There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Everything is clean and tidy, but there is no expensive furniture, and some things are not perfect. I live here and I'm very happy. PLEASE NOTE: if you require two bedrooms, please say this in your message. I do not know if people travelling together are couples or friends. YOU ARE RENTING A ROOM, THE KITCHEN IS NOT AVAILABLE UNLESS YOU REQUEST IT, AND THEN THERE IS A $5 FEE PAYABLE DIRECTLY TO ME THE KITCHEN IS NOT AVAILABLE AFTER 7.30 PM.
Low budget with a focus on cleanliness and a relaxing environment. Most of the furniture is recycled. Most people are very happy here. It is my home, so please don't come if you are used to perfection. I am a happy, cheerful, loving person who makes the most of everything in life. I ONLY associate with like minded people. I have a cat and a dog, both are very precious to me. If they will be an issue, please make other arrangements for your accommodation. Sometimes I have visitors and they use my other spare room. My visitors are precious people and they will always be gracious. There is a cot and a child's bed available. I'm only too happy to be helpful and accommodating, please don't leave negative reviews if you expect to abuse my hospitality. Pets are welcome, with a $10 surcharge for the extra cleaning. THERE IS ALSO A $5 FEE FOR USING THE KITCHEN. I AM NOT A WEALTHY PERSON, AND I CANNOT AFFORD FOR PEOPLE TO NOT PAY FOR WHAT THEY USE. If you aren’t a genuine Airbnb client and are reading this just to “check up” on me or to be a busybody - remember - that’s called “STALKING” which is illegal.
The Little Desert is 5 km away. It has very interesting flora, fauna and geological features. The Wimmera River is a short walk away. There are kookaburras and rosellas. Picnics to the Little Desert can be arranged. Please message me to organise a trip tailor made for you.

  • Suz's place is a well kept farm house type place. The big house has been divided to cater for AirBNB guests. Very comfy and well kept. No stove but micro wave and hot water kettle is there. Large lounge , very well kept flower garden makes this a nice place to stay. It away from the main road , so no noise to bother you. Its got central heating and cooling with the controls in Suz's area. Loved it.

Rob is very friendly and full of knowledge and stories. It's worthwhile to walk around the property and see the hut replica and story behind the name of the place. Also cool to see some interesting farm animals. Perfect getaway from town.

  • Awesome place, great hosts, beautiful place, amazing breakfast. Serene scenery and area. Bow, the elderly dog ended up spending the night with us haha! Pet friendly such a bonus as Toby could come too. Highly recommended! Plenty of local history. Lots of animals, Toby enjoyed chasing the ducks but didn't enjoy the lama trying to squash him haha! Perfect for a rest if driving long distances. We only wish we stayed longer!

  • Great place - stayed lots of times and very happy with the studio and Erin’s flexibility.

    Scott2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Urban Oasis is a unique, modern and beautifully designed self contained apartment. Erin has thought out the place beautifully, and the stay was relaxing. Such a shame we didn't get to use the pool and al fresco, but a wonderful surprise, none the less

    Darren2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little space. All you could need. Stylishly decorated, close to restaurants and pubs. Toast and cereal were nice touches. Thanks Erin. We’ll be back!

    Catherine2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The room is very stylish and the bed is soooo comfortable. There is a kettle, toaster, microwave and small electric cooktop. Crockery and glasses and breakfast basics (bread, cereal, tea, milk, butter) are supplied. We enjoyed having access to the outdoor entertainment/BBQ area. The apartment is a little further from the town centre than we thought but it is only about a 30 minute stroll along the river to get there. Had a great coffee at Nourish’d Cafe.

    Tess2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, wonderful facilities

    Paul2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • From the ment we drove in and opened the door the space took us away from the real world! It is modern, stylishly decorated all creating a large enough space to relax and create a comfy base for exploring a super little town of Horsham. The versatility of the open outdoor kitchen and pool is such an added bonus and creates a tranquil environment. The studio has everything you need including breakfast cereals and the most comfortable bed it was like sleeping on a cloud. Location right near river so plenty of beautiful walks. Erin is so accommodating and flexible even offered to post items I forgot! Don't pass up this Horsham gem

  • We stayed for a night but it won’t be our last night there, that is for sure! What a lovely cottage and warm friendly hosts too complete with a cutie of a dog that lives by the back door. I’d go back to stay just for the dog alone😘 Beautiful furnishings of yesteryear and a super comfy big bed (I wanted to take the bed AND the dog home with me lol) If you go and stay please give the dog some yummy food and lots of cuddles cause she is a lovely gentle old dog who never barks. We were not disappointed with this accomodation and can heartily recommend it to anyone (we had our dog with us who also enjoyed the stay) Well done to Denise and Rob 5 out of 5 stars

  • Wendys retreat is a wonderful place to stay. So friendly and welcoming. You will get a 5 star treatment. If you order the evening meal you will also have a delicious dinner. Wendy is a great cook! Both the adults and the kids loved the food. The pool make the stay even more luxuries and the quality of the beds together with soft bathrobes for the kids made the stay feel more like a spa then just an ordinarie Airbnb place. To top this, the breakfast was also delicious. Wendy made great omeletts with local vegetables, garden herbs and the coffee was the best I've tasted in all my time in Australia. And the fresh fruits afterwards were amazing. This is the best airbnb place we have visit by far. We have only superlative to give to Wendy for here wonderful place. The children loved to feed the sheep and chickens and to pick fresh eggs. We also hade the opportunity to run at the Nhill's parkrun and meet so nice local peoples. If you want an experience over the average. You have to visit this pearl on the road back from Melbourne from Adelaide.

    Jonas2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very pleasant to stay with Wendy. Perfect stop over between Melbourne - Adelaide. Nice bedrooms, comfy beds and all the amenities you could need. Having everything available at the house for our 1 year old was amazing too.

  • A really nice place run by a fabulous host! Sparkling clean and the food is excellent! Ideally located for a stay over when on a road trip between Melbourne and Adelaide.

    Suzanne2019-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • We stopped here to allow our baby an overnight rest while driving from Melbourne to Adelaide. We weren't expecting to enjoy our stay so much. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious, clean and with comfortable beds. The most outstanding aspect is Wendy's hospitality - breakfast was delicious and worthy of a gourmet restaurant and she is a kind and generous host. We will stop here every year!

    Leney2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • An absolute pleasant experience staying at Wendy's Retreat. The rooms are sparkling clean. The beds are super comfortable. Wendy is such a great host. She replied our questions timely, cooked yummy breakfast for us, showed us her animal friends and made us feel like being at home. We very much enjoyed the moments we spent there. Highly recommend.

    Kelly2019-10-06T00:00:00Z

  • Virginias lives in the Australian countryside on a farm 5 minutes drive from the provincial town of Horsham, easy to find but at night you need a GPS. The farm is surrounded by a good maintained large garden and Virginias will be happy to give you a tour. And what you may expect from a farmhouse: the living space is generous. A spacious well equipped eat-in kitchen, a spacious sleeping room with two comfortable single beds with at the end of the (shared) hallway a large modern and equiped and neat bathroom (two fountains, a bathtub and a separate shower room). There is a separate toilet in the hallway. There is a cozy covered sitting area outside in the garden. Everywhere is Wifi. Very good value for your money. Verginias and her hardworking husband John are very welcoming.

    Laura2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • This little slice of middle of nowhere paradise is ideal for a getaway. My partner and I just wanted a random weekend out of town. Exored the grampians and wineries. Cooked a bbq at the log cabin with a couple wines. Was amazing. Best part was that we spent our time being present with eachother because this place has that old school vibe about it. Put your phones down and enjoy the place. Definitely recommend.

    Thomas2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Quirky with a capital Q. The interior and exterior collection of objects is initially overwhelming but on closer inspection you can see the care and judgement that has gone into selection. The same care has been applied to the hospitality offer. Worth going out of the way to stay here.

  • Great place for weekend getaway.

  • Lisa is so friendly, lovely and hospitable! Her place and room is super clean, and the bed is very comfortable. We were travelling back to Melbourne from Adelaide and had our bicycles with us. She was very kind in keeping our bikes securely locked away in the shed/garage for the night. We only spent a night (stop over), however, the location is perfect for rock climbing/hiking/cycling around Grampians or Mt Arapiles. Highly recommend Lisa's place!

Part renovated so some rooms are not totally finished but has two comfortable bedrooms, country kitchen & bathroom This is a REAL country house rescue mission so please keep your expectations on that level. It is not complete & has issues like dropped floor (lounge) & cracked but stable brickwork & plaster. Open fire is in an un-renovated lounge area. If you want to use this area understand "un-renovated" 5-10 minute walk to Pub, town & River Late 6pm check out Sleep in on Sunday!
Restoring a country house back to a much loved space. It’s a work in progress but very comfortable. Floors are squeaky, plaster is cracked but it’s warm, dry & has super comfortable beds & a cupboard full of games to play Luxury touches in a rustic setting are high end natural fibre bedding: 100% French flax/linen or pure 100% cotton 500+ thread count sheets. Large 100% Turkish cotton flat weave towels & wool or feather/down Doona/Duvets. Coffee machine, microwave, small electric oven with 2 electric elements to cook on, toaster & kettle. Tea & coffee provided. Pets are allowed to stay at this property & there are a range of woollen blankets that you can cover the beds or furniture with for your doggos, please be aware that the woollen blankets onsite will contain pet hair. BBQ & portable air conditioning available **a couple of guests have been concerned about the lounge area with its largish cracks in the brickwork & plaster, the house has been through several severe drought years & although it has shifted, it is structurally sound (not moving or falling). It’s 95 years old & isn’t going anywhere soon. It has been checked by a builder. Please be aware of this when booking or reviewing. This is a fun, rustic, convenient & appropriately priced house, if you like things a bit rustic & a bit of an adventure then this is for you. If you want a 5 star new building or hotel type accommodations then it isn’t for you.

  • We had a lovely two night rest at Dee’s place in Dimboola. The house is exactly as Dee describes and it certainly has its charms. We were very comfortable here. Dimboola is an old town between Adelaide and Melbourne and perfect to break the journey by road. We had a great early morning walk at the Wimmera river, just a short walk from the house. The bird life was impressive. Thank you Dee for your hospitality. Best wishes for the house project.

  • I have just finished staying a week at Dee's house. I found it very homely, comfortable, & the bed I slept in was very comfortable. All the things you needed were there even a good assortment of games. What made it even better was I was able to have my dog, Henry with me. Thanks again Dee.

  • This place is fast becoming a home away from home for us as working professionals who also like to go climbing on the weekend but still need space to work in the evenings, and love the convenience of not having to set up a campsite for one night. Always comfy & clean, easy check in and so convenient 😊

  • Such a gem of a place, and Sharon is a legend. Such a cool spot for a night away with a partner or a group of friends. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!

    Caitlin2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very special and memorable one night stay! We arrived from Adelaide that night and it was almost twelve in the middle of the night, but the landlord's wife still communicated with our real-time location online at any time. When I was about to arrive, I was guided into a wild road by Apple Navigation and stuck in the soft sand. I could n’t push it out for a long time. I asked the landlord to respond quickly, came to the car to rescue, and finally successfully checked into the tent. The galaxy was really close to us that night, and we looked up tiredly to see that the galaxy was at hand, and the silver core was so low as to reach out our hand. You can touch it, it's so shocking! Definitely closer than the Milky Way seen by the New Zealand Good Shepherd! There are no people in the area of five kilometers. I can only hear the footsteps of various small animals and the frog songbirds lying in the tent. The washing area is the old stable in Figure 1. There is no ceiling. !! !! !! To sum it up ... One night the kid is happy and the old man is bitter. The kid can feed the horse and catch the sheep and chase the wild ducks. My mother can't stand it because I'm afraid those ants who are big enough to look at you hahahahahahaha wife will be with you Make a reservation for the next morning's food delivery. It's really nice to eat in the sun by the river! Highly recommend !!

  • Sharon was an amazing host and went above and beyond to accommodate my partner and I, along with catering options. It was very relaxing and romantic night. The outdoor bath for the sunset was incredible.

  • Amazing first time glamping experience. The tents are beautiful and stylish with a super comfy bed! Sharon and Lofty were friendly and welcoming. Thanks!

  • A quick decision “stopover” on our Melbourne-Adelaide road trip turned out to be one of the highlights. What an amazing Australian bush experience “glamping” by the billabong under the stars. A friendly pat with the horses, pizza delivery, a magical sunset and generous breakfast made this a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Sharon, we hope to return again one day.

    Hayley2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • AMAZING stay! If you're looking for a slice of heaven - some nature and some luxury - this is the place to come. Sharon's hospitality and delicious breakfast were warm and homey. The bell tents are set up on a sweet pond, the bird life is vibrant, and the property well kept and easy to stroll around. I highly recommend Nhillbilly Farm and look forward to coming back for a longer stay next time!

    Basha2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nhillbilly Farm was a fun experience for our family. Everything is all set up and easy. Lovely spacious bell tents, comfy beds and a very cool outdoor shower/bath area. There’s even an old horse float that has been converted to a little kitchenette. Sharon was a great host, good communication and she makes delicious pizzas! There’s a nice little dam and sitting outside listening to the birds with a glass of wine sure beats staying at a sad motel on the way to Adelaide. It’s definitely different but if you like the outdoors it’s a great place to stay.

The Shack is an owner-built, self-contained rural retreat – rustic and homely. Situated on private property on the Wimmera River, only 5 minutes from Horsham, this 2-bedroomed cottage offers panoramic views of farm paddocks, dams, gum trees and the Grampians.
  • Loved our stay at The Shack. It was clean, rustic, comfy and serene. We did a stunning walk following the river that curls around the property - so many magnificent gnarly old gum trees. Loved hearing all the kookaburras and magpies from The Shack and eating our brekkie on the cute front veranda. Thanks, Buffy, for the eggs and milk, and for having us to stay. Would definitely return.

    Joanne2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Buffy's, hope to be back! Thanks!!

    Barbara2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stopover at The Shack on the way to SA very much. Buffy and Graeme have made a very welcoming and cosy space. Be sure to read the history of The Shack. We had cows greeting us at the fence and there is a great walk around the property to enjoy via a suspension bridge. Kids (and adults) will love it! Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. And being pet friendly was super convenient. Would recommend for something a bit different.

    Mandy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Shack is beautiful of all sorts. we arrived late & dark and was immensely surprised at the surrounding views first thing the next morning. my partner & i enjoyed our walks around the property, stargazing at night, the peaceful sounds of nature and wildlife. we're entirely satisfied and happy with our stay at The Shack ♥️

    Amina2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The absolutely ideal place to stay if you're looking for country charm with glorious serenity. The view out the windows and from the deck is so beautiful, the little details throughout the shack are so homely and sweet, the owners are lovely and considerate. We'll be back for sure.

    Kerryn2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Shack is a gorgeous little cabin overlooking the farm. It was perfect for our needs - three friends meeting halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne for a doggo holiday! Our four dogs had an absolute blast running around and investigating the cows and alpacas (from a safe distance / behind the fence!) The cottage had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated with rustic charm. It’s clear that Buffy and her family chose every part of it with care and love. The fresh milk was my favourite part (I drink litres of milk a day!) so I very much enjoyed seeing that in the fridge!

    Caitlin2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Buffy’s ‘Shack’ is a loverly, light, airy, rustic-looking-but-wonderfully-comfy off the beaten track retreat. Buffy and Graham are super-friendly hosts. Easy access to everything Wimmera. Early morning and evening walks by the river are a treat.

  • Oh the serenity. We absolutely loved this place. We booked as a stopover for one night on the way back from Mildura but wished we had booked for longer. We immediately felt at home in this wonderfully, eclectic space with its uninterrupted views of the land and the absolute silence.

Home with some old-world charm, situated in a peaceful area close to hospital, river and shops. Great opportunity for a professional person or couple to enjoy an entire home during their Horsham stay. Stretch your legs in the garden or enjoy sitting out on the front or back verandahs.
Let's be clear - we are in the process of updating and adding delights to our Horsham home, but hopefully you'll find your basics to hand. If you are looking for modern surfaces and chic decor, our home is probably not for you :) One thing not currently available in the home is an oven - there are hotplates and a large convection microwave..but no oven! Gas heating for warmth and evaporative cooling for those hotter Horsham days. WIFI to keep you connected.
Home is in a quiet neighbourhood in the hospital precinct. Short walk to the Wimmera river and shopping centre.
  • This is a really great option for a 1 bedroom experience in a whole house. It is spacious, clean, tidy, light & very welcoming. The host is lovely, responsive & accommodating. We will definitely stay there again if we’re back in Horsham.

  • This house was bigger than I realised I had booked, which was a terrific surprise. The supplied food, all the utensils and cooking bits and pieces were all provided. It was so well stocked I thought I was intruding in someone else's space. Communication was quick and friendly. It's a very simple property that could do with some TLC but honestly, I had all I needed and nothing I didn't. Thanks for having me.

    Meg2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We very much enjoyed our stay at Megan's place. It is very stylish, a bit like a time-capsule into the 50', very clean, comfortable and with all modern necessities (internet, cooling, fridge, cooking etc). We also appreciated some thoughtful touches, some food food provided for the guests for an easy breakfast etc. Great location to access places around Horsham and within the town.

    Jarek2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Megan’s place is fantastic! Spacious, retro, spotlessly clean, super comfy bed. The photos don’t do it justice. So glad I chose to stay here instead of a cheap motel room. Megan’s personal touches were much appreciated, including toiletries and a fully stocked fridge. I enjoyed the waffles, what a treat! Highly recommend Megan’s house if you’re visiting Horsham.

    Alison2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Megan's place was fantastic, very clean and spacious and a throw back to a bygone era. We felt like we had visited grandma's impeccable house, but with some modern touches. We felt very welcome, with plenty of food in the fridge as well as a variety of breakfast cereals. Highly recommended.

    Harvey2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Megan’s place was fabulous, with all the amenities you need and a fully stocked pantry and fridge. Great value for money and a generous and helpful host who let us extent our time twice to help us out when we struck car troubles! Could not recommend more highly

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Megan's place, it is comfortable, clean, in the perfect location and Megan's extra touch's such as treats and breakfast supplies were above and beyond. Located on the outskirts of town, situated on 10 acres, this is your home away from home. Cute and cosy, pet and child friendly, Helen's place is a handy spot to stay while you explore the Grampians, Mt Arapiles, the Wimmera River or the Silo Art Trail or on your journey between capital cities. Please advise upon booking whether you are planning on bringing your pet along for your stay.
Lovely three-bedroom house that really feels like a home. The property is spacious, adjoining onto three separate paddocks. If you're lucky you may even see the cheeky sheep pop their head over for a pat! An easy-to-access home, with ample parking and a 2km walk into the centre of town. If the oranges and lemons are in season, you are more than welcome to help yourself. The house has air-conditioning and two different heating sources: a wood fire and a split system. Lounge around on the beautiful big couches, sit out on the verandah and enjoy the fresh air, or head down for walk along the Wimmera river just under a km away. The master bedroom contains a queen-sized bed, the second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom is a bunk bed inclusive of a double bed and a single. All bedrooms have ample hanging space to really help you feel at home. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and cookware for all your cooking needs. A flatscreen TV, DVDs, books and board games are in the lounge for your enjoyment. Please note, there is no wifi at the property. Towels and linen, shampoo, conditioner and soaps included. Supplied firewood for those chilly winter nights. Pets are welcome – well-behaved pets allowed inside, but not on the furniture. Outside, being a rural property, please note there are rural fences and we would recommend keeping your pets leashed outside if they are likely to wander. We do have a 4x6 meter fully-fenced dog yard and a comfortable kennel if your doggo cannot be trusted indoors on their own... Don't worry, we've all had one of those! :)
  • Nice, cosy little house with plenty of space to sleep and relax. The house is at the edge of Horsham but an easy drive into town. It is on the main road by the railway but things quieten down at night and we didn't have any issues sleeping. A great place to stay as a group!

Our new house was completed in Novemeber 2017 and is located in a lovely country town and in the middle of the Yarriambiack Shire Silo Art Trail.
Your room is at the front of the house, and is purpose built with a queensize bed, an ensuite and a small, private sitting room. Because it is a new house the 'garden' is definitely a work in progress...
The house is about 5 minutes walk from the main street, with easy access to supermerkets and all the town amenities. There's cafes, pubs and plenty of antiques and collectibles shops to while away the time. One of the highlights of Warracknabeal is the Ladies Restrooms on the main street to the right of the Tourist Information Centre. It celebrated its 90 birthday in 2017 and is maintained in the true, old fashioned meaning of a 'Restroom'. There is a large room with sofas and chairs if you want a place to have a sit down and a chat, and a baby change room. These areas are open to men to have a look , but the toilet area and little garden at the back are strictly women only.
  • A great little stop over when doing the Silo Art Trail. Eileen & Walter are so friendly, and generous with their time & hospitality. The BnB is in a wide, quiet street with a bedroom, en-suite & seating area inside & out. They were wonderful hosts, offering a cup of tea on arrival, a welcoming chat about the area, and then shared a glass of wine with us in the evening. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower had terrific pressure & everything was well thought through. We would recommend staying here if you’d like a warm home away from home experience. Thank you, Eileen, Walter & Nala (the gentle Lab). 😊

    Lyse2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Another fantastic stay with Walter and Eileen. They are incredible hosts with a great home.

  • This property is perfect for a couple. With a really comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with everything supplied, a private seating area and a fantastic breakfast. The hosts Walter and Eileen are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend giving this property a try 😁

    Fiona2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect wonderful hospitality from a delightful couple. The room and facilities are very clean and comfortable...and certainly surpassed my expectations. An enjoyable and peaceful evening after a big drive and jam packed Silo Art trail touring.

    Jane2019-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Eileen and Walter are wonderful hosts. They are friendly and welcoming and make you feel right at home. The bed is super comfortable, haven’t slept so good when away from home. Highly recommended

    Lyndsey2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Walter and Eileen's place is impeccable. Just 2 years old and designed to be a BnB. Extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast is generous. Close to the centre of town Scott street. The hosts are very interesting and hospitable yet allow you your space. I will be going back some time.

    Malcolm2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • a wonderful welcome and care as well as excellent accommodation.

    Alastair2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Eileen and Walter are amazing hosts. They made us feel right at home. Everything was first class - the property is very new, super clean, and very well appointed in a very convenient location. Amazing breakfast spread. Above and beyond. Great conversations were had every day/night. There's nothing more we can wish for. Would stay with Eileen and Walter again in a heartbeat if we are heading in that direction in future. Heartfelt thank you.

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Andrea's place, better than I expected. The house is much nicer than the photos make it look. Would definitely recommend to others.

    Damien2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • It's easy to see why Andrea is a superhost. The place is actually much nicer than it appears in photos - the place is spotless! We ended up arriving much later than anticipated due to a severe thunderstorm that blew out our travel time. The place was just what we needed to rest our weary souls. Andrea was very accommodating and turned the air con on prior to our arrival and let us have a later checkout.

The Nati House is cosy, homely accommodation situated right in the heart of the township of Natimuk. Kitchen, loungeroom, dining room, toilet/laundry along with a covered outdoor area and a huge backyard.
The Nati House definitely has a great, homely feel about it. Short or long term options available. It may not be the Taj Mahal but it has everything you need. PLEASE NOTE: THE NATI HOUSE IS AN OLD COTTAGE, IT IS NOT NEW AND SHINY. AS NOTED IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND IS COMFORTABLE, BUT IF YOU ARE WANTING A MODERN RESIDENCE THE HOUSE MAY NOT SUIT YOUR EXPECTATIONS, CHEERS :-) Only 10kms to the world famous rockclimbing destination of Mt Arapiles. Basic services in the Natimuk township include, post office, milk bar, hotel and The Natimuk Cafe. Great playground and community park area - The Verj. And a mere 20 mins to the bigger town of Horsham which has everything you might need for an extended stay.
Natimuk is a small town of approx 500 people. A great mix of rural generations, climbers and artists. It has a welcoming pub, a funky cafe, milk bar, post office. At various times during the year, there are art and community events on. Very importantly, Natimuk is the town next to Mt Arapiles - the world renowned rockclimbing area.
  • What a lovely, cosy place! We stayed here while traveling between Melbourne and Adelaide and we're planning to go back and spend more time. It's a gorgeous space, comfortable, peaceful and practical. The kitchen is awesome, the beds are fantastic, and the overall feel of the place is just so charming! Tracey is an amazing host, very welcoming and accommodating.

  • Natimuk House is located a 10min drive from Arapiles. Really comfy house with lots of character and all the amenities you need. Tracey was very responsive with her comms. We'll be back.

    Daniel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Tracey's place while we were on work placement, and it was one of the highlights of our stay in Natimuk. The house itself was warm and inviting, with lots of homey touches that make you feel like you are staying in an actual home, and not your stock standard hotel room. All amenities supplied including towels, shampoo and conditioner and cooking utensils, etc. if you wish to cook (great meals at the pub as well). The house is on a pretty large block, full of lovely native trees and plants. There's a newly built yoga studio at the back, and if we had more time we probably would have attended a yoga class! Thanks again Tracey, we'll be back again!

    Billie2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • My parents had an amazing time at Tracey's beautiful home and would love to visit again in the future. Tracey was super accommodating and kind hosts and they had everything they could’ve possibly needed. Thank you for everything!

    Cedric2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great! Comfy, mid-reno but doesn't matter, it's still a cozy place to stay. Host was lovely and very helpful. The cafe is awesome!

    Bec2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • The Nati House was stylish, comfortable and homely, with many thoughtful touches to make the place feel like home. Very welcoming and the local knowledge provided by Tracey was really helpful. Highly recommend this sweet house in a beautiful country town.

Only 12 mins from Horsham, relax and unwind in The Old Vectis Lutheran School (circa 1894). Studio style living, set on twenty acres & just a short drive to Mount Arapiles, Horsham and the Wimmera River. A little further afield, find yourself day tripping in the Grampians, Coonawarra wine region or following the Silo Art Trail. Alternatively, just stay in with a good book in front of the cosy wood fire.
There is a queen bed and a set of bunks. Along with wood fire, there is also split system heating/cooling. Outside is a private paved area with BBQ and outdoor dining facilities. Each guest receives one complimentary drink at the National Hotel, Natimuk.
We are just a 10 minute drive from Horsham and Natimuk. Natimuk is a lovely, little town nestled in the shadow of Mount Arapiles, which is world famous for its rock climbing. Enjoy a cold drink and a warm meal at the National Hotel with friendly publican Bill and his staff. Natimuk also has a cafe (open fri, sat and sun), milk bar with fish'n'chip shop and post office.
  • As someone who’s always on the road, Matt & Kirrily’s place by far felt complete in every aspect. It is spotless and faultless, has everything you would want at your own home. I love the place so much that I’m planning to make another booking later this year, this time for leisure though. Highly recommend their place for any sort of traveler.

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow! What a wonderful - surprising cottage. Had this as our base whilst visiting silo arts. It’s an idyllic & rural feel, but has all the contemporary amenities! The Schoolhouse on Somerset has some historical content (as a school) & yet, felt the comfort of home on our stay! Plus - had the most beautiful sunsets & because of the wide panoramic windows, you can blinds open & see glorious stars whilst on bed. Kudos Matt & Kirrily! The location, fireplace, farm eggs & the movies were a great plus! Wished we had a few more days - lounging around, instead of driving all over the place. :) Loved the design too. Woke up to local visitors - kangaroos in the yard too! Highly recommended! 👍⭐️ Roman & David

    Jen2018-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful little house in a relaxing environment. Two of the best nights sleep while away. I'm away a lot fir work and will definitely be booking back into the old schoolhouse!

    Laura2018-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely time in the Vectis School House on Somerset. The house was so beautifully set up with fabulous amenities and absolutely everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We appreciated the extras - enough wood to last, clean towels and instant contact if we needed to know anything. Vectis Schoolhouse is in the perfect locality for the Silo Art Trail and we just loved driving to these sites taking the backroads where possible. We loved the huge skies and fabulous horizon and the blaze of canola that seemed to stretch for ever. The early morning bird song was a delight, as was sitting at a the little table watching the sun go down. Thank-you Matt and Kirrily for a fabulous stay in The Schoolhouse. We would love to come back to explore more of your part of the world. The Mount Arapiles walking trail still awaits!

  • Penelope’s Airbnb is a perfect stop off. 4 of us stayed there to break up the Melbourne to Adelaide drive and it was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space, modern house with air con in the bedrooms which made it very comfortable in the summer. The bedrooms get light quite early so would recommend an eye mask if you like a sleep in, but that’s a minor comment and I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a place in Horsham to use stay here.

Yes there was the noise from the main road, but that didn’t bother us as we are heave sleepers. We would definitely recommend this home and will be back.
