Places to stay in Napa Valley
Beautiful and large cabin on 50+ acres at the top of the mountain range that separates Sonoma & Napa valleys. Enjoy a loft bedroom, kitchen, full bathroom, hiking trails, and an amazing deck (over 1000 sq feet) with mountain top views!
The cabin is a full size cabin with loft bedroom and private bathroom that offers a perfect getaway for two or even more. The cabin offers amazing views from the deck of Sonoma Valley and has amazing sunset views. Enjoy a glass of wine while walking through the orchard, picking fruit, or enjoying vegetables from one of our gardens. The cabin is well lit up with double sliding glass doors and a custom piece of redwood which provides a beautiful bar for drinks or a bite to eat. Enjoy the over sized deck which wraps around the cabin and offers beautiful views of Sonoma Valley & the sunset. The back deck is over-sized and just off the back deck there are 20+ fruit trees full of pears, nectarines, plums, and apples. Guests are welcome to take home as much fruit as they can when it is blossoming during the summer.
The neighborhood is very unique in that we don't have neighbors. The cabin is located at the top of a road full of curves (over 5 miles up Cavedale) and amazing views of the bay area. Be sure to drive safe and enjoy some of the beautiful views on your way to Rancho Relaxo.
  • My fiance and I had an amazing stay at Rancho Relaxo this past weekend! Doug and Karen were the most gracious of hosts and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Rancho Relaxo is a physical and mental retreat from life. The setting is surreal and inspiring - its the kind of place that you don't want anyone else to know about but it would be an absolutely travesty for others to not experience. You'll have hummingbirds feeding on your back porch and woodpeckers gently nudging you out of bed, all while breathing clean air and enjoying some of the best wine in the world. Go and see for yourself and you will leave with a greater appreciation for your existence.

  • 5 stars experience for this awesome cabin. Doug is the best host possible, always ready to take care of his guests. This place is perfect to relax and enjoy wonderful landscapes. We stayed 2 nights and it felt like home! I definitively recommend it. Thank you Doug for your warm welcome and this great experience. :)

  • My partner and I were looking for a secluded getaway to spend the weekend after New Year's and we were so lucky to find this cabin! Doug was a great host--super friendly, responsive to messages...he even gave us the possibility of staying an extra night. The cabin itself was gorgeous--even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. It was spotless when we arrived, and we were immediately impressed by the beautiful design, breathtaking views, and cozy loft bed. There is a lot of space to roam on the property; we went for a nice hike as soon as we arrived. The fact that the cabin is pet-friendly is an extra plus! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the weekend. Thank you, Doug!

  • Such a great time! We celebrated our 11th anniversary in Sonoma/Glen Ellen, and we're so lucky we found Doug's place on Airbnb. Doug is an incredibly gracious host, and the cabin he built makes for a perfect Sonoma getaway. So quiet and peaceful with everything you need for a perfect getaway. Doug topped it all off with delicious homemade blueberry pastries. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks Doug! One note - you can access both Napa Valley and Sonoma from this place, which would be perfect if you can stay for a few days!

  • Doug was super welcoming and friendly, made sure we were comfortable and offered us food. ..the place is super spacious and the bed incredibly comfortable. The property is secluded and great for hiking and you have the most wonderful view of the stars. Definitely would come back!

  • Doug was great. Unfortunately for us we arrived in a torrential downpour! I'd pictured wine on the deck with the lovely view!!! I did get a nice walk in the next morning before we left. And Doug delivered coffee, fruit, and rolls for breakfast!!

  • *read the whole Airbnb description I've seen quite a few "there's no AC" complaints. This is true, however, I can't complain. I'm from Arizona, I like it hot. The cabin and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. This was by far the best place we stayed at. There's fresh fruit on the trees behind the cabin. The views are incredible. My dogs absolutely loved the freedom to roam and there was other dogs they could play with, which was a bonus. Everyone in the "neighborhood" was so friendly. I had an incident where my pups took off and Dougs mom was awesome! Used a fancy whistle to get them back lol. The cabin is very cozy and clean, no stove so bring your own food. The glen ellen market is fairly close and has everything you'll need. There's a BBQ, a toaster oven, microwave and fridge. The fit pit outside was a nice touch. Overall, I'm very happy we chose this Airbnb, I would love to return one day and visit again.

  • Beautiful location for a retreat! Upon arrival we were greeted by two very friendly labradors. One, Iggy, even came to greet us at the patio every morning and served as a guide for our hike to the pond. Doug is a great host too and was available if we needed anything during our stay. The cabin is well appointed and clean. Comfortable bedding and furniture. Life is good when you wake up and are able to walk right out onto a deck with amazing views of the surrounding forest and mountains.

    Glen Ellen, CA, United States

Come enjoy the beautiful wooded area and our historic cabin. Our gas fireplace, hot spa, fine bedding, down comforter, and high speed wi-fi await. We're 10 min from wineries/dining in Kenwood and Glen Ellen in the heart of Sonoma Valley, adjacent to Napa Valley, and surrounded by wineries, restaurants, breweries and 4 state parks with a free pass! We have ample elec. outlets, condiments, bottled water, hot beverage options, maps/guidebooks and more. We welcome friendly people of all backgrounds.
Our place is not a luxury property as some others you might be viewing, rather it's a relaxing "old time" camp feeling. Our family has cherished this property since before the turn of the century. The cabin is located in our backyard, 30 feet from our house, separated by a sort of courtyard which is the shared outdoor area. You may see us in the backyard, gardening, dining, etc. ....You'll have a keyless code, no key needed, tons of outlets for your charging needs, Wi-fi, Roku for Netflix etc, Bose bluetooth/wired player for music. ....Phone service: ATT cell service works fine (other providers may have a weaker signal here) but we are out in the (Wine) country so make sure to check in our wi-fi for your texting, etc. ....Kitchen: It's a small but complete with: range, full size fridge, microwave, pots and pans, bake ware, blender, popcorn popper, knives, peelers, spices, condiments, napkins, paper towels, even "to go" coffee cups and bottled water. Lots of silverware and plates/bowls/glasses, gas grill for your exclusive use outside the cabin. ....Spa: It's clean and hot and has instructions attached. ....Beds: a queen mattress w/down comforter, high count cotton sheet, extra pillows, and a cozy electric blanket during cool season. 2nd bed is a (click-clack type) double futon sleeper sofa in the same room that can accommodate 2 more small or medium sized adults or children. If you have booked 3 or more people, I will have the sleeper sofa made up for sleeping (including a down comforter) when you arrive. If you have just 2 people and need both beds made up, please tell me in advance, otherwise I will assume you are sharing the bed and would like to retain the use of the couch as a couch. ....Heat and cooling: Gas free standing fireplace and a ceiling fan are all you need in our wine country climate. ....Bathroom: The outdoor (only) shower is 100% private, closed in, and accessed through the bathroom not the yard. Its warm and toasty while you are showering. The original "bathroom" sink is located in the bedroom, as was common a hundred years ago. Luggage rack and freestanding closet with hangers are provided. ....Dining: Eat outside at the patio chairs/table on a portion of the deck we have dedicated solely to our guests or there is a small table inside the unit for dining inside. ....Outdoor Seating: There is an old fashioned padded swing seat adjacent to the spa, your outdoor dining table and you may sit at our covered outdoor couch area if you feel like socializing as this is a shared area. ....Going hiking? You've picked the right Airbnb! Free parking and tons of hiking at all state parks in the area with our parking pass plus borrow our backpack style picnic "basket". We've pre-loaded it with plates, napkins, small knife, cutting board, etc, everything you need to make a picnic out of yummy local food finds. We'd love to give you tips about where to go and trail maps/book are in the cabin. ....Night time: Our yard is well lit for night time enjoyment. Ping-pong table in shared portion of the back yard. Main overhead outdoor light switch is at corner of our main house, next to gate you come in through. Lights over couch area are switched on from next to our large grill. ....Summer only: Morton's Warm Springs is a pool and picnic grounds next door to us. You may hear a few swimmers and their picnicking during the day. Visit Mortons to cool off or just stroll the grounds along the creek, all with our included cabin pass at no charge. Hours: May and Sept: open weekends and holidays, June, July, August open Tuesday thru Sunday. 10 am to 6 pm. We have a full office on site for our businesses so if you need to print or receive a fax, it's no problem. Please get prior OK for jobs over 10 pages.
We are located in the beautiful rural premium wine growing area of Sonoma Valley and are close to 4 state parks that are great for hikes and walks and we have a free parking pass for you: Jack London, Sugarloaf, Annadel and Armstrong Redwoods State Nature Preserve. We live in a wooded area near a creek on a country road that is popular for cycling and walks. Beautiful woods and wildlife are abundant. Deer, turkeys, hawks, squirrel, and more might be seen daily. In your room you will find a short list of great restaurants and wineries and breweries nearby. We have lived here for 30 years and are happy to give more suggestions too!
  • We had a great time in the cabin. Very cozy and warm. Outside shower was amazing. Bed was comfortable. Wish we would have used the hot tub but our trip was too short. Diana was a super cool host as well.

    Paul2016-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Diana and Charles are great hosts! They gave us some great advice for our short visit. Their cabin is amazing - so cosy, comfortable and clean. The location is great, they are very close to several (Sonoma County) wineries and great restaurants and not too far from Napa Valley. Their attention to detail makes the cabin a perfect place to stay if you are looking to find a place to relax and cook your own meals. And having a hot tub right outside your door is the best!

    JoAnn2016-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We were a party of 3 and stayed at Diana and Charles place for two nights. We had a wonderful time. Diana's online description is exactly what you should expect. We loved taking advantage of her hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor seating. We were easily able to travel to wineries in both Napa and Sonoma Valley and really liked how the cabin allowed us to cook our own meals. They are fantastic hosts and we would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great experience in wine country.

    Alexis2017-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Diana and Charles are great hosts. Diana communicates well and provides detailed information that allows the guests' stay go go smoothly. The cabin itself is fantastic. While located in their back yard, it is indeed a private space. We didn't use the hot tub as we were out most of the time, but it's located near the cabin itself, and I imagine we would have enjoyed it. I also really liked the outside shower. It is actually enclosed and was one of the many things I liked about the spot. The cabin also had complimentary coffee with sugar and creamer readily available. Diana and Charles hosted some family members one of the night and had a fire pit set up while socializing. They were gracious enough to invite my wife and I as well, and we had a great time. Diana also had lots of good suggestions for places to eat as well as some wineries. The property is conveniently located just a few minutes from many of the wineries and excellent restaurants in Sonoma county. I would stay in a future trip to wine country and would also recommend this place t anyone looking to visit wine country.

    Steven2017-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nice quiet location with a cabin feel. Amenities with attention to detail. Research the area prior to arriving. There are plenty of options for activities. The hosts offered great tips for dining and exploring. The coast was within an drive and has great views and a beach. Cafe Citti is a must. Food was delicious and great value and service. We enjoyed the Benzinger Family Winery tour very much.

    Bill2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • This gem of a cabin was heavenly! Diana and Charles have created a lovely compound--inviting and serene--around this little cabin that is surprisingly comfortable (the bed more comfortable than our own at home!) and well-equipped. We enjoyed the passes to the Jack London State Park and Morton's Warm Springs as well as delicious strawberries and fresh fava beans from a small road-side stand. We cannot wait to return.

    Michael2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was very comfy and spacious. We loved the rustic look and feel though it has all the amenities we needed and then more. Though it felt like you were in the woods town was a short drive away w restaurants, stores (food and gifts) Enjoyed using the BBQ and the outside table every morning. The Spa (hot tub) was a wonderful way to end a day of wine tasting

    Jessica2016-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Quiet, clean, rustic. Well stocked with everything to make it just like home. Woodsy setting is ver relaxing . Diana and Charles are great hosts. Wineries are close by.

  • Melanie was an extremely welcoming host, incredibly accommodating and was happy to answer any questions we had. The accommodation itself was very clean and stocked with welcoming touches such as fresh fruit, snacks, with condiments and drinks in the fridge. A very comfortable stay with plenty of fresh towels, sheets and extra blankets. Wish we had an extra day or so! Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about staying here.

    Nic & Kiah2016-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely great time at Melanie's guest cottage! The cottage is perfect for two people, and we really appreciated all the items inside. The fridge and coffee maker helped us have breakfast in the mornings, and the bed was cozy and came with so many extra blankets that we were never cold! There's also heat and air conditioning, so it's perfect for any time of the year. The cottage has a private entrance, complete with a new gate, and the evenings were quiet and peaceful. The bathroom is perfect, with a walk in stall shower that is roomy and lots of plush towels. The cottage was an excellent choice for us, and it's only minutes from downtown Sonoma. Melanie is beyond welcoming and accommodating (with a cute little lemon tree/brush right on the front step!), and Max (her cute dog) is a sweetie! Should we find ourselves in Sonoma again, I know we will definitely check to see if the cottage is available for another stay. Thank you for such a charming place to stay, Melanie!

    Brittany2016-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Simply stated, the description of this cottage is understated. Melanie has created a cottage that is immaculate and every possible need has been addressed. Perfection has been achieved in design, lighting, color, furnishings and ambiance. From coffee to refrigerator, microwave to dishware the kitchen area has just enough of what you might desire without taking up space for respite. The bathroom comes complete with soft towels, great lighting, spacious shower and anything you might have possibly forgotten. We had several options for breakfast that were a mere ten-minute walk away. A quick drive to Sonoma Square put us right in the middle of succulent restaurants, wine tasting and even a weekly outdoor market complete with veggies, venders and live music. Our host, Melanie, was there whenever we needed and wanted her around with nothing more, nothing less, just seamless timing. Her company was friendly and informative, her cottage was clean and crisp, and her location was impeccably fitted for exploration and peace. Melanie belongs to Max who is a large and beautiful canine, and if you are lucky (and so desire) he might even take you in and show you his backyard.

    Pamela2015-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic host Melanie and the bonus of playing with Max the dog ( optional ). Great times.

    Richard2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! A short drive to Sonoma square which has amazing restaurants and tasting rooms. The cottage was exactly what we needed - clean, comfortable, peaceful and within driving distance of places we wanted to visit. Melanie welcomed us with open arms. The cottage is on the smaller side so not for more than two people but it was exactly what we wanted. Would definitely recommend!!

    Diana 2017-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Melanie was an absolute pleasure. First of all, her level of communication before we arrived was excellent. We had some glitchy issues with the Airbnb reservation system but Melanie was helpful throughout. When we arrived, she greeted us as if we were long lost friends and my wife and I immediately felt at home. We came and went with ease, the room was perfect, and little details like a welcome basket, coffee and tea setups, instructions on using the TV, and plenty of towels were thought of ahead of time. I can't wait to get back to Sonoma but a big part of the reason why is because of Melanie and her amazing hospitality!

    Michael2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Melanie is a superb host. We became fast friends with her and Max, her dog. The cottage was well appointed and had lots of extras too. The bed was very comfortable. This cozy place is located in the heart of wine country and in a quiet, safe residential neighborhood. You have your own private entrance and lots of privacy. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again soon. JnJ

    Jean2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Melanie was fantastic, and above and beyond our expectations. Upon arrival, Melanie greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel right at home. I cannot stress enough how lovely she is! The space is cozy and immaculate - it is private and very clearly recently redone. In addition to general amenities, Melanie took the warmth of the space to the next level by providing us with several personal touches that gave us a taste of Sonoma, like local snacks and recommendations for our time around town. As one of our first Airbnb experiences, Melanie has set a high bar! I would HIGHLY recommend Melanie's home - we will certainly be reaching out to her when we find ourselves in Sonoma again!

  • We had a great stay! Never got the chance to meet Joe but checkin instructions were very clear and everything was great!

  • This house was the perfect size for just the two of us and our two dogs. The fenced in yard was especially nice for them. The host was very responsive and helpful on the local area.

    Nathan2014-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The house had a great view and the bed was very comfortable. That being said the place was tidy yet dirty. The floors were stained in many areas, the screen door was broken and the shades on the windows were very dirty.

    Sheena2014-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as advertised, wonderful!

    Jay2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as described. As noted in other reviews, the highlight is definitely the back porch and the Sonoma view. The cottage was very clean and well decorated. Instructions for our stay were clear and uncomplicated. Joe was quick to respond to any questions we had.

    Paul2014-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at the view suite! It's a short and inexpensive cab ride away from Sonoma square. The views are also great for a nice breakfast or glass of wine on the deck. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Joe!

Our location amongst the redwoods is quiet and close to world class hiking trails in Jack London State Park and North Sonoma Mountain. We are centrally located to explore the picturesque small towns, wineries and farm fresh cuisine of Sonoma County.
We are nestled among giant redwoods in Sonoma county 46 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. Our guest unit is separated from the main house by a car port for complete privacy. There is a designer king bed with down and cotton comforters. It has a small, though well-equipped kitchen with stove, oven, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. There is a private outdoor patio off the guest unit with dining table and chairs and a new gas grill. We are close to a Sonoma County Regional park and hiking trails. 20 minutes from the Russian River Brewery in Santa Rosa, 15 minutes from downtown Glen Ellen restaurants, 30 minutes to Petaluma antique stores.
The best part of where we live is the peace of the redwoods, the bucolic views from Sonoma Mountain and close proximity of world class wineries and restaurants. Santa Rosa is an outstanding cyclist destination--Sonoma Mountain Road is on one of Santa Rosa Cycling Club's Top 10 rides--Valley of the Moon. Fantastic hiking trails are outside our front door that lead to North Sonoma Mountain and Jack London State Park. For more information about our pet policy, single night stays and wifi please read the Other Things to Note section.
  • My boyfriend and I loved staying at Barbara and Tim's! It's definitely an adventure driving in, but the reward at the end of the long stretch of country road is a beautiful, clean and comfortable place to stay. It's remote enough to be quiet and serene, but close enough to "civilization" that you don't feel stuck. The little touches in the house like the old issues of Sunset magazine and the tea lights in the fireplace were wonderful. The location was great - while I initially planned on spending most of this trip in Sonoma and Napa, we did not really leave Glen Ellen the entire 2 days because it was that fabulous. The guide Barbara sends before your arrival is super helpful and includes lots of information on all the great things Glen Ellen has to offer. I would 100% recommend staying here!

    Maria2016-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • I am learning there is a reason you stay with Super hosts. The experience is nothing short of exactly how it should be. Whether you interact with your host and have a personal experience or you never see them. The latter was my experience with Barbara. She made sure I would get in safely and be able to navigate the narrow roads and gravel drive once on her property. Considering I just stayed at an Airbnb in Half Moon Bay with lots of fog driving in during the late of night, Barbara's drive was lit by my headlights and the gravel road in some ways is part of the experience of not being in the city. I felt safe and YES the bed is all that. Barbara's place is very clean has a great energy with a retro throwback in decor. I brought my wingman Buddha (17 1/2-year-old pug) and drove back and forth to the city each day for clients. It's worth it! Go to the market before you begin your drive.

    Barbra2016-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • We have stayed in many Airbnb places around the world and NONE have been as quiet, peaceful and relaxing as Barbara's in Glen Ellen. The setting is spectacular -- you're literally far in the country, just as the pictures show -- and the space is extremely clean and comfortable, a perfect place to relax. The bed deserves special mention -- one of the most comfortable we've ever come across -- my wife and I wanted to spend the entire weekend in it. Barbara was extremely responsive and wonderfully sweet, gave us great advice on wineries to hit and restaurants to visit and even gave us a fabulous basket of scones the morning of our departure. Six stars, not five!

    Charles2016-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Host was very communicative and helpful throughout the process. Listing was as pictured and well described. I'd definitely recommend the listing to a friend or stay here again should I find myself in that neck of the woods once more!

    Jennifer2015-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fantastic find out in the countryside not far from Glen Ellen. The drive up to the home was very impressive, and we wish we had more time there. Barbara and Tim were very accommodating, and provided activities, restaurants that we were able to use. Overall, the location was great, and the host were very friendly.

    Gavin2016-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic experience, quiet, secluded and comfortable. I hope to return.

    Jeff2016-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time - our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! The drive is a bit curvy and off the main road but its totally worth it because once you arrive, you are truly in an unbeatable spot in the middle of nature and quiet. Barbara helped me a lot with some recommendations before we arrived, and by far the best was the nearby restaurant called Glen Ellen Star. We hope we will be able to return soon!

    Maya2016-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to get away from it all. All the privacy you could desire. Friendly knowledgable hosts. Be prepared for a rough ride off the main road, but don't let this deter from experiencing this beautiful location.

We are located in one of the hidden country gems of Napa, just 10 minutes from downtown. This is ideal for those are are looking for pure relaxation in a country setting. Extremely quite, private and serene.
The Cottage is spacious and very comfortable. You have your own privacy as the cottage is situated away from the main house.
An abundance of space, tranquility and beauty.
  • Overall we had a great stay! It was quiet, clean and the bed was amazing. Great home base for our stay in Napa. Love the espresso machine and the bottle of wine that was chilled and ready for us when we arrived. Thanks so much, Ellen!

    Christopher2016-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The location was great, just minutes out of town. Nice and quite. Beautiful views and very clean.

    Judi2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was great, bed super comfortable, and bathroom nice and clean. An espresso machine for the mornings and a bottle of wine left for us was a really nice touch. The property is definitely undergoing construction, but it didn't impact our stay except that we were a bit hesitant to wander around much. The location is very convenient - a short drive to downtown Napa, the Oxbow market, etc.

    Rebecca2015-05-19T00:00:00Z

It was cozy and comfortable, easy to get in and out without disturbing our hosts, and surrounded by serenely quiet woods. Our hosts were very helpful in offering recommendations for dinner and making sure we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves! I would not hesitate to stay here again!

    Matt2015-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • This guest cottage was exactly as described - it is in a standalone building on a beautiful piece of property in Napa. The cottage is well appointed, spacious, and has a comfortable bed, big closet, and nice bathroom. There is no air conditioning, but we didn't miss it at all- We slept with the window open and were totally cool and comfortable in mid-August. The property is adjacent to a horse-boarding facility of some sort, and we really enjoyed seeing the horses, hearing the roosters, and in general being in such a nice setting. The location is also great- very quick drive to downtown Napa and right off of the main drag through the Napa Valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely recommend.

    Caitlin2015-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was beautiful, secluded, and yet so close to almost every vineyard we wanted to see. We wish we could have met the hosts but we'll be back in the future no doubt.

If you are just one couple, please also check availability for "Main Street Farmhouse Master+Bath". If only two people want separate rooms there is an additional cost of $60/night. To reserve space for 6 people, you can check availability here and at the Master+Bath site. "Cottage or Carriage House or Farmhouse Silver Cloud" (separate locations on Airbnb) are also on our beautiful half-acre. Charming renovated farmhouse built in 1880 on Main Street! Continental Breakfast including Greek yogurt, homemade granola, English muffins, bagels, cream cheese, jelly and jam, coffee and tea is provided each day in the dining room. Enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch and the beautiful landscaping on this historic half acre on Main Street! Private driveway parking area. Main Street Farmhouse is licensed by the city of Napa. There is no deposit required as we trust the respect guests will have for the property and rooms. All children must be supervised by a family member. Not suitable or safe for children under the age of 12 years. Guests may enjoy the dining room, front porch and back patio area. We interact as much as the guests would like. Exchanging ideas about restaurants and wineries is something we enjoy doing. ***For BottleRock weekend each year, these two rooms may be reserved independently and share the bathroom if both rooms are not reserved by the same group. Other than that one weekend per year, the bathroom is private for this listing.
Napa neighborhoods/streets are very diverse regarding types of houses, parking, etc. The Farmhouse sits on beautiful part of Main Street with great parking. If you're not staying here, we recommend to street view the address you are considering prior to making a reservation somewhere else.
  • Lovely hosts at a quaint, historic cottage.

    Graham2015-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nicely restored 1880's home, hosts were very kind and always responded quickly. The home and bathroom was very clean. The continental breakfast is put out the night before so if you are leaving early in the morning, it is available for you to grab and go. The host provided us with several suggestions on local eateries and wineries to visit that were great recommendations. Not in main downtown area but not a bad location - walking/jogging trails are very close. It is near a Railroad track but that just adds to the character of the home.

  • My fiancé and I had a lovely stay at Tom and Judy's place for 2 nights. It was easy to communicate with them, and we had no trouble finding the place. We stayed in the Arbor room, which was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean and very well appointed (e.g., shampoos, body wash, lotions, etc.). The complimentary breakfasts were definitely one of the highlights of the stay. We were provided a simple, but filling breakfast (breads and jams, as well as yogurt+ granola and oatmeal if we wanted it) with hot coffee. A great way to start the day in Napa. Overall, wonderful stay for the value!!

    Emily2016-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay with Yom and Judy. The rooms were comfortable and immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. Tom and Judy were gracious hosts . Their home is very close to downtown Napa and conveniently located to major high ways. We would stay there again!!

  • Had a very nice stay and with the help of Judy and Tom we were able to quickly find our way around Napa. They are very helpful and offered assistance if we would need it. The House is a very nice and authentical Place, which fits perfectly in the area and is furnished with vintage furniture. Everything needed is provided and it makes it a nice place to stay.

    Larissa2016-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Tom and Judy were great! They gave us the tour and the rundown of the place as soon as we walked in. They also told us to call or text them with any questions. We felt very welcome!

    Annie2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Tom and Judy's place is exactly how you'd picture a farmhouse bed and breakfast in Napa - antique furniture, homely feel, lovingly maintained, and with two chubby cats roaming the outside grounds. Communication was great -- Tom and Judy kept in touch with me over Airbnb messenger and were onsite when I called to check in. They provided a very nice breakfast spread (yogurt, bagels, granola, coffee and tea) and I loved being able to enjoy breakfast outside in their beautiful patio area. There were other guests staying onsite as well in the Airstream and in another building, but we rarely saw anyone else. I booked the farmhouse with another couple and we had 2 bedrooms as well as a shared bathroom, so it wasn't like a private apartment but since the other room upstairs had their own bathroom, it pretty much felt like we had the entire upstairs to ourselves. The neighborhood is mostly quiet except for the rare train passing by and we had no trouble finding parking.

    Virginia2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very Napa-like experience in a nice farmhouse, located close to Oxbow Market and downtown Napa.

  • Our two night stay at the writer's retreat couldn't have been better. The cabin is in a beautiful location looking over a creek and it's just across the street from incredible hiking trails above Napa Valley. Inside, the cabin is perfectly clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed picnic dinners on the porch both nights. Thanks Monroe, we hope to return soon.

  • Cozy and quiet. Great host. Accurate description. Loved our stay.

    Craig2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • The writers retreat was clean and lovely. Location had great access to everything. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening wine and cheese on the deck. We would definitely come back to stay.

    Jeanette2015-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Monroe and his wife were very gracious hosts. Our two night stay at the writers retreat was very pleasant. If you are looking for a simple place to rest your head in Napa, we would recommend the writers retreat.

    Ann2015-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place was small but very cozy. Less than 10 minutes away from downtown Napa. You will need to use your phone flashlight as it's very dark. We slept very well on the memory foam mattress. Great get away.

    Pavloa2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at the writer's retreat! Location was perfect. As others noted, it feels secluded in the woods yet it's very close to town with quick access to both Napa and Sonoma. Place was clean and the porch was a nice spot for breakfast. And the passcode entry made checking in and out a breeze. We'd stay here again, thanks Monroe!

  • Hanan had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The house was beautiful and very clean, and we even spent time in the yard at night under the beautiful lights she had. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We were not more than a 10 minute car ride to downtown Napa, which was great, especially the River walk.

    Deborah2015-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Hanan and Joe's place is everything you want in an Airbnb - impeccably clean, in a great location, well designed, comfortable, and private. I used the lovely backyard space to work one day and had it to myself, walked to Oxbow Public Market (I advise taking East Ave for views and safety as Silverado Trail doesn't have sidewalks for much of the way), slept like a baby, and found it very convenient for getting to my conference at the Culinary Institute. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

    Amy & Lance2015-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Hanan was an amazing host! She gave us awesome recommendations, and was so welcoming. The home is beautiful and it had such a comfortable bed for great sleep after drinking lots of wine! I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting wine country. Perfect location as well.

    Michael2015-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely space. Hana greeted us immediately, then we had the place to ourselves. The back yard is very nice, and the beds are very comfortable. I would only note that if two couples are staying, one has to go through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom. It was a quick trip but I would stay there again!

    Megan2016-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at this beautiful and spacious bungalow. We comfortably fit 3 ladies with multiple suitcases haha and could have easily brought another person. It was extremely close to downtown and a quick uber ride to multiple vineyards. We loved it and couldn't have asked for a better place to call home for our weekend getaway! We look forward to coming back in the near future!

    Sarah2016-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about our stay was smooth and effortless. Great location, just minutes from downtown Napa. The bikes were a great addition and were a fun way to get around. The guest house was perfect and had everything we needed. Hanan was an amazing host. I left my jacket in the closet after we left and she was so helpful in accommodating us to pick it up. We will certainly recommend this to all of our friends!

  • Pamela was a responsive, friendly, and accommodating host. We enjoyed the bungalow's convenient location to all that the area has to offer, as well as its privacy, exquisite decor with seasonal touches, and cozy comfort. The expansive yard with its creek and shady seating areas would be lovely to return to in a warmer season!

    Teresa2014-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We chose Ella's place to be part of our wedding venture! Her bungalow was such a romantic yet sophisticated place filled with character and beautiful furniture and decors. We spent the morning getting ready with the rest of the bridal party. You can only imagine everyone was beautifully photographed with such details in the background. This bungalow is a cozy space but has everything you need including kitchen and full size refridge. Ella was also very understanding and accommodating to our needs when we had a relatively large crowd before we headed out to our wedding venue. And after a hectic wedding day, we could not ask for a better place with dreamy bed to spend the night! We would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling. Given precious antique furniture, maybe not suitable for little kids or pets but no doubt it will be a great addition to beautiful memories you will make during your trip to Sonoma!

    Ej2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Pamela's charming bungalow for three wonderful nights. Even before we arrived, Pamela made us feel welcome and comfortable, answering all the questions we had. During our stay, she was the perfect host- she made sure we were comfortable, she always had a friendly smile, and she had wonderful recommendations when we asked. Pamela is wonderful to talk to. The property itself is amazing- tranquil and centrally located. There is a small patio that overlooks a beautiful yard, which is wonderful for breakfast, drinks, or contemplation. Inside, the bungalow is a perfect size for 2 people. It's also exquisitely decorated- there are delightful accents everywhere. All in all, a wonderful stay!

    Kathryn2014-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela was an excellent host. We had a fantastic weekend in Somona county and our bungalow was the perfect location to start exploring. We enjoyed biking and wine tasting in downtown Sonoma. At night, we had a Lyft take us over to Napa for dinner. This location was great for Sonoma county and one night in Napa. The serene backyard at the bungalow is the best place to relax over coffee or a good bottle of wine. Highly recommend this property!

    Brittany2015-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela was very welcoming and had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and wine tasting venues (we visited all of the places she recommended and all were superb). The cottage was beautifully decorated with art and French antiques and the grounds were private and peaceful. One of the best parts of our stay was playing with Pamela's happy puppy, Haywood. The entire stay was an absolute delight.

    nicole2015-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place is perfect!! We cannot wait for an excuse to head up to Sonoma and stay in Pamela's beautiful bungalow again. She ensured that we felt completely at home and the bungalow is in a super convenient centralized location to all that Sonoma and the surrounding area has to offer.

  • Our stay at Red's was great. Very easy to speak with her before we arrived early to spend the day in Napa Valley. The room was cosy and comfy and the cats were very friendly. Red kindly made us breakfast in the morning which was very much appreciated for the long drive ahead. Definitely recommend staying here!

    Philip2016-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer was very welcoming and made us feel as if we were friends that came to visit as opposed to strangers renting a room. She was very kind and even offered us wine on several occasions. The bed was comfy, and we enjoyed Monkey's (the cat) company. I happen to love cats, so for us the furry friends were a big plus.

  • Red house is very secluded. Its close to the bus stations too. There was a heater which we really needed. Their pets were not a bother. We hardly saw them. Bathroom was clean. She always answered our inquiries.

    Bianca Mae2017-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • It was a convenient place to stay knowing we were going to be there very little. The queen bed was comfy and the room had a door that led out to a nice patio. The bathroom was next door to the room but tiny and the shower didn't work so we had to use a shower in an upstairs bathroom that is shared with tenants. This was communicated beforehand so we appreciated that knowledge but it was still less than ideal. We did enjoy our trip to Napa overall and we're glad for such a convenient location to keep our stuff and sleep. The owner wasn't there for our stay so I wonder if we would've had a better experience had she been there, although I do not fault her for traveling during our stay.

    Mary2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Red was very accommodating. She gave us a tour of the house so we knew where things were. The room was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable, almost too comfortable.. The place has some amazing views and I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy them.

    Adriana2016-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer was an awesome host. She welcomed right into her home. Jennifer was good at communication as she reached out to us before we arrived. She made sure we knew how to get in and settled. She was able to give us advice on where to eat, shop, and taste wines at. The bed is super comfy and the cats are adorable additions as well. I would be happy to come back to stay here during my next stay.

  • Tom and Judy were gracious hosts, eager to provide restaurant and winery recommendations. We stayed in the private cottage, which sits just behind the main bed-and-breakfast on Main Street (.5 miles from downtown). It is connected to a shared courtyard that is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. Overall, the accommodations were spacious for a couple and very clean. I look forward to my next stay at the cottage.

  • It would be hard to find a better place to stay in Napa than the Cottage. It's private, spacious, well-appointed and well-equipped. It has every amenity that you'd find in a nice hotel (including a hair dryer) and much more. The queen bed (there are two but we only used one) was comfortable and had lots of pillows. We were delighted to find a refrigerator that was well stocked, but also that we could use. The neighborhood is quiet and walking distance to the town center. tom and Judy couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. There's no question that we would stay here again.

    Susan2015-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Good location and lovery country style interior. You can easy to access wineries and supermarket. The house has everything what you need for staying. I liked drinking a morming coffee in the yard. I thank for Tom and Judy's hospitality. I definitly stay again if I visit Napa.

  • Such a fabulous place for a great weekend in Napa. Tom and Judy were welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend!

    Cami2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Judy was an excellent hostess and so enchanting. The cottage is adorably decorated, quiet, very clean and had everything we needed including a little kitchenette. Judy and Tom hosted a delicious breakfast in the main house (for a little more), also gorgeous. My cousins, aunt and I had a wonderful short (too short) stay there but, I will book a room with them again in the near future. I will be recommending this AirBnb spot to everyone I know that is going to Napa.

  • Tom and Judy were extremely welcoming and kind. Judy kindly spent time with us telling us what we could do in the area. Their cottage is absolutely beautiful so that we did not want to leave. The surrounding area is lovely and quiet. We would highly recommend staying here.

  • This place couldn't have been more perfect for my best friend's and my stay in Napa. Adorable and just a quick uber ride away from everything you could ever want to experience in the Napa Valley. Would stay here again and again.

  • Adorable neighborhood and super sweet hosts. The cottage was quaint, clean, spacious and wonderful to come home to after a day of wine tasting. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Located right downtown Napa near some of the world's greatest restaurants, wineries and scenery! Our home is newly renovated and ready to be enjoyed with premium comfort. The bed is a very pricey Tempur-Pedic Queen that makes for maximum deep sleep after enjoying a days worth of wine and food. Our home is very large for downtown and is permitted through the City of Napa with all of the additional safety precautions that a hotel must undergo. We (John & Claudio) look forward to hosting you!
    Bathroom, Living room and Kitchen.
We are walking distance to Downtown lifestyles like restaurants and tasting-rooms, massage parlors & pampering shops and Napa shopping outlets. We have easy access to highway 29 which is the gateway to the wineries up valley.
  • A very lovely home in excellent area with a beautiful large bedroom! Would recommend!

  • Our stay at John’s house was simply wonderful! We could use the kitchen and John Senior prepared coffee in the morning. Our host was very pleasant to talk to and we felt welcome in the house.

    Maude2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • John and Elizabeth are great hosts. Very close to Napa town center. Check to insure AC is working if you are heat sensitve or from a northern climate. It is hot in CA in the summer. If you are like me and love warmth and fresh air breezes all was good. John was very kind and gracious. Great communication every step of the way.

  • Thank you, Liz! We had an amazing visit to Napa. Your place is beautiful and made us feel right at home in Napa. Looking forward to staying with you again!

  • We had a spacious, clean room with access to a lovely bathroom. Would definitely stay with John again. He is a fantastic host. Can’t ask for more!

    Nicole2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing! Exactly as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to Main Street, bars, restaurants, etc. Seemed to be in a safe neighborhood. Elizabeth was great about communicating with us. Perfect place to stay for our one night in Napa!

    Maureen2016-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great room in a fab location. Easy 5min walk to downtown for many restaurants and tasting bars. JaM was our favourite one, great recommendation from John. Room is super clean and very spacious. Girls, they have a great hairdryer too. ;) can’t fault John’s place at all, happily come back anytime.

This cool and comfortable suite with a private bathroom and private entrance is the perfect spot from which to explore Sonoma. Located in a quiet neighborhood steps from the Fairmont Mission Inn and Spa, walking distance to a few great restaurants and a short drive to the town square (8 minutes) and many wineries.
Newly remodeled master bedroom and bathroom comfortably fits two people. You'll have your own private entrance along with a small deck and back yard for sitting outside to have a glass of wine. Please note that the tub is not useable, only the shower.
This is one of the older neighborhoods of Sonoma with a lot of great history. There are some great breakfast spots within a few blocks (El Molino Central, Creekside Cafe) as well as the Fairmont Mission Inn and Spa. There is also a great produce market called the Fruit Basket nearby.
  • I highly recommend Jessica's place, as my girlfriend and I had a great stay. The place was better than in the pictures, Jessica was easy to coordinate with, the room was spacious and well decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Kyle2017-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place for our one-night stay in Sonoma. Extremely clean, smartly decorated, very peaceful and quiet. After a full day of wine tasting, it was a restful place to get a solid night's sleep. Loved it, would definitely recommend and stay again.

    Jennifer2017-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Jessica's place as our homebase while we were in Sonoma for a wedding that was at the nearby Golf Club. A beautiful little place perfectly situated right next to downtown and the price couldn't be beat!

    Ashley2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in Sonoma. Jessica's place is perfect for visiting the wineries and downtown Sonoma. It's also very private and Jessica is a great host.

    Jim2017-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica made us feel welcome from the outset and ensured that our arrival was smooth and easy. It was a great base to explore Sonoma and a beautiful room.

    Jessica2016-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica was always to quick to reply, her place is super cute, quite and clean! We typically stay in Napa when we come into town but will likely stay in Sonoma again! Sonoma is breathtaking and the people are super friendly! Jessica suggested the Kunde family winery and it was an amazing experience! We will definitely be back!

    Courtney2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica’s place is very chic and sparkling clean! It has everything needed for a short stay in Sonoma! The room has access to a patio and faces directly to a cute small backyard! It is a short drive to Sonoma plaza park where you can easily spend half of a day there! Jessica provided local tips to the wineries and restaurants which had made trip planning a breeze!

Remodeled guest house with plush king bed, fully stocked kitchen, private patio with fire pit, lots of linens, protected wifi, smart tv's, private entrance and parking. Stocked with all the essentials you need for a month or longer stay. You can barrow almost anything so you can pack light. Access to laundry, pool and outdoor kitchen with BBQ. Must be dog friendly and aware that there are kids in the neighborhood. We have two still at home but attending college and working.
We are located in a wonderful neighborhood with great families surrounding us. You can walk to the Browns Valley Market, Hop Creek pub, coffee shop, several parks and hiking trails and even down town if your ambitious. There's also bus stops close by and and close to the highway.
We are just two blocks away from a boutique grocery, Hop Creek restaurant, dry cleaners, coffee shop and beauty store.
  • A great find in Napa. Amazingly convenient. Great hosts.

    Robert2018-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this place!! Margie and Rob are great hosts! Very friendly but let us have our own space. House is exactly what we expected. Initially we were concerned with the potential hot weather however they got an AC to accommodate. We loved that we were able to use the pool even had some guest joining us (the 5 dogs). This is a great location for dog lovers!! Will be staying here again as soon as we can :)

    Emily2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Margie's place is a gem! The location, amenities and hosts far exceeded all expectations. Their place is stocked with anything you may need. There is a private entrance to both the cottage and the pool/yard. Lounge chairs and umbrellas by the pool create a resort feel. An adorable boutique grocery is located within a 5 minute walk. With a car, you can easily access all of the bay area. Hosts had great suggestions on places to go and things to see.

    Brittany2018-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place was everything and more. The office came in very handy. The amenities are endless. The atmosphere is just like you are at our own home. Best guest house in Napa nailed it!! The host is extremely kind, thoughtful and caring... will so be back in the future and will recommend as well. 5 stars across the board..

    Deborah2017-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • The good news is that the guesthouse looks exactly like the photos. It is spacious and accommodating. The great news is that it is a fantastic place to stay in Napa! The location is convenient, in a quiet neighborhood with dedicated parking. The bedroom is big with a nice closet and lots of storage space, the king-size bed is ultra comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with plenty of coffee and bottled water, and on and on. Margie is a very thoughtful host with super quick response times. With cooler night-time temperatures and several fans to keep us comfortable, we slept well. (This could be an issue in the heat of summer. but Napa tends to have moderate temperatures most of the year.) Overall, we were delighted with this stay and highly recommend Margie's guesthouse!!

Newly remodeled studio below my main home with a private entrance. Spacious backyard with a patio and fire pit. Main home is a vacation-rental so you may hear noise (walking/talking) from above. The kitchen only has 2 hot plates & a toaster oven. My cat, Paris, would need to be fed, watered and given her half pill crushed in milk. Approx 10 minutes from the downtown plaza and close to several wineries. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in a lovely neighborhood perfect for morning strolls.
My studio has a small living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It opens up to a lovely patio and backyard with a hammock and fire pit (weather permitting). My cat, Paris, lives with me so she comes with the rental (for free!) If you're allergic to cats, then this would not be for you. I will ask you to feed her and love her while you're here.
I live in a lovely neighborhood where our homes are fairly close to each other. I treat my neighbors with respect and ask that you do the same by using quiet voices after 10pm.
  • Our stay was perfect! Jenny provided all of the amenities we needed and more! The little special touches of fresh flowers was so beautiful! The recommendations of places to eat, visit and do were helpful and on point. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area.

    Theresa2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment/home was amazing and even better than my girlfriend and I expected. Cool layout/interior. Great location, near excellent wineries and restaurants. Jenny was also a kind and welcoming host, and gave us great recommendations when we asked.

    Ian2016-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, about a 5 minute drive to the main street. Most of the suggested brunch, dinner & bar places are nearby and are really good. We took advantage of the fire pit by getting a duraflame log at Safeway and roasted some s'mores! The place was cozy, private and clean. I especially appreciated the immaculate bathroom! It can get a little chilly at night but there are tons of blankets and Jenny will definitely accommodate by turning on the heat if you just ask her. Will come back again!

    Medeya2016-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny was a fantastic host! She was always available to answer questions, but gave us absolute privacy in the space. The studio was clean, spacious and new. The bed and futon were very comfortable sleeping options and easily accommodated four people. The bathroom was generously sized and very clean, perfect if you have multiple people getting ready at once. We were a group of four in town for a friends wedding at a local winery- Jenny provided us with great recommendations for activities, restaurants, and must-see's that helped us to explore Sonoma during our free time from wedding festivities! I would definitely recommend the Hooker Home to anyone traveling to Sonoma! Thank you Jenny for such a wonderful experience!

    Natalie2016-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny's place is very well set up for a comfortable stay in the Sonoma Valley. We were able to visit a number of different wineries and restaurants both in Sonoma and surrounding area. Jenny was a great host and we would certainly want to stay at her place if the occasion arises in the future.

    James2017-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • My review of Jenny's place is of a positive nature with a minor caveat to our story. The place itself is a great house with all of the comforts needed to visit Sonoma Valley. We enjoyed getting to know Paris (the cat--sweet thing) and the comfortable hammock outside. The neighbor is rather quiet and the view of the mountain/hillside is good. A few minor details: the home is 4 miles from Sonoma which make it pretty unworkable for walking. We were not able to be greeted by a person and found that the keys to the house had been locked inside, so there was an exchange of phone calls with Jenny to alleviate the situation (which she responded within about 30 minutes), and was able to come up with an agreed upon solution. It did involve me climbing through a window so that we did not have to wait to long to get settled in. I will say the communication and flexibility during the situation (which sounded like a first time), was good and solved the problem. Lastly, Jenny seems to know many of the locals so we found ourselves being offered discounts and just being accepted into the village culture. We really appreciated this part.

    Dana2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • The place was clean, cozy, and wonderful. There were lot of board games to play with. We had lot of fun! The best part is there is no TV.

  • The Vintage Reserve was perfect! My wife and I used it as home base for two nights while visiting Sonoma Vineyards. We enjoyed sitting on the patio for a bit and relaxing together in this space. Lori Beth was so great, she messaged us to make sure we were all settled and came by to say hi which was so nice too. We will definitely book this spot again and next time spend more time with Lori Beth. It was a quick Uber into Sonoma Square and really close to some of our favorite vineyard stops.

Overall we loved our stay in Sonoma and hope to return again soon!

  • Vintage Reserve exceeded our expectations. What a lovely space -- clean, well stocked, carefully thought out and beautiful new bathroom. We'd never done Airbnb before and the owner communication made the stay easy and the instructions were friendly and straight forward. With such a hospitable host, I'd strongly recommend to friends and family.

  • This is the perfect home base for exploring Sonoma and Napa wine country! The place is quaint, hip, and has everything you will need! There's also a great washer and dryer and Lori Beth adds personal touches to make you feel at home.

  • We were so pleased with our stay in this cute cottage. It was a comfortable stay in a great location and we couldn't ask for more! Thanks Chris.

    Emily2016-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • The house was adorable. It was within walking distance of downtown, yet was quiet for sleeping. Check-in/check-out was simple. Great kitchen. Would highly recommend.

    Dawn2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Chris' place with my mom and sister for one night while we were visiting Napa. It's centrally located in the town of Napa, but you'll still need a car to get around to all the wineries. The house is cute and comfortable for up to 4 adults. The front bedroom and bathroom are a bit smaller than the master bed and bath in the back. There's a nice outdoor space with hot tub and table, which we didn't use but would be nice if the weather was a bit warmer. All amenities provided - linens, toilet paper, iron, etc. Wifi worked fine, but was a little slow for streaming TV. Would stay here again if visiting Napa with a group and a hotel wasn't an option.

Their home is gorgeous and we felt right at home! Would highly recommend for anyone visiting wine country, conveniently located to MANY wineries and walking distance from Sonoma Plaza!

    Annie2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Susy and Daniel was a real treat. They were wonderful hosts (among the best we've had). We were welcomed with an unreal peach rose water almond milk smoothie. And both mornings our wonderful hosts created beautiful and delicious breakfast treats for us. They also made great suggestions for wineries and lunch. The bed was beyond comfortable and the shower was heaven. Take advantage of the epic backyard. Beautiful and comfortable. Thank you to truly amazing hosts!

    Noelle2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Both Susy and Daniel are super friendly and very thoughtful. I arrived on an evening when it was pouring outside with storm and flood on the road and I was even offered a dinner! The bed/mattress was of premium quality and I had great sleep. Love their towels too. Would love to buy the same brands up for home! :D

Truly very very nice people. The room where we stayed was tastefully decorated and the bed was “heavenly”. We slept great! My house was built in 1924, and has a sweet feel with its high white wooden ceilings and artistic/rustic decor and architecture. There's a porch to sit on and watch the world walk to work at the Sonoma Mission Inn, just across the street. Spacious kitchen and bathroom--shared with me. The small, cozy guest room has a fabulously comfortable bed (queen), and eclectic appointments. The bathroom is roomy with more eclectic touches plus all the basics functioning well (no tub though). During your stay you can explore the Sonoma Valley wine country, the town of Sonoma, or just the neighborhood, which is loaded with restaurants and shops and some fabulous street food, You're welcome to use the big sunny kitchen (there will always be excellent coffee to brew up). This is a terrific walking neighborhood. This house is a half hour away from Santa Rosa or Petaluma, about five minutes to the town Plaza, and an hour to San Francisco.
Being right behind Sonoma Mission Inn on a quiet, tree-lined street, you're within a couple blocks of GREAT breakfast and lunch at Creekside, fabulous coffee at the Barking Dog, mineral-water swimming pool down the street, El Molino Central two blocks away...walking is easy always interesting. Boyes Springs is rich with Latino food, music and families.
  • Had a very brief but nice stay. Kathy is a wonderful host with a very beautiful home.

    Bruce2017-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy was a great Host! She was very welcoming and warm. The location of her home was convenient when either traveling to Sonoma and or Napa.

    Thomas2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I spent three nights at Kathy's house in mid September in order to attend a wedding in Sonoma. She was a very gracious hostess, and gave us as much attention or space as we wanted. The house and yard are very cute. Prospective guests should note that the bathroom is not "en suite" so if you want or need a lot of privacy you may wish to look for another option. But if you are looking for a homey and affordable place to stay in Sonoma we highly recommend staying with Kathy.

    Kelly2016-09-19T00:00:00Z

  • Karen's place has a great location. Very quiet, nice neighborhood, lots of privacy. It was very clean, comfortable bed, lovely linens and spacious shower. She does a great job of making you feel right at home. Would stay there again!

    Erika2015-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's place is a great place to stay if you are visiting Sonoma and/or Napa. It's less than a half hour drive into Napa and just down the road from Sonoma's town square. There's so much to do in the town square and Karen let us know about their Farmers' Market during the week, which is basically a giant party. Her place is beautiful and Karen was a wonderful host!

    Shelby2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • 13/10 would stay here again - the space was convenient to all things Sonoma/Napa and extremely comfortable. Slept better than I have in a while :) Check-in was simple. Great suggestions provided with check-in docs. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you, Karen!

    Ashley2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's Place was absolutely perfect. What a beautiful home, and neighborhood. Everything was exactly as described. The restaurants that Karen recommended were fantastic. We had some of the best meals in Sonoma. I would definitely recommend staying at Karen's place. Nice meeting you Karen!

    Michelle2016-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s place is clean and exactly as advertised. It’s also just a quick drive to the plaza and many local wineries. Perfect spot!

    Frances2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Karens place was wonderfu, welcoming cosy, and as described. Karen contacted us in the day on arrival and asked for ETA, and gave instructions for receiving the key etc. We arrived late which was no problem. The place was easy to find and had an own private entrance and garden. There were a welcomingpaper on the bed with advice for were to eat what to do etc. She also had coffee, water, fridge in the room. We never met Karen but corresponded with her during our stay. Would definitely recommend Karen as the perfect host in cosy Sonoma.

    Eline2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at Karen's place. Our stay was wonderfully comfortable, especially the king size bed! If privacy is what you are looking for, this place is perfect. We loved having a private entrance and our own space. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to meet Karen as our timing did not sync up, but otherwise she was a great host letting us know how to "check in" the night before. Thanks for the great stay, Karen!

    Gabriela2016-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Karen is very accommodating. Her private room is the perfect size for a few nights in Sonoma. She left us suggestions for dinner and activities close by! The bed is extremely comfortable!!

Fully furnished, two story cottage on Napa Creek, two miles from the center of town. The upstairs bedroom has eclectic furniture from the thirties, including a desk and a comfortable queen bed. In the downstairs living room is a queen sofa-bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a drop-leaf table that seats four for dining or games. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, and dishes and silverware for four. There's a washer and dryer and computer and cell phone access. The owner's original watercolors decorate the walls. The location is scenic, quiet and private. Deer can be seen at any time of day. There's a path to the creek. Within walking distance is an upscale grocery store, a restaurant, a coffee/yogurt shop, an animal farm, the Carolyn Parr Nature Museum, and a 110 acre city park with hiking trails and a panoramic view of the city. For shoppers, the Napa Factory stores are a little over a mile away. Good restaurants are plentiful within a two to three mile radius. The Cottage by the Creek is situated in a scenic area that's close to town and only a mile from the freeway.
The site is a hidden treasure, quiet, relaxing and a haven for deer.
  • We had a great time at the cottage. The place was clean and comfortable. Easy access to everything Napa has to offer but with a secluded feel at the same time. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Adorable little cottage in a picturesque location, close to the town centre and many cellar doors. Monroe was also very swift to respond and a pleasure to deal with - I'd recommend his place to anyone visiting Napa.

  • Great house! Nice layout on three separate floors, air conditioning and fans kept it nice and cool. Had a lovely escape weekend.

    Zachary2014-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet - 3 minute drive from downtown Napa 1st & Main, Neat fruit and berry plants, huge trees, cool little creek- awesome wine tours, perfect location, perfect cottage

    Chris2016-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Love the cottage and the location. Convenient for most everything we wanted to do in Napa. Had deer in the yard and woke to owls a few nights. Very clean, very comfortable, with all the amenities. Also quite private. Monroe responded to all questions very quickly and was extremely helpful. We hope to stay there again when we return!

    Kristine2013-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • The listing for The Cottage by the Creek was spot on. It is located close enough to downtown Napa to be convenient by car but secluded enough to be peaceful and calming.

    Rory2015-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was charming and well situated in a lovely, forested bit of Napa normally reserved for the locals. Everything was easy to access and set up perfectly. Thanks for a great stay!

    Leslie2013-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was lovely. While close to a main road, it doesn't feel like it at all because of the trees you see from every window. Monroe was great and sent info a couple of days before our visit so everything was very smooth and easy. Pay attention to his directions with landmarks - they are invaluable!

  • Steve's place was beautiful, love the decor. It was clean and had everything you'll need. Although we didn't get to meet him personally, he was very helpful, friendly and responsive. Would love to stay again!

    Yunfei2016-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here for a week, and we enjoyed it so much. The room is clean and spacious, and its filled with light. The building is still a work in progress, but it didn't bother us at all. We also didn't miss the expensive amenities that fancy hotels have to offer. Downtown Sonoma is only 5 to 10 mins away, and it has tons of great restaurants and interesting stores. I would recommend this place for people who need a comfortable place to stay during a visit in beautiful wine country.

    Bethanny2013-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Steve did a fantastic job of streamlining our stay. He was flexible with our arrival time and provided copious details for finding the place and staying there before we arrived. During our stay there was an ironing board, coffee maker, wine glasses and a corkscrew in the room. These items were invaluable and added a nice touch to our stay.

    Logan2015-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • I thought the space was really nice and loved all the little touches in the room. There were brochures provided as well as a coffee maker and wine glasses. The bed was also super comfortable! However, it was well over 100 degrees during my stay and not having any AC was brutal. The one fan in the room was definitely not enough. My boyfriend and I were on a long road trip and didn't necessarily want to be eating out every night because it gets expensive. I totally understand not wanting to share kitchen space with complete strangers so when I asked Steve if it would be ok to use his stove I understand the no answer. However, I did feel as if his wife was very condescending and rude to me as she shook her head no. I did not feel welcome in their space after being treated in that manner. My boyfriend did accidentally break one of the wine glasses provided in the room during the middle of the night trying to find his way to the bathroom in the dark which we felt bad about. My stay overall wasn't bad but just based on how I was treated I wouldn't stay at the space again.

    Erica2015-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is one of the better places we've booked thru Air BnB. Close to everything one needs with room to spread out and relax. The birds populating the large trees were very active and the entire backyard was spacious and comfy. You will be happy you stayed with Steve, guaranteed!

    Steven2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place was exactly what we were looking for. A wedding weekend pitstop that was comfortable and close to all the action. A quick drive to the square but comfy and cozy when we needed it. Plus the shower is INSANE!!! Steve was accommodating and a pleasure to work with. It was a breeze to work with him and I wouldn't think twice about trying to stay there again.

    Aaron2013-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodations we exactly as listed. Very clean and inviting. Steve had a packet of information with suggestion on places to eat and things to do. The room was VERY clean, and comfortable. We told several friends and would stay again if our travels take us back to Sanoma.

    Tracy2015-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Steve's room was 2 or 3 times as large as the last hotel room I'd stayed at in Sonoma. It was beautifully appointed, complete with the occasional deer passing through the back yard. The place is a ten minute drive to down town Sonoma, but it's a little closer to Sonoma wine country and that has its advantages. Steve was there when I arrived. We met. Exchanged greetings, then he was invisible unless I emailed.

  • My wife and I just spent our 1st Anniversary at the cottage this past weekend. Words really can't describe the experience properly... From the walk down the path to the front door to the drive out on the last day, every piece of this property is fairy tale like. Definitely stock up at whole foods, check out the star gazer, drive into town, visit some wineries, and bring a good book because you won't want to leave the cozy cottage! We would be happy to share our photos with anyone that is interested. Please shoot me a message :-) P.S. It rained Friday night and most of Saturday morning. We had planned to go hiking but ended up stay in, reading books, and enjoying the rain. Didn't ruin a thing!

    Paul2013-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for our honeymoon after 2 days in SanFran. At first when we were driving up the mountain, I may have been cursing at how far it was (but I'm also from Florida and driving in the mountains is a little scary to me), but once we saw the cottage, it was SO worth it! We had an amazing time! We loved hiking out to the stargazing hut, and cuddling on the porch with their very friendly cat Puck. We'd definitely stay here again. Word of advice, definitely listen to them when they suggest stopping at Whole Foods or the market before you check-in.

    Robin2016-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely pristine slice of heaven! Think rainbows, unicorns, magic bridges. Loved every minute❤️

    Andrea2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Claire de Lune cabin is, as promised, secluded and romantic. From the private patio, you see nothing but trees, mountains, and the occasional stray deer. The wood floors were beautiful and the interior very tastefully done. I also really liked that there was access to hiking trails on the property. There's absolutely no internet or cell phone connection, so if you're looking for a place to truly get away, this is it! A couple things to note: The cabin is small, so the kitchenette area and stove are really close to the bed. This was okay for 2 nights, but if you're staying for longer or plan on using the kitchen much, it's probably not ideal. Also, bring CDs or speakers for your iPod if you want to listen to music. All in all, a great place for a weekend getaway in wine country.

    Lindsay2012-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is such a fab retreat, a really cosy, indulgent and relaxing hide-away! Carolyn was great, very good comms and welcoming. The location was good and easy to find from the detailed description provided. Would especially recommend "Fresh" deli and restaurant not far away. The bridge and star gazing cabin were really fun too. Would recommend whole-heartedly.

    Nadine2012-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • From start to finish, this was such a fun experience. Wheather it was doing preplanning by email with Caromia or arriving at this remote spot in a beautiful part of the world. Great recommendations and great time! We were also lucky enough to be there on Valentine's day. Very very romantic.

    Marie2013-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I took my partner up to the cottage as a Valentines weekend surprise, there were many aspects with I felt appealing; the romance of the cottage, the jacuzzi, the bridge, stargazer, and coziness of it all! With the helpful directions provided prior to our trip we found the cottage fine, it's about a 10-15 minute drive up the hill from the nearest main road, and upon arriving couldn't quite believe the beauty and remoteness of the location. The cottage itself was intimate, clean, and everything promised in the photos and description matched reality and more. The location was so quiet and the walk to the stargazer left us wondering if we were even going in the right direction. It's the perfect place to relax and connect. One thing to note: while the kitchen is well equipped with various utensils, pans etc, if you plan on cooking make sure to bring your own oils, spices etc. At one point I wondered aloud if the DVD collection contained Sleepless in Seattle... it did! But the box was empty! In that moment we wondered aloud to each other if the previous guest had left the DVD in the TV. We had to check! The stay had been so relaxing and enjoyable, we knew our fortunes wouldn't falter, and drifted off to sleep to the sounds of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

    Peter2013-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Carolyn and Gary are fantastic! We absolutely loved our stay at the treehouse and cannot wait to return. It was quiet, peaceful and the perfect getaway from your busy life. The star house was the cherry on the top for our visit. The cat is so sweet. We were there to enjoy the weekend and attend a wedding in Calistoga, Carolyn and Gary offered their hospitality and let us be. We never needed anything. Definitely my new favorite place. Thank You!!

Located right downtown Napa near some of the world's greatest restaurants, wineries and scenery! Our home is newly renovated and ready to be enjoyed with premium comfort. The bed is a very pricey plush Sealy King that makes for maximum deep sleep after enjoying a days worth of wine and food. Our home is very large for downtown and is permitted through the City of Napa with all of the additional safety precautions that a hotel must undergo. We (John & Claudio) look forward to hosting you!
Bathroom Kitchen and Living Room access.
We are walking distance to Downtown lifestyles like restaurants and tasting-rooms, massage parlors & pampering shops and Napa shopping outlets. We have easy access to highway 29 which is the gateway to the wineries up valley.
  • Very friendly and welcoming host. Close to down town and fun places to go. We were going to a wedding and John made it so easy for my daughter and I to come back to the place after having our hair done to change and go to the venue even after the check out time.

Our home is located on 2 acres of land on the road between Sonoma and Napa. We are 2 miles from the Sonoma Plaza , a special town park surrounded by wonderful shops, restaurants, tasting rooms, and historic buildings. Nearby are many wonderful wineries including Buena Vista, Sebastiani, Gundlach-Bundschu, Scribe, and Ravenswood.
Our home was built in the 1880s as The Vineyard Villa along the railroad line that took people from the Bay Area to the warm springs in the Sonoma Valley. Our 2-story old white wooden home is a one-of-a-kind place, with porches and 12 foot ceilings. We have 2 bedrooms available for groups up to 4 people. Our primary offering is a cozy room with a queen bed and morning sun. This bedroom is located directly across from the shared, hallway bathroom. We have a second bedroom further down the hall with a double bed and afternoon sun. If you are a group of only 2 and you want separate bedrooms, please select 3 people in your reservation. This will alert me that you want the second bedroom and a fee of $35 will be applied for this separate room for 1 person. Please note that George and I have have our own bathroom, so you only share the hallway bathroom with other guests in your group or with visiting family or friends.
We are close to everything....but it feels like you are in the country. Next door is a deli which is open Monday - Saturday. Around the corner is the Vineburg Post Office. The world-class Sonoma Plaza is close by with many excellent restaurants, music venues, and a movie theater. And of course many, many wineries and tasting rooms nearby including Buena Vista and Gundlach Bundschu.
  • George and Cathy are very sweet people. We enjoyed our stay!

  • The hosts were wonderful! They helped us get around and told us all about the history of the area. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

    Eliza2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The beautiful house of George and Cathy is great located near to Sonoma and many great wineries. The guest room is amazing, big, comfortable and very clean . But the icing on the cake are definitely hosts themself-George and Cathy with their great sense of humour, hospitality and bright and fascinating knowledge about history and US. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we will definitely come back.

    Magda2017-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • We were greeted by family immediately upon arrival, quite sweet. We thoroughly enjoyed the location outside of the immediate town. The Deli is contiguous with the property if we wanted anything. I LOVED the access to the books in the room, lots of variety, lots of topics. Bathroom was directly across the hallway. Helpful. We left early in the morning hence didn't get to meet George nor enjoy their breakfast items.

    Ziva (Anne)2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • George and Cathy's place is cute, simple, and a very good taste of history like their description explains. We enjoyed George telling us a bit of the story of how this house came to be (by way of being a hotel years ago!). While sharing a home, we felt like we had a lot of privacy and a very comfortable room to ourselves. Even with the warm weather, the house stayed cool and the little fan in our room helped as well. We were excited that the internet worked well also!

    Meghan2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Cathy and George's home! Cathy took extra care to make us feel welcome -- and was happy to give us recommendations for our first visit to CA wine country. They provided a nice breakfast in the morning, as well as fresh water in our room. Their house is really cozy -- a nice home away from home -- and seems like a great location for visiting both Napa and Sonoma wineries.

Cozy cottage with charming bedroom, bath and kitchen 2 miles from Sonoma Plaza.
Our cottage is a brand new, 400 square foot private getaway full of farmhouse inspired charm! It features one bedroom with a comfy queen size bed with handmade reclaimed wood headboard and a spacious armoire. The kitchen comes equipped with a vintage 1960 GE refrigerator, 4 burner stove, toaster and microwave. It is stocked with cooking utensils and pots/pans should the need to whip up a meal strike you. We also have a French press, tea pot and blender. The main room has cable TV and a futon that coverts into a full sized bed. Extra linens and a snuggly duvet are available. We also have a dining table for two and a full supply of glassware and utensils. The bathroom is a full 3 piece washroom with roomy shower. The shelves are handmade from wine boxes and the hardware from galvanized steel!
The neighborhood is laid back and family oriented, and just a few minute walk to Maxwell Park. It is also conveniently located close to 3 grocery stores, restaurants (including a great Mexican spot with our favorite burritos and salsa verde) and a coffee shop, and is only 2 miles away from the downtown Sonoma Plaza. We are also located just a mile or so from the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, which has a fantastic spa that features thermal mineral pools unique to Sonoma (they do welcome day guests).
  • We had a wonderful stay at Annabelle's cottage! Heather met us and walked us back to our private cottage. Everything was so clean! Easy access to downtown Sonoma. Peaceful morning coffee in the back garden!

  • What a fantastic place to spend the night after a day in Sonoma! Cute and comfortable with a very cool decor. We hope to stay here again next time!

  • This cottage is amazing! It comes exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend staying here when traveling to Sonoma. Thanks for the great stay, Heather!

  • This was the perfect place to stay while we explored Sonoma/Napa wine country. The cottage is cozy but has all the necessities and is incredibly comfortable. Heather was away while we stayed, but she responded promptly to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. Great spot!

    Reta2015-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed her almost a year go exactly. It was a great time then and was just as good now. The house is very comfortable and has all the little pieces you need to feel at home. The small touches are what really make this experience above most other AirBnBs. Immaculately clean, uncluttered and cozy without being cramped. The decor is creative and appropriate to the area. So much value for what you pay. I am also immensely jealous of their backyard.

    Kory And Liz2015-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect here - we arrived in the late afternoon and were greeted by Heather. We went in and felt right at home immediately. We even had a beautiful and relaxing dinner outside in the garden/patio area after a long day of wine tastings! Thanks!

  • Super cosy cottage that felt like home. Location was perfect for exploring the area. Extremely peaceful and quiet area. I would highly recommend this cottage.

  • We loved taking the cruiser bikes for a ride into Sonoma square - very unique, convenient and fun experience. Heather and her husband were very accommodating. The cottage is nice and private, and overall had a great time staying here.

  • My first Airbnb was a wonderful success! Judy was very easy to communicate with before I arrived. When we arrived, we felt very welcomed into this Airbnb! We were very happy with our private room and bathroom and the breakfast was delicious! We even got fresh out of the oven banana bread! Judy was more then willing to give us advice on wineries and restaurants! All and all if we return back to Napa, we would love to stay here again!

  • Our stay at Main Street Farmhouse for New Year's was wonderful. Tom and Judy are really friendly and gave us an extra bedroom for free. The bedding is very comfortable and extremely clean, it felt like I was curling up in my own bed. The entire place is very idyllic, the perfect B&B!

    Hima2015-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Farmhouse was AMAZING! Tom and Judy were so welcoming and even gave us champaign to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The location is perfect and it was the perfect central location to all the wineries. After a day of tastings we were exhausted and it was so relaxing and cozy returning to the farmhouse. This was our first airb&b experience and it will be hard to top our experience! Thank you Tom and Judy!

Award winning fine dining (Morimoto's, Bounty Hunter, Oxbow Public Market) and entertainment (The Uptown, Blue Note, and Downtown Joe's) are within crawling distance of your cozy and comfortable room. The heart of Downtown Napa is just a short walk across the street over a quaint bridge that crosses the Napa creek. It is really that close!
The neighborhood is filled with old victorians, cottages, and craftsman style homes.
  • Amazing little spot right in Napa! Walking distance to everything you need. Great space with clean, modern and comfortable furnishings. Robert & kerstin were super accommodating & provided fast and quick responses. Easy check in with the lock box right on the door. Felt right at home & the space was better than we could have hoped for. Would def recommend & stay again.

  • These host went above and beyond to ensure our stay exceeded expectations. Their communication was timely, friendly, and clear. The home is gorgeous and tastefully decorated. It is bright and roomy and perfect for two couples. Fresh flowers on the table awaited our arrival as did wine, cheese and crackers. We happened to be there during an unprecedented heatwave but the home has an amazing air conditioning system that kept us cool and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Mere words are not sufficient to praise this property or hosts enough. I plan on returning!

    Marie2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Hands down a fantastic stay! Convenient location CLOSE to everything!! Very QUIET street and the front porch is perfect for lingering... The apartment is GORGEOUS and the attention to detail is evident. From the welcoming bottle of wine, cheese and pitcher of flowers to the whimsical chalkboard signs calling out each bedroom. The beds have been updated to QUEEN and having MEMORY FOAM (divine) mattresses. Kerstin even has little notes in the linen closet to indicate hypo allergenic options. Kitchen is PERFECT for your stay with all ammenties provided PLUS gourmet coffee, cream and even HALF and HALF...did I mention the details? There is a WEBER grill, although we did not use it. A cooler was provided for us upon request to take to Napa Valley for (Website hidden by Airbnb) saved the day as it was still so warm during our visit. It was great to have AIR CONDITIONING with the option to set your own temperatures...really nice touch since we were told that many properties do not have this. Great welcome binder with info to connect to WiFi and Kerstin's tips for what to do while in Napa.... Bathroom is very CLEAN and has a HUGE walk in shower with an endless supply of HOT water!....Two plush bathrobes are in the closets. We did not use them but they looked cozy. There is a flat screen TV but did not use that much either! Unfortunately we did not meet Kerstin but did have a chance to talk to Robert who is very approachable and friendly...we talked about the HUGE cedar tree and LEMON (with lots of them!) tree outside...

Price does not include 12% County tax. Lovely spacious Master bedroom suite with high dormer windows, king size bed, private bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Private entrance and newly built deck. Close to Wineries and the Sonoma plaza.
The outdoor deck has a garden atmosphere and is perfect for relaxing, enjoying a glass of wine, and a good book. Located on a quiet meandering street with deer often grazing in the front yard. Located 2.5 miles from the Sonoma Plaza, 2 minutes from the Sonoma Mission Inn, and 15 minutes away from the designated Scenic Drive through Sonoma Valley with it's wineries.
We live in a quiet neighborhood. The street access is a little narrow in places, but is used just by people who live in the neighborhood.
  • We have a blissful and lovely time here! Our hosts were very sweet and gave us a great suggestion for dinner. The room is completely private and very quiet. The bed was soooo comfortable. The little patio was very nice for breakfast. We have zero complaints.

  • Neva and Robb were the consummate hosts!!! They are very welcoming, had great suggestions for wineries restaurants and day trips. Great attention to all of the details that make a stay comfortable and special. It was a much needed oasis for us!!! Can't say enough great things about our time in their beautiful place!

    Anita2016-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately, we did not get to meet Neva and Robb in person. However, I spoke to Neva on the phone and she was very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we slept in the two mornings that we were there because of the tranquility. They were very thoughtful and left water in the fridge for our outings, and there was Peets coffee, yogurt and English muffins that we could use in the mornings. We loved that there were fresh flowers in the room. There was no television in the room, and even though, we love to watch the news at night, we didn't miss it. We spent so much time out during the day that when we returned each night, we would only have time to get ready for bed, do a little reading and talking about our day, and then go to sleep. It was a very pleasant and peaceful stay. I highly recommend Robb and Neva's place.

  • I stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. The place is quiet, clean, spacious and very well maintained. Neva was kind enough to suggest good wineries and restaurants. Hanna was our favorite! The place is also well stocked with breakfast essentials, toiletries, towels-napkins. I highly recommend this place if you plan to visit Sonoma and Napa.
