Welcome to our country retreat 1/2 mile from I-65. Stay for a night during a road trip or a little longer and enjoy the area. Visit the Poarch Creek museum or casino at Exit 57. We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

This is a one- bedroom house with a living room and kitchenette, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. This place is tucked away from the busy streets which makes it the perfect place to relax and rest while you enjoy the beautiful country experience. This property is located right off of Highway 84 West. It is about ten minutes from the Monroeville Square and Courthouse. It is ten minutes from our local Walmart and some good eating places and the Pulp Mill located at 2373 Lena Landegger Hwy.

"The Owl's Nest", located in rural Evergreen, Ala

The "Owl's Nest" is nestled in the peaceful countryside of Evergreen, Alabama, just 3 1/2 miles from I-65 and 6 miles from downtown. This rustic, spacious cabin features a cozy queen-size bed, a large bathroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a front porch, and an expansive deck ideal for enjoying the natural surroundings. Guests may spot whitetail deer or hear the soothing hoot of an owl, making it the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway!

Covered back porch with great privacy, fire pit area in back yard & attached carport. Guest bedrooms have queen beds. New build which opened December 20,2019. Great location for those visiting family, on business or just a relaxing getaway. 1 adult/guest must be 25 years old to book this house.

The Cabin -log cabin with sleeping loft(upstairs)

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sleeping loft will sleep 3 and +1 on the couch. Located about 5 miles off the Historic Downtown Square in Monroeville which is home to the Old Monroe County Courthouse. This location was copied in the movie " To Kill a Mockingbird". Come shop, dine and tour the local museum. Great place for corporate guests. Close proximity to Alabama River Cellulose, Georgia Pacific-Rocky Creek Lumber, Gate Precast, Harrigan Lumber & others.

Atmore is just down the road with restaurants, boutiques, and casino. I-65 is only a 10 minute drive.

Nana's Cottage

Nana's Cottage is a two bedroom/1 bath house located on HWY 43 between Grove Hill and Jackson, AL. Our cottage is nestled between Cotton State Barns and a pecan orchard. We are only minutes away from a coffee shop, Walmart, restaurants, antique stores, and Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. Also, Monroeville ( hometown of Harper Lee) is only 35 minutes away. We would love to have you stay at our cottage.
