the roof terrace is beautyful. As well, she recomended us a local guide for some tours we made. We can 100% recommend the Casa from Roberto and Tarcy

We loved Tarcy! She called the airport to check on our flight, arranged the taxi, fixed wonderful breakfasts and a delicious lobster, shrimp in coconut sauce, white fish dinner. She also arranged our one and only beach time while in Cuba at a beautiful beach with mojitos. She's learning English and doing quite well!

I had a FABULOUS time in Baracoa & one of the reasons had to do with the fantastic accommodations I found using Airbnb! Roberto and his family provided this wonderful haven, consisting of comfortable beds & room, the most luxurious, clean bathroom & shower (--the hot water worked!!), and delicious breakfasts and dinner and kind and gracious hospitality! The location is great, not too far from the main plaza, but far enough away so that it was relatively quiet; roosters waking up before the crack of dawn only added to the ambiance of Baracoa! When I return to Baracoa, I definitely would stay here!!

Roberto and Tarcy were excellent hosts... Very helpful, friendly, and charming. Breakfast on the terrace with a view of El Yunque and the bay was a treat. The room was very nice and the food was outstanding.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at Tarcy's place. Tarcy, her children, the chef, the cleaning lady were all so lovely. The room is clean and spacious. A view from the rooftop terrace is breathtaking. We had a dinner one day, which turned out to be the best meal for our 2-week trip. The soup, the coconut milk source, the yuca, everything was so delicious! We would definitely recommend Tarcy's place to anyone planning a visit to Baracoa.

Tarcy and her family are amazing people. Lovely home and great location. She treated us like family and the meals she prepared were incredible. My husband and I will definitely miss our time in Baracoa and will always remember Tarcy for taking care of us!

Tarcy offers a very friendly, perfectly located accommodation, with breakfast available if you choose and recommendations for area highlights. She was very kind to make up for the misunderstanding about the "entire apartment" being booked, as it was really one room of two in the upstairs living area. The deck overlooking the water and the short walk to the pedestrain way is terrific. We enjoyed our time here.

Humberto's place was very large for two people, full kitchen, a dining on the first floor, two bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. He helped arrange the ride from the airport (25CUC) with his friend Ulises. There were a lot of mosquitos in the house so we had a hard time sleeping.. Could be a seasonal thing but recommend bringing repellent! Also, the shower is very very weak.

Humberto's home was exactly as described and shown on this site. Very clean and modern - perfect for our stay. We were only able to stay 1 night as our cruise ship was only in Havana for 1 night. Humberto and his aunt Rosa were so warm and friendly. Safety was never questioned in this very lively area. Everything you would need is within a block and Humberto is always available for any recommendations. It is situated 5 blocks from Hotel Nacional and the Malecon. Just strolling through the neighborhood of Vedado to see history first hand was fascinating! We highly recommend staying at Humberto's casa!!

The house was clean and spacious, a quiet little alcove set off of an otherwise bustling street. Humberto is a gracious host and talented artist. And he makes a fantastic mojito.

It was a very special time for us to stay Humberto house. His sense is wonderful!!!He is a kind person. He always help us with his smile!! His sons are very cute. I stayed for 3 days with Humberto and had a great time. The place is as described and the beds are comfortable. The location is great and the morning coffees on the roof terrace were very much appreciated. Fruit and water was provided on arrival and Humberto helped with tips on where to eat. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay again.

We stayed with Humberto for a family trip to Havana (my parents, partner and I). I booked quite far in advance and Humberto was always quick to respond to any questions before our arrival. The space was great with two private bedrooms, a shared bathroom and kitchen unit downstairs. Humberto was a very welcoming host and his art throughout the suite added to the ambiance. The upper shared terrace was an extra bonus and a relaxing place to take a break from the lively neighbourhood. Thanks again so much Humberto for the amazing stay!

Alberto and his family were such a delight. They were always available with any questions and arranged for a classic car tour for us. Alberto's dad is a seasoned taxi driver and was available for drop offs or pick us up (including a 2:00 AM pick-up from Fabrica de Arte). We found out too late there was snorkeling equipment to be borrowed so ask about it if you're interested. Jessica and Maite made us a delicious breakfast every morning. The place was spotless and the view breathtaking. Very relaxing. I would 100% be back.

Alberto's place was the first Airbnb experience that I have ever had. The end result is that I don't think I will ever book a hotel for vacation again. Alberto and his family were wonderful to my girlfriend and myself when we stayed with them even though we spoke little Spanish. Alberto's mother and a girl named Jessica made breakfast for us every morning and had it laid out on the balcony over looking the bay which is an absolutely beautiful sight to see. When it came to getting around town Alberto's father is a veteran cab driver with over 15 years experience, he knew all the sights to see all the best beaches and even local eateries. Very punctual and enthusiastic it was like having a private tour guide who let us explore at our own pace. They are all great people and I hope to visit again one day.

Alberto's family was out of this world, a beautiful place and excellent views. It was remote but the family accommodated with taxi help. The accommodation were modern and scenic; good A/C and unique views for sunrise pictures from the private terrace. The breakfast provided was spectacular and the entire family was lovely. Vacationing at Albert's home was thoroughly enjoyable. The home is one of the best I've ever stayed at in all my travels to Cuba. The view from the patio is tranquil as the house sits right on the waters edge. Albert himself is a very humble guy and more than willing to assist you with all your request. Albert's family were also pleasant people to have met. The town is quiet and very relaxing. I enjoyed watching the fishermen going out to sea daily and my walks along the sea wall. Well the highlight of the home is the small pool. A great area to get cooled off enjoy some drinks, music and good conversation with friends. Havana is just 20 min away and a average of 8cuc per way to explore the excitement of truly an amazing city. We all enjoyed the pool table in the small canteen in the lower section of the home. Cold beer, music and lots of bad shots LOL Fun was had by all. It was a most enjoyable time to have stayed at this home and wish I'll be welcome again. If I can assist any travelers to this area of Cuba please don't hesitate to contact (EMAIL HIDDEN) I know much of the ins and outs of this beautiful country as i believe it was my 36th visit.

Spend a night in this beautiful castle like home, but leave quickly. Cojimar doesn't offer much for restaurants, bars or markets. The area could be more scenic if it weren't for all the garbage polluting the beaches, streets and green spaces. Perhaps if we had gone snorkelling we would have had something more to do then simply walk up and down the streets in search of food and water. If you come prepared with your own food, the stay would be lovely. Cook on your gas range, overlook the ocean from the balcony deck, swing in the hammock, read, relax, and enjoy a picturesque view from your bedroom window. Could be a nice place for honeymooners who don't plan to leave the room. Breakfast included and tastes wonderful. Taxi service from the house available from Albert's father. Stay but know what you are in for.

This is definitely a hidden gem! I loved every minute of my stay with Albert. His family made me feel at home and gave me all the best care. I could not ask for anything more. This is not the trip that you want to take if you want all the A1 amenities, but if youre looking to get away, take a break from your phone and from the "internet world" this is a great place to go and be. Overall I could not have asked for anything better in my experience in Cuba. Loved this place, the food and of course Albert and his family. Be blessed!

Our stay was wonderful. 20 minute cab ride to Havana, 25 to Santa Maria beach, and 40 to the airport. Absolutely beautiful views and such nice people. Breakfast every morning was terrific, and our favorite part of the day since we practiced our Spanish and chatted with the ladies who prepared it for us. Alberto's Dad, Carlos, has a taxi service, so he is very flexible to take you wherever you need to go! I would give this spot an A+, however we happened to be there during a time when there was a huge festival going on, which was right next to the house, which was very loud (but it is only twice a year). Also, the dogs that live below, in the early morning are very noisy and the construction on the other side of the house also was noisy late into the night. Besides the noise, which most likely is situational, it was a perfect place to stay!! The family was very accommodating when my friend was sick with food poisoning and very helpful.

We had a wonderful time in Cuba thanks to the hospitality of Melvis, Jorge, Garciella and Lisi. This unit was exactly as described and shown in pictures and the views were even better. It was a perfect location in Habana Vieja and they were more than helpful with local recommendations, general information, exchanging money, booking a room in Trinidad and taxis. This was a great experience. Our host arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and even thought be arrived two hours late, our taxi was there. The apartment was all , and then so, the pictures and description said it would be. The view was incredible and our requested breakfasts were gourmet.

Perfect location, friendly and accommodating. The apartment was very clean, had a nice elevator and a great view from the balcony. Melvis was happy to give us recommendations of places to visit. Highly Recommend!

As it was our first time in Cuba, we were somewhat worried and did not know what to expect. However, even before booking the house, Melvis and, most importantly, her assistant Lisi had been so kind and tremendously helpful. They quickly responded to all of our messages and planned our welcoming with a booked taxi. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Lisi, Melvis' 2nd son Gio and the housekeeper Garciela with open arms. Gio was a wonderful cook, making dressings and seasonings from local vegetables, and a music enthusiast. Garciela was one of the kindest souls we've ever met - despite the language barrier - and a great cook. I will never forget her fresh fruit juices!! last but not least, Lisi was our savior and helped us - without any reluctance - plan our last-minute trips to Varderro and Trinidad and basically whenever we had even the slightest of problems. We were able to discover the beauty of these unique personalities because they treated us like family during the 10 days we were in Habana. We are incredibly greatful for their kindness and they will be held close to our hearts. Hands down best Airbnb experience thus far.

This was much more than an Airbnb experience. Melvis went above and beyond to make us feel at home — from greeting us at her place to cooking breakfast for us every morning. Her home is exactly as described, with two balconies overlooking Old Havana, making the place a real oasis. If you want to get a feel of the authentic Havana, this is the place to be. Overall, the experience was a real treat, and something our family will never forget.

If you're going to stay in Havana, you should stay at Melvis' home. First, the place is optimally located in the heart of rustic Old Havana. It's within walking distance of taxi stands, parks, bars, restaurants and Cuba's key cultural institutions. The neighborhood is great and Melvis' street often smells of baked bread thanks to a bakery next door. Second, the apartment is great. The two bedrooms are spacious and modern, kept cool by two incredible balconies and an AC unit, and kept clean and tidy by Garciella, who is sweet and helpful. The views from the apartment are unmatched. It's on the top floor of the building, giving you a view full of the city and the sunrise over the Malecon in the morning. Also, you couldn't have more gracious hosts than Melvis and her son Jorgito. Jorgito prepared a delicious and healthy daily breakfast for us. He also speaks English exceptionally well and, having designed a map of Havana, has an excellent knowledge of the city.Jorgito also has an expansive knowledge of art, culture and politics, if you're looking for more in-depth information about the country. Plus he and Melvis have great senses of humor. I and a friend stayed for a full week and couldn't imagine having spent that time anywhere else.

Interacting with Melvis from the start was easy and smooth. Lisi also wrote back and forth and even sent a driver to pick us up from the airport. Upon arrival, the housekeeper Graciela was waiting for us and she was soo nice. The apartment is in Old Havana which has beautiful architecture but is crumbled and so destroyed. When we arrived to the building i was weary, but as we entered the apartment we felt the fresh breeze from the balconies and we were beyond pleased. The apartment was perfect! Amazing views of the city. Clean white bed sheets and towels. New living furniture, it was really nice. The location was ideal, just blocks from the Cathedral and El Bodeguita del medio. It get better for breakfast Graciela and Jorge (Melvis' son) arrived to make us a Cuban breakfast. Spectacular! Fresh fruit, eggs, spreads the works. It was truly a great experience. Highly recommend

A beautiful place to stay in Havanna. It's close to the oldtown of Havanna, the Malecon and many other nice places to see. The rooms are totally as seen in the pictures. Awsome! Having breakfast on the rooftop terrasse is wonderful and for 5 CUC it's totally worth it! My husband and I enjoyed our stay a lot and WE would totally recommend to stay at Casa Densil! :)

We loved staying at Densil's casa. The casa was both unique and beautiful! Ask to catch some sun or a sunset on the rooftop, as there is a beautiful view of the city. The bedroom has a feel of being in an old movie. It contains a private staircase leading up to a private bathroom/sink area which we thought was very cool. Densil and Alexander were both incredibly accommodating. They made some great recommendations for places to go out in the area, to appreciate the city landscape from above, sightsee, or to enjoy the nightlife and dancing. Finally, the location of Densil's home was great. It was very close to the Malecon and an easy walk to La Habana Vieja (Old Havana).

Densil's place was lovely and central. The rooftop terrace is absolutely an amazing place to view Havana. I highly recommend having their wonderful breakfast on the rooftop.

La casa densil was great! Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was phenomenal -- perfect fried eggs, toast, yogurt, cereal, guayaba smoothie and good, strong Cuban coffee. Incredible. The main room is as beautiful as advertised and a drink on the roof deck is not to be missed.

This place is so beautiful. It had all the old colonial charm we were looking for. Yet, I felt the hosts were very hip and friendly. It was two blocks from a great restaurant, Migils, with great food. Also, close enough to the Old Havana area. I loved, loved the architecture and furniture. Great job guys!

We must admit to feelings of trepidation being one of the first airbnbers to go to Cuba, not knowing what to expect. But the pictures of Casa Densil looked beautiful, so we took the plunge. And what a wonderful experience we had. Our host, Edsio took care of everything, including arranging for a driver to wait for us at the airport (extra cost) when we arrived and to drop us off at the end of our trip. Casa Densil is a beautifully restored casa particular, with high ceilings, classic very tall but narrow spanish wood doors, glass chandeliers, and full of gorgeous locally purchased antiques. A standout on a street mostly filled with crumbling colonials. Also well located, very quiet, just blocks away from the oceanfront Malecon street filled with decrepit colonial buildings, but also really good street art installations. Our room was small, but well appointed, with a gorgeous chandelier hanging over a comfortable queen bed. Interestingly, an interior stair takes you up to the private small bathroom, with running hot and cold water, a luxury in Cuba our host told us. And great air conditioning, oh so good after a hot day out and about. Our host and his staff were warm and welcoming the entire time. We were greeted upon arrival with a glass of delicious local fruit smoothie, and every morning, served breakfast on gorgeous Italian china. Every day Edsio and staff were available to advise us on places to go and see in La Habana, and to share their stories on their Cuban experience and to make sure we were comfortable. Big thumbs up all round, everything we could have hoped for. Very gay friendly also, which from what we saw was not always the case in parts of Cuba.
