Beautifully renovated 1800's historic cabin on 5 acres of rolling hills. This 800+ square foot cabin features gorgeous log walls, hardwood floors and new stainless appliances. Located less than 15 minutes from Downtown Culpeper, on a rural road off the highway, and near to many popular hiking trails including Old Rag Mountain and White Oak Canyon.
The cabin sits about 100 yards from the end of the driveway off of a moderately traveled road. Trees surround the property everywhere but the front so as not to block the mountain views. It is small but open with vaulted ceilings so it feels spacious. Ultimately it is a gentle balance between modern surroundings not far from town and a rustic cabin experience.
There are cows across the street and you can barely see the neighbors in the distance between the trees. The road the cabin sits back from has a bit of regular traffic but isn't bothersome.
  • Perfect cabin getaway! It was so inviting you'll feel at home right away! Every amenity was taken care of, from towels, to dishes, cookware and spices, you basically only need to bring clothes because everything else is taken care of. The cabin is very secluded and near cattle farms and horse ranches which is fun for animal lovers. It's close to several hiking trails like Old Rag Mountain Loop and White Oak Canyon Trail which have truly majestic terrain (give Old Rag a whole day because it's a nine mile loop). Also within close driving distance is Sperryville which I highly recommend checking out for an afternoon to check out the markets and local shops.

  • Tabatha's place was even better in person that the photos shown. We needed a weekend away from DC and the cottage was the perfect place to relax, enjoy some of the outdoors and quiet life. The house amenities were very good and we loved the wood fireplace, cozy living room and beautiful kitchen. The bathtub and nice back yard fireplace were a nice bonus that made the stay even better. Would highly recommend Tabatha's place to all my friends.

  • House is exactly as pictured. There were so many thoughtful touches and it felt so homey and cozy! We will definitely stay here again.

  • My wife and I stayed at Tabatha's cabin during winter. We arrived in the evening and were delighted to find the cabin perfectly heated when we walked in the door. The second thing we noticed after how cozy it was inside was how cute everything was. The cabin looks cute in the photos, but it is even more cute when you're there. There are so many little touches all throughout the cabin that gave us warm fuzzy feelings. The cabin is deceptively large. It consists of one big room, which includes the loft, and a bathroom. The living area and dining/kitchen area are partially separated by a wall, and both are very spacious. There are numerous comfortable lounging areas throughout the cabin as well as a large desk. The fridge/freezer, oven and microwave are all large and there is a lot of space for cooking and baking. The loft space is very comfortable. Out front of the cabin you'll have a clear and unobstructed view of the sunset. We didn't spend much time outdoors due to the weather, but it was a very quiet area and the air was crisp. We were visited by the sounds of cows on one morning, which was quite pleasant. The only real downsides of the cabin were the bed and the couch. The bed caves inward a little in the center, which was only an issue for my wife because she has back troubles. It was perfectly comfortable otherwise and was excellent for cuddling and watching movies in bed together. The couch was also very comfortable for the most part, and has excellent cushions and pillows, but because it is slanted a little the cushions gradually slide off it, so you might find yourself feeling like you're about to fall off it if you don't adjust the pillows every now and then. Overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to any couple considering spending a few days away together.

  • It's a lovely, intimate space, perfect for romantic weekends.

    Patrick2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Tabatha’s cute and cozy cabin makes the perfect weekend getaway! The title hits the nail on the head- the house is perfect for two and the loft bedroom is super adorable and cozy. I loved the fact that she had a coffee maker and coffee pods available. We were even able to watch the Super Bowl, which we were concerned we wouldn’t be able to watch without cable, however there was a fire stick so we were overjoyed by that. The house is decorated in that perfect magazine-worthy way while also feeling very homey and quaint. We can’t wait to stay here again soon!

  • This place was a godsend when we had to find an alternate place to “socially distance” ourselves while our own home was being worked on. The house is cozy, but ample room for our family of three. The beds were super comfy, too. We had everything we needed to cook at home, although we did get take out from the Thai restaurant a five-minute walk away that was thankfully open (and yummy!). A three-minute walk in the other direction was a park that was perfect for running around and teaching our son to ride a bike. Erik was a great host, and accepted our reservation on super short notice. Oh! And the internet was super fast and worked great as we were both needing to work remotely as well! Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area- you really can’t beat the price for this very conveniently located home in Culpepper!

    Christina2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely little bungalow for a getaway! Amazing style, fully equipped for cooking and SO cozy. The proximity to the main street in town is wonderful, too, for visiting all the shops, restaurants and breweries. Hiking in Shenandoah is also easily accessible. Thanks Eric for curating such a great space!

    Breanne2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved staying in this house. It was extremely clean and so cute inside, and the price was great for everything Eric provided. Check in was very easy and he did a great job of providing details and answering questions quickly when we had them. The location is also great; the town and many restaurants and shops that are super close by and accessible, and it’s a pretty short drive to many hiking trails. I definitely would book this house again if I decided to come back to Shenandoah for more hiking.

  • Lorene & Larry were exceptional hosts. The home was clean and as pictured! The property is magnificent. I wish we had more time to wonder. Next time! We stayed at the tail end of a long road trip and felt right at home. We day tripped to D.C., it was an easy one hour in one hour out commute! It is close to the Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns (highly recommend) and a whole bunch of wineries! I had no idea that Virgina is a wine growing state. It is! We have already started discussing a trip back to stay again!

Welcome to our Tiny Home located on 3 acres in rural Fredericksburg. We have plenty of woods, a pond, and a Private outdoor pavilion just for the Tiny House. Only 13 minutes from restaurants and shopping, free wifi, and an amazing outdoor fire pit. The Tiny House has all the amenities of home...to include full kitchen, bathroom with shower and all the hot water you want! lol
THE PROPERTY Welcome to our 3 acre mini homestead (well, we’re in the process of making it a homestead....animals to come in spring of 2020...yaaay!) we are located in a more rural area of Virginia, so all our neighbors have 3+ acre properties. This does mean you will feel pretty secluded and have your privacy, but will still be able to see neighboring homes, especially in the fall and winter when all the leaves have fallen. However we are only a short drive of 8 miles, 13 minutes to town with plenty of restaurants and shopping. We are also only a 16 minute drive to the 95 in Fredericksburg. The property currently has a 4 bedroom cabin located on it which is where the Host lives. We have a small pond on the property with a rope swing and ducks coming in the spring! :) (Please read all of this description before making a reservation request.) The cozy and clean Tiny Home has a semi-bohemian feel as you walk up the stairs and enter through the digitally controlled doorway. The entire home is brand new and completed in October 2019, so the space is extra crisp. To your left you’ll see the lounge area with plenty of seating and even has a small pul out section in the middle for an extra sleeping area if needed. We also have FREE wireless internet and ROKU TV for a cozy movie during your stay. Straight ahead you’ll find the storage closet with shelf and place to hang your clothes. there’s also an outlet under the shelf. To the right you’ll see the small breakfast nook, kitchen, bathroom, and stairs leading to the loft bedroom. BREAKFAST NOOK/WORKSPACE - our cute little breakfast nook has seating for two with storage underneath and an easily accessible power outlet for your laptops. KITCHEN - our fully functional kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals with your family. It’s complete with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, and all the utensils you’ll need. And YES, we have a wine opener. :) BATHROOM - you’ll enjoy taking showers in our clean and bright bathroom with a never-ending supply of hot water thanks to our on demand hot water system! We have also supplied you with the basics for soap and shampoo, and plenty of towels and washcloths. COMPOSTING TOILET - The Villa 9215 is newly released for market in 2018. It is the most advanced, trouble free composting toilet available for on grid or off-grid living. It is waterless and urine diverting. This means that is separates the solid waste from the liquid waste. This model also features a constantly running internal fan that ventilates the toilet outside. A common misconception is that composting toilets have a repelling odor. But in fact, once people actually use our composting toilet, they say that it is MORE odorless than a regular flush toilet. This is due to the advanced design of the toilet and the continuous running exhaust fan. THE LOFT - up the stairs you’ll find our comfy Queen sized bed with plenty of pillows. We provide clean sheets and pillow cases. Plenty of blankets are also provided. OUTDOOR PAVILION - one of our favorite part of the tiny home is the Outdoor Pavilion! Here you’ll find a comfy day bed with plenty of pillows and a comfy blanket for those cool nights by the fire. We also have a small outdoor table with two chairs. Plenty of string lights for the perfect ambiance, and we certainly can’t forget the fire pit to round out a perfect night at our Tiny Home. We also provide a small propane grill for the grill-masters in the family.
See pictures for nearby wineries, breweries and parks. There are over 30 wineries and breweries within 45 minutes of the tiny house, with many less than 20 minutes drive. Restaurants and shopping 13 minutes drive away. I-95 is only 16 minutes away.
  • Ryan’s place is perfect if you’re looking for a modern cozy tiny home get away! It was our first time staying in a tiny home, and we quickly got used to it’s size. But I will add that me and my boyfriend don’t feel uncomfortable in confined spaces. I actually enjoyed the small little upstairs bedroom with the streaming lights surrounding. Check-in and check-out procedures were easy and convenient. The place was clean and the toilet was easy to use and odorless. I would definitely recommend this tiny home!

    Caitlin2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny home is cozy, roomy, and a total gem of a place to stay. It was a perfect place to bring my retreat. I brought women from all different lifestyles together for a deep meditation intensive weekend. Every one of them had their eyes light up when we arrived. The surrounding areas, lake, and woods created a serene experience. The tiny home had plenty of room and helped create a healing space for our work. We had a relaxing fire at night and enjoyed the hammocks as well. Ryan and Rachel were super helpful and provided us everything we needed, including Ryans tour through the space, how things worked, and the surrounding areas. Great hosts! Great space! We will definitely be back!

    Tracy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful stylish place with everything you need to be comfortable. Loved the outdoor fire pit and little pond. Though it was rather closer to other houses than expected, it was a quiet and serene residential rural setting. It was welcoming and cozy inside, but the high ceilings and separate spaces for sleeping, lounging, dining/working, and cooking made it feel spacious. A wonderful stay!

    Melanie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cutest tiny home! A great spot to get away for a bit and enjoy. Very cozy. Lovely details and decorations. Most definitely should check out!

    Genesis 2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute little space! Stairs are a little steep at its pretty easy to bump your head waking up but those are my only complaints. We really loved this little house!

    Jenny2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay! The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive the entire time. I sat outside in the morning with coffee and six geese landed in the pond and played around for about an hour. I also saw a really cool bird (maybe a hawk) hanging out in a tree for a little while. It was nice and relaxing. I look forward to staying again soon.

    Jen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This experience was a unique get away for the night. I particularly liked the large sofa/day bed in the main living area. It was very cozy to watch movies on a cold night. House was spotless and had everything we needed and a bit more!

  • The treehouse was a lifetime experience. It is tiny and a fancy way of camping, beautiful and had everything you need to camp and to stay in a tiny home on the tree. I think it is a very unique place, if you are used to having a fancy comfortable place this is not the place but definitely worth the experience to make anyone's dream to come true when it comes to hang out and spend a night at a treehouse. We loved it.

    Veronica2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place is truly magical and very close to DC! We had an amazing weekend disconnected from the city and it felt like besides the treehouse we had an entire forest for ourselves. Thanks a lot Susan and Vincent for have been amazing hosts! We hope to come back soon.

    Hernando2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Everything you need and nothing you don’t. The treehouse is even cuter and cozier than you’d imagine. It’s so easy to fully relax while lounging on the bed/bench in the bay window, gazing up at the treetops and mountains. The window happens to face East, so enjoy the sunrise, too. The loft slept 4 comfortably, and there’s seating inside and out so you can hang by the fire pit, on the back balcony, or inside near the kitchen nook at the table. If you’re concerned about timing your trip to avoid unfavorable weather, don’t worry! Our trip was during near-freezing weather and the space heater and wall heater kept us warm, and rain showers only made the treehouse cozier. Before the rain we took a hike about a half mile (on level ground) and met up with the Appalachian Trail. The location is convenient off Route 66, but you certainly feel “away from it all.” Highly recommend staying at the treehouse for a unique experience!

Our mountain retreat is close to the Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River, Appalachian Trail, Front Royal and Highway 66. You’ll love the coziness, location, nature and the tranquility. This large space is good for writers, solo adventurers and business travelers.
Our room is spacious and quiet. There is a desk, microwave, refrigerator, futon and coffee table to make you feel comfortable. Storage includes a wardrobe, utility closet, 2 night stands and 2 small rolling cabinets.
The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood on Apple Mountain. There are some steep inclines/declines getting to/from our house to the main road. All of these roads are paved and are easy to traverse. Our community has excellent snow removal if you are planning a winter stay. The last stretch of road leading to our house is gravel and level, as is our driveway which is paved. The Apple House Restaurant is 5 minutes away as are 2 gas stations and a 7-11. It is less than 10 minutes to Front Royal where there is plenty of shopping, restaurants and laundry mats. Our close proximity to 66 makes it easy to get to Winchester or Gainesville. The Shenandoah River and Appalachian Trail are minutes away. The Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away. There are also wineries and orchards 10 minutes away. In short, this where people living in the DC area come to recreate.
  • Mark and Arlene are great hosts. Everything was clean and the house is in a private neighborhood. The room was very comfortable and the shower has hot water. The little extras like the toaster/coffee maker/griddle and the mini fridge only add to the allure of this private mountain apartment. Excellent!

  • Mark and Arlene are great hosts. They even put up black out curtains for this night shift nurse; very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Their home is beautiful and centrally located to most of the hospitals; about 30-35 minutes. I would stay again should I find myself back in the area.

  • Immaculately clean! The entry is very private with a beautiful view of the woods and mountain range. The bed is extremely comfortable; I was able to work nights and sleep peacefully during the day even with close access to the freeway. Mark and Arlene are wonderful hosts and will respond quickly to any questions you may have. Thanks for the great stay!!

    Piper2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Arlene and Mark have been nothing short of truly amazing. This was my first long term stay with Airbnb and I am so glad I got Mark and his wife Arlene as my hosts. From day one they were so accommodating to me, checked on me, communicated so well with me, and have truly made me feel as though I had a home away from home. I can't thank them enough for everything. A great example of their kindness and heart was when there was someone who wanted to stay about 2 weeks longer than me, but check in about 3 days later than me and I had just arrived in town (Winchester) on a Sunday for work to build a Solar PV Farm and I didn't have a place to stay. Mark and Arlene approved me to stay instead as I was already in town and I didn't have a place to stay. They didn't want to leave me without a home and took care of me when they could have opted to take the other guest as they wanted to stay longer and would have made more money. Truly blessed to have come across such great heart felt people and hosts. I will definitely be recommending them if I ever know of anyone who is planning on staying in the area or if I ever return :) On specifics of the place, their home is beautiful and located in the mountains. I love my drive everyday to work because it is such a beautiful site to see the lush green trees and distant mountains as I drive down the mountain. The place you stay in is even better in person than the pictures show. It is really spacious and I love how there is a sliding door access on the side of the house that allows you private access to your room without disturbing anyone and there is a code to get in which is nice because it saves the trouble of potentially losing a key. The space is located at the bottom of the house and to the right of the garage which allows you all the privacy you want if that is what you are looking for. The bed is really comfortable, the bathroom is really nice, and the decorations in the room are beautiful as it illustrates artwork from different places they have traveled. You cannot go wrong with booking this place. Great heart warming and welcoming hosts, a great spacious place, and an outstanding value!!! Again, thank you Mark and Arlene for everything. My stay here will not be forgotten.

This is a quiet rural area. Night time is very dark here, and we like it that way! The stars are amazing on clear nights, we love our dark night sky. There are 2 flashlights in the cabin, headlamps are useful if you want to bring one. Our farm has several short hiking trails, a historic cemetery, and a treehouse. Please remain on our farm trails, and do not enter neighbors' properties. A map is available in the cabin to help you find your way around the trails. Horses, dogs, cats, and chickens are part of Beechwood View Farm. Please do not feed them. Please keep your food items and coolers out of reach, as our dogs and cats are free range on the farm. We also often have wild visitors such as bears, raccoons, and others. The cats and dogs will tell you that they are allowed to come into the cabin, but they are not, please keep them out.
  • The animals are awesome. Do a walk through the paths at the property. Wonder if Fuzzy the cat is really a dog in disguise because of his great personality. Look up at the stars. Check out adorable Culpepper. Find some wineries. Breathe.

  • Great place to stay and enjoy a nice getaway.

    Michael2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was the perfect spot for a little weekend getaway! It was clean and extremely comfortable and cozy. Robin got back to us really quickly and was there to promptly great us when we arrived. A 40 minute drive from Old Rag and other hikes in Shenandoah made it a great spot to stay the night before an adventure. I hope to make it back for another stay some time!

    Rosy2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This little cabin was beyond lovely! Robin was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. The heaters and heated blanket (a dream!) ensured that I never spent a night feeling cold. Would recommend to anyone wanting a little getaway!

    Johana2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time. Unique space. My five year old son loved the animals and swings and treehouse. My husband and I enjoyed the authenticity and and peace and quiet. We hope to return soon.

  • A highly recommend this gorgeous place to stay. Only stayed one night but definitely made us want to stay longer!

    Nicole2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was exactly as advertised and Robin was a perfect host.

    Devon2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny home was perfect for a little mountain escape for an evening after a hike. It was raining so getting to the bathroom was slightly challenging (my partner slipped in the mud lol), but it was completely accurate in the description so just make sure to pack an umbrella if it’s going to rain while you are visiting. It was close to town so we were able to enjoy a cute breakfast in Culpepper which was really nice as well. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

  • Such a nice, cozy space. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed. The space is adorable with thoughtful decorations and the bed was comfortable. We visited in the winter and it was warm inside, but not too hot for sleeping. The bathroom was nice and big and we liked the spacious mudroom and the little couch. Everything was set up for us when we arrived at night and it was really easy to check in and out. We only saw the host once when we needed extra toilet paper and he was really quick to respond!

Me and my Wife are very fun and outgoing people. We love to entertain and have a good time. We do have a very friendly & playful dog on premises but he is blocked off from your area. We are located 5 mins away from Movie Theaters, Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Target, Walmart, etc... There are dozens of Local Wineries in the area. Jiffy Lube Live is also 5 mins away from our place, which is know for having huge concerts. Rt 66 is mins from our residents - Washington DC is 45 mins away.

Sweeping views of Ashby's Gap just minutes away from Upperville and Middleburg, 1 hour outside of DC. Newly renovated with a vintage flair, private and secluded. Ideal weekend get-away for couples, come sample the best the Piedmont has to offer!
One of a kind cabin with breathtaking views sitting overtop of Ashby's Gap. This cabin sits a half mile from the Appalachian Trail. The cabin was built a number of years ago and had been abandoned for over thirty years. A local family bought it and fixed it up with loving and tender care. If you want a quiet, private place to think or relax that is still close to wonderful restaurants, local vineyards, the cute towns of Paris, Upperville and Middleburg and it vibrant historical horse community, this is the place for you.
Secluded location, very private. You are close to the town of Paris with the acclaimed Ashby Inn. You are four miles from Upperville with the cute Hunter's Head Pub and about 11 miles from Middleburg, VA/
  • Had a relaxing visit. The views are breath taking and we loved how the space was styled. We had several fires in the well equipped and large fireplace and soaked in the glorious sounds of silence absent of TV, kids and dogs.

    Judson2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect, every time we stay.

    Stephanie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I returned to this magical retreat to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was everything that we remembered and more. There are not enough words to describe how relaxing it is to unplug and sit by the amazing fireplace. We also had a fabulous time at the Ashby Inn and Delaplane Cellars. We will certainly be back to visit again in the future!

    Ashley2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing mountain views in a cozy but modern space. Great location to explore the many wineries and breweries in the area. Great kitchen for cooking up meals and the fireplace is even bigger and cooler in person!

    Tyler2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing house with spectacular views. Having the opportunity to disconnect for 3 days, sit in front of a fire, cook, and read was so relaxing. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Wonderful getaway.

This generational property is nestled in the beautiful Virginia Shenandoah Valley. Less than an hour's drive from Washington, DC and equidistant to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you can enjoy the peace and serenity of rural Fauquier County, VA. Whether you’re in need of a weekend retreat from the city, on business, or visiting one of the many local tourist destinations, we have small bedroom spaces as well as an entire updated apartment available depending on your needs.
We aren’t just any ol’ AirBnB. We don’t just provide a place to sleep, but a pace to feel carried away and refreshed. My spaces are made with one end in mind – to help people get out of routine and feel restored and alive again. We welcome you to historic Fauquier County, Virginia and whether you’re visiting on business, seeing friends or family, or trying out various local wineries, we want you to feel inspired by local culture while relaxing in our family home of four generations. Fletcherville is a property offering spaces for any occasion. We want to create positive experiences from first impressions to the memories we help create. The house was built my my Great Grandparents in the early 1960’s. I took my first steps in the house, and learned to ride my bike just outside the front porch. We are currently making a lot of major improvements, updating and adding necessary modern amenities to facilitate an intuitive, safe, and business-friendly environment, so please be patient with us. We have a lot of work to do, but in the next few years, we will have an entire house for you to enjoy. The Huntsman's Quarters is a small, moderately-equipped room with two twin-sized beds intended for shorter stays. Guests enter through a private front entrance and enjoy their own bedroom and bathroom with shower. Room appointments include 43" flatscreen 4K UHD smart TV with Apple TV for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video; a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary drinks; Keurig Machine; small microwave and an assortment of snacks, and toiletries as might be needed. If you plan on staying longer, please check out my other Fletcherville ( The Country Cottage) listing that is equipped with kitchen, living, and dining areas - all private for you alone. During the third week of March 2020, this space will be closed for guests as I necessary updates . I am hoping to have more of a space for eating as well as more outdoor seating areas for relaxation. I will provide more details as these changes are made. I am preparing to renovate the crazy (some say nostalgic) pink bathroom. We are looking at June as the month for the update. My elderly mother and grandmother live in the common areas, but your areas are completely separated and sealed off. Your privacy is of utmost importance. Parking is just outside. If you have mobility issues, or any further questions, I respond here promptly.
We are a quiet neighborhood or either young professionals or retirees. I’ve known most of my neighbors for years. People are very friendly - we all look out for one another.
  • We spent a night at Randolph's place while in Warrenton to do a show. My partner and I both absolutely loved staying there. It's quiet, private, and also near enough to downtown. My partner insisted I mention the amenities at Randolph's, which were exceptional both in the bathroom and for morning coffee and snacks. We'll definitely return our next time we have reason to be anywhere near Warrenton. Highly recommended.

    Ken2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • The place was clean and cozy with very nice antique furniture, amazing beds and close to many awesome touristy spots. Very nice area as well. Cute, old small town not too far from Washington.

    Marko2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Randolph's Air B&B was great! It was a perfect set up for my daughter and I traveling to Warrenton for a shower with the twin beds. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable with quality bedding. Coffee/tea and several snacks were nicely presented along w a variety of cold drinks. Private entrance and private bathroom all a nice bonus. All areas were very neat and clean. The house is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Randolph was great with communication and replied promptly when I had a question. I would highly recommend staying here.

Cherry Cabin is close to Linden home to the Apple House. Shenandoah Park, wineries, orchards, Front Royal, horseback riding at Marriott Ranch, canoeing, Luray Caverns, Sky Meadows Park all with in a short drive. You’ll love it because it's a restored old cabin with lots of history tucked away in a very private setting. This is a United Plant Savers botanical Sanctuary managed for the conservation of medicinal plants, in your cabin you will find information about United Plant Savers
This is a restored historic log cabin home in a very private setting. It is rustic but with modern updates. The second story has 2 bedrooms with ceiling fans to keep you cool on warm summer nights. Downstairs in the common area there is a trundle daybed. Nice large deck to enjoy meals when the weather is nice. The property is over 120 acres, with lots of trails to explore, including access to the Appalachian Trail.
On the farm we have several other residents. We ask that you maintain their privacy. In our area we have wonderful places to explore. There are many parks, wineries and farms.
  • What a wonderful break from the city life! Very comfortable little cabin in a stunning setting. Can't wait to see it in Spring or Summer.

    Nathan2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Susan’s place is the perfect cabin if you want to get away from the city. It’s about 15 minutes from Barrel Oak Winery and 10 minutes from others in the area. The cabin was clean when we arrived and loved how quiet it was at night. You wake up to birds chirping and a beautiful sunrise. Communication was quick and flexible. I plan on returning to make it a longer weekend to relax from the busy life of the city. If that’s what you’re looking for, I recommend staying here!

    Daisy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing property! Quiet, secluded, and comfortable--exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Can get a little cold in the winter, though, so bundle up!

    James2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was wonderful and a very nice way to get away for the night. We especially loved seeing the stars on a clear night, the large tub, and using the wood stove.

    Dylan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This stay was amazing. The cabin is a bit rustic but it was perfect for me and anyone trying to get away. No tv, no problems! I loved having a wood stove again and the trail to the Appalachian trailhead is literally at the front doorstep. This place is a dream if you’re looking to disconnect and relax - but yes there is still a strong cell signal so you could Netflix if you really wanted to.

    Chris2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin truly was a dream. An exceptionally gorgeous part of an exceptionally gorgeous part of the country. Vincent was a helpful, kind, and present host!

Our 1930’s Dutch Colonial farmhouse is conveniently located 35 miles from Dulles International Airport. We are located in the heart of northern Virginia wine region, which is 48 miles to world class cultural centers and fine dining the Washington DC area has to offer and 40 miles to the Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive enjoying the beautiful outdoors with hiking, cycling, kayaking, rafting and scenic mountain vistas.
Guests have access to the living room, kitchen (see house rules), shared upstairs bathroom, and the outside and porch. Please note, we decorate our home both outside and inside, throughout the year. And they are fantastic and for everyone to enjoy.
Just a short walk down the road gets you to the Warrenton Greenway Trail, which takes walkers, joggers, bicyclists and families directly into the Old Town Warrenton streets lined with historic houses, businesses and brick sidewalks. Here you drop in to a yoga class, take the Wine Trolly Tour, attend a street festival or farmers market, rent a bicycle or even take a pottery or painting class!

My mountainside home is an architectural gem, bathed in light, with views of nature from every angle and floor. Sitting at the northern end of the Shenandoah range on 5 acres of meadows and trees, it is just 65 miles from downtown D.C. A swimming lake, the Appalachian trail, Virginia wineries, antique shops, restaurants, Skyline Drive, and Shenandoah National Park are all a short drive away. The property’s outdoor amenities (hot tub, hammock, and porches) will invite you to sit and relax.
Nicknamed "tower house" by the neighbors, this 1400 square foot home was designed by an architect from an award-winning Bethesda, MD firm. It offers an open floor plan and tree house aspects, with separate semi-private spaces to sleep and lounge. If you are a larger group, make sure all members are comfortable with the open flow. The entry level features a great room with living, dining and kitchen spaces. The main bedroom above looks out to the trees and has a curved loft-style railing and view of some of the floor below. The top-most floor has a sitting room/bedroom with desk and European-style (read: modern and efficient) bathroom. It also has a viewing room with extraordinary floor-to-ceiling views. Each of these two rooms has a sleeper sofa, and the viewing room has plenty of seating for your group and can be shut off for privacy on cooler nights. There are definitely spaces to which you can escape and hole away.
At the bottom of Zinn Way there is a 5 acre community fresh water lake with a dock and small beach (take a right out of the driveway and head downhill for a quarter mile - stay to your left). The water is clean and cool. It's for the residents of the homeowners association, and if you say you're guests of John and Yvette, who live in the Tower House at 213 Zinn Way, you'll be fine.
  • I absolutely loved my stay. If I weren't moving across the country I'd definitely try booking another stay. The house is perfectly situated with gorgeous views. There are neighbors but even with the bare trees the only neighbors I saw were the deer eating the grass in the yard. The hosts and their home were very welcoming. They were very responsive and communicated well. I highly recommend.

    Jennifer2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Dazzling views, quiet retreat, we absolutely loved it. Welcoming and responsive host. Highly recommend!

    Christina2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • John’s place is wonderful. The view from the top floor is impossible to capture in photos but trust me, it’s worth it; we spent both our evenings watching the sunset and many other hours in this room. The rest of the house is super nice: great bed, fully stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, and many other nice amenities. The only downside of our entire stay was the hot tub was at 52 degrees when we arrived, but luckily the temperature was up to 95 but the net morning and it was not an issue. The house is up a pretty steep dirt road and we were happy to have our AWD vehicle with us. We were within 30 minutes of several hikes and some great breweries/vineyards. Front Royal is about 20 minutes away and has a cute downtown and some good restaurants. Overall, great stay and highly recommend!

    Kayla2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • John's place is very nice and unique. Was a very relaxing weekend. He went way out of his way to make it a special weekend for me and my fiance. Thanks again john

  • The *NEW* Luxury Mountain Chalet, Tiki Bar was lovely. The views are gorgeous, we had striking sunsets each evening. The area is very quiet and private, but easy drive to Winchester, Front Royal and other active areas. Logan was quick to respond prior to the trip as well as during our visit. Check-in and check-out were simple. This house would be great for a family or 2 - 3 couples. We loved the fireplace and the deck. The great room was cozy with the fire, and the downstairs great room has comfortable recliners and TV (plus the infamous Tiki bar). Highly recommend. We can't wait to go back, and bring our friends the next time.

  • Lovely home with such a warm feel. The beds were super comfortable with tons of extra linens available. Lots of amenities, like coffee and kitchen appliances provided. The piano was probably our favorite part (: Be sure you ask how to lock the doors as they only use a lock pad - seems pretty simple but, better safe than sorry! Thanks Ying!

  • Jeannie and Adam were very welcoming, we didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the house as we had to help family move into a new home. They made us feel so at home even when we weren’t really around! They seem so knowledgeable and passionate about their vegan life style! We got to talk a little about our mutual interests in the outdoors. We can’t wait to stay again and continue our chat! The home is so warm/inviting, I felt like I was staying with friends more than an AirBNB. 10/10 would recommend anytime, but specifically if you want to sit and talk with some new and inviting people.

    Aubree2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great value for the price. Clean, and in between DC and Shenandoah. Jeannie was very nice and communicative. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Ronalds place was very convenient to Dulles Airport and the price was excellent. He accommodated a very late check in and I had wished we had gotten to talk a little but everyone went to bed including us. The room was freshly cleaned, spotless and the bed was comfortable.

The bedroom features linens, pillows, and french doors that open to a view of Goose Creek. The bathroom has been upgraded to a walk-in shower and there is a tub available if you prefer a bath. Red Fox Inn and Tavern established in 1728 is a landmark offering hearty meals in an historic tavern setting.
  • It was amazing! The pictures absolutely do the place justice! I wish we had been able to stay longer and enjoy it more! We definitely plan to visit again with warmer weather and green leaves!

  • This cottage is a true country gem! A lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of DC living.

  • 100% ACCURATE photos and description. Awesome home and location! Jeff’s home was extremely clean, with all modern comforts and conveniences, plus the AMAZING VIEW! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit...

    Ian2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is truly a gem. The photos are beautiful but don’t truly do it justice. The location is serene, the view of the creek is lovely, and it’s only a few minutes away from downtown Middleburg. The cottage is incredibly clean, stylish, and functional. Jeff was a very responsive and thoughtful host. I would give this location more than five stars if I could, and I will definitely be back!

    Elisabeth2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely gorgeous views of the creek from huge picture windows.! Beautifully Updated cabin in the heart of everything. Great host!

    Melise2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Just a quick drive to Middleburg and many of the food and restaurants it has to offer. The cottege was clean and offered nice amenities. I recommend Jeff's place to anyone who is looking for a nice getaway that feels secluded, but is conveniently located to many of the great things Middleburg and the surrounding towns have to offer.

    Matthew2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect weekend getaway location! Spotless, cozy, and close to town. We even saw a few bald eagles fly through the backyard! Jeff and his wife added simple touches, including fresh flowers, to make us really feel at home. We will definitely be back!

  • Not sure what happened in December, but Adam and Jeannie have a beautiful house that's fashionably decorated. The rooms are modern with an old house flair & country charm, beds are extremely comfy, and the upstairs shared space is spacious and quiet with zoned heating. There's an espresso machine for morning coffee drinkers. The house is on a hill near old-town Warrenton Main St., and there's an outdoor patio area. This is my second time staying there; I like it so much.
