Welcome to St. Louis! This quiet and safe place is only 6-min drive to the airport, 9-min to Delmar Loop, 10-min to Clayton, and 15-min to Forest Park. UMSL is right across the street. You will get a cozy bedroom on the 1st floor to stay for the night. We will share the kitchen, the dinning room, and the living room, which are all clean and tidy. Metrolink stops, bus stops, restaurants and convenience/grocery stores are close and easy to find in the neighborhood.
You'll have a private bedroom with a ceiling fan and light. It is 170 square feet and has desk, closet, and drawers. We'll share the kitchen, dinning room and the living room. There's a full bathroom on the 1st and 2nd floor. If there is anything that bothers you just tell me and I will try to fix it. Thanks
safe neighborhood and nice neighbors.

  • It is exactly the way it’s advertised. The only thing I could think about is that I wish the space heater that was in the room worked. Otherwise really nice place, really enjoyed staying here.

  • Wonderful place! I stayed for over a week as I had business at UMSL, which is 10-minutes walk, and this was like a home away from home. It's also very close to the airport so it will be ideal for one-night before / after a flight too. And the value for price can't be beat! David and Mika were very responsive and accommodated every need I had. Would definitely love to stagy again.

With all the charm of a southern provincial Victorian estate in the heart of STL, this solar-powered, recently renovated 126-years-young home boasts a low carbon footprint! A spacious wrap-around veranda overlooks flowering terraces; while the interior offers abundant common space (2 kitchens, sunroom, dining, living, deck, grill). Private rooms come with personal TV, DVD, and guest accounts for Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and HBOnow. Organic raised bed garden in back. Adjacent to YMCA (with pool).
Third floor bedroom, with window AC unit for personalized climate control. Two lightly stocked kitchens. Two bathrooms with renewable bamboo toilet paper and other toiletries. Ample common space, both indoors and out. German Sheppard lives downstairs with owner. Four security cameras protecting entries.
The 'West End' neighborhood lies (you guested it) just West (and a bit North) of the 'Central West End': one of STL's trendiest and haute-est neighborhoods. Solar Urban Oasis rests just a 5 minute drive from Forest Park, one of the nations largest urban parks {well eclipsing NYC's Central Park (840ac)}, with roughly 1300ac. Forest Park houses many cultural icons of St.Louis: the expansive and FREE art museum; one of the country's last FREE zoos; one of the largest outdoor summerstocks in the Americas (The MUNY, w/FREE seats in the back); a boathouse, and Shakespeare glenne, a golfcourse, miles upon miles of trail, et cetera ad nauseam. Just a bit further West is the Delmar Loop, home of the Pageant (amongst other venues), Wash U, and international cuisine marketed toward college/concert goers. To the Southeast, you will find The Grove, on Manchester: a great option for barhopping and local acts. The North side of Forest Park is more residential and less crowded than those to the South, making commuting less troublesome. Solar Urban Oasis resides North of the Delmar Divide. At last census, the neighborhood was 85% Black, 8% White, 4% Hispanic, 3% Asian/Native American/Other. If those numbers make you uncomfortable, please consider other options. Discrimination will be met with only the minimum of civility. Openness and kindness will be matched in hospitality. Along with my son, I have been renovating, flipping, and managing houses in the St.Louis Metro area for almost 20 years; focusing on ethical development: supporting sustainability, revitalization, affordability, and battling gentrification by cultivating neglected historic properties near cultural centers. I live at this property with my 100lb German Shepard, and of all the properties I own or manage around St.Louis, there has never been any issues with safety or theft on the SUO property. I hope that continues as I open my home to you.
  • Wonderful home for a cheap stay with a great host. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom was a super plus, and the amenity basket. Only detractor was that the home is in a slightly sketchy area.

    Andrew2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was by far the best Airbnb my girlfriend and I had either ever been to. Shelley goes above and beyond with amenities as well as providing a comfortable, sparkling clean room. I would come back here time after time.

    Megan2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot recommend Shelley's place enough! Her home is beautiful, everything was clean and extremely organized, and I encountered no issues during my stay. I was a bit worried about finding parking, but street parking is ample. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

    Megan2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Shelley is the best host I've ever had! The location is close to everything, she's very nice and receptive and goes above and beyond to meet your accommodation.

Clean & fresh private bedroom decked in white in a cozy house a 5-minute ride from the airport. My place is more than a private bedroom, as you have mostly exclusive access to the kitchen, dining, and living room to hang out or get work done. Coffee, oatmeal, & eggs available 24/7. Get some work done with super fast WiFi. You'll love the keyless check-in & access to property. Restaurants, ATM, gas station, convenience stores all in walking distance of < 3 minutes. I know what guests want!
    * When you book, please tell me a little bit about yourself, your trip, why you are visiting the area, and the first and last names of all guests. Include the ages of all guests under 25 years old. NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS/VISITORS. Only the guests that are included by name on the booking are allowed onto the property per Airbnb regardless of age. Once booked and accepted, I may ask that you forward a photo of the renter's state/government issued photo ID to the personal email address I will provide via the Airbnb app. The minimum age to rent is 25 for the primary responsible party. Guest IDs may be verified upon arrival to the property as well. Now that we have that part out of the way... My place is for guests that are looking for a cozy, homey experience that offers value and personal interaction that a banal or corporate airport hotel just can’t provide. I’ve been a five-star Airbnb guest since 2015 with at least 50 stays in dozens of countries--check my profile as a guest to verify. I have seen the good, bad, and ugly of the industry…and know what other guests are looking for because I am a veteran traveler. I’ve been to over 60 countries now! Ask me about Bangladesh in your intro for extra points. :) If you’re like me, you want an easy check-in & access the property, be able to get that WiFi password to get online ASAP, get cleaned up with a hot shower, then feel welcome to spread out and enjoy the space, cook a meal, watch TV, all this with minimal guesswork, hassles, where it all flows and is intuitive. I enjoy chatting with guests, but will respect whether you want to chat a lot, a little, or not at all. Also, there are no keys to lose or to return! My place provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone, using a unique virtual key or personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay.
The neighborhood is a safe, working class, mostly residential area with homes built in the ‘40s & ‘50s. The main draw for my place is of course the proximity to the airport, perfect for airline employees, traveling nurses etc. Also, once here, getting food or a quick meal can be done without a car, there are several options within walking distance. The Mexican restaurant just 3 minutes away is a must-try. A convenience store with an ATM is even closer. I have a dry erase / cork board in the dining room that lists other nearby options, most can be reached on foot.
  • I highly recommend staying here, totally a sweet deal. I mean, I got a suite for the price of a private room. I spread out on the dining room table and got some work done, turned that into my own office for a little bit. Paul was a gracious host, turns out he was in the Air Force too & we clicked quite well, turns out we were at a lot of the same bases together, just at different times. He sold me on getting a toilet light for my place too something future guests will marvel over if they have never seen one. The smart TV in the bedroom (LG) has a very interesting remote control used like a wand that reminded me of using a Wii. There’s a store called Hi 5 that sells basic items for survival (beer, soda, laundry detergent, plus an ATM). Cheers, Paul...hope to stay with you again soon.

    Shaun2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for exceeding our expectations! My husband and I just loved Paul’s place and how tidy and tastefully decorated it was. Very welcoming! A hotel room of this level would have easily been triple the price per night. This will be our go-to spot when we have to fly out next time. Super close to the airport. Our uber ride took only 4 minutes to get there! Paul’s place is not close to downtown St Louis but it’s tough to beat it for how close it is to the airport. We walked only a block to get take-out at the local Mexican place upon our host Paul’s recommendation. They don’t speak English very well there but the food was unlike any Mexican I’ve ever had and quite delicious. We managed to order even with the language barrier by pointing and nodding. They said they came from the Michoacan part of Mexico. I never had cactus in a taco before, kind of looks like string beans, and tastes about the same, and very good. I have to have my morning coffee and there was no Bunn, Keurig, or Mr. Coffee that I was familiar with but Paul taught my husband & I to use a French press and it was really great, a very nice upscale touch. Only thing missing was an alarm clock. For sure we’d stay at this place again next time we’re in town.

Every door handle and other places are disinfected with bleach just to be safe. The decor is eclectic and colorful. The space is open and the bed huge and comfy. Quiet one way street. Close to trains so you can hear it in the distance. 300Mbps free high speed internet. No cleaning fee.

I like Foundations Ground coffee. You can drive but I like to walk it. It's 10m from the house. Forest Park is a 5 minute drive and has St. Louis Zoo (free), the Art museum (free), History museum and lots of trees and green areas as you would expect a park to have.
  • We had a lovely brief stay here. The bed was really comfortable and the amenities provided (oatmeal, water bottles, etc) were super helpful. Also love the decor/aesthetic! We had no issues, had access to everything we needed, and would love to stay again in the future. 10/10 would recommend!

  • It's really lucky for me to find a room in Heather's house. It's quite near to WashU and the Metrolink station, also in the walking distance to United Provisions which sells Asian foods. Heather and the roomate Beata are very nice people. And I couldn't forget the night when they invited me to their party, where they made a fire in the yard and made the baked marshmellow (amazing taste!). Heather's warm-hearted and helped me a lot during my short stay. Thank her for all these.

    Masha2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Heather's house is so charming. Great location. The subway is only at a 10 minutes walking distance, the university campus is also very close and the neighborhood is super safe. I didn't get to know Heather very well, since she was also traveling that weekend, but our interactions were super warm. I would completely recommend staying with her, whether you are visiting the university or simply touristing in the city.

    Gabriel2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • My first visit to St. Louis and didn't want to leave. So much to see and do! Heather's space is perfect to relax see the sites - very close to public transit and I rented a bike for a day. I stored some food in the fridge and the kitchen has exactly what you need. Bed comfy and shower - lovely. Used the laundry facilities, so convenient. I lucked out as Heather was available to introduce me to a couple local events making the visit so rich and engaging. Forest Park is nearby and worth a visit - it will take at least a day to enjoy the free museums and zoo! Thank you for an exceptional Airbnb experience.

  • The place was perfect for my husband and myself. It’s clean and location was great. Gilda was very quick to respond and offer any help as needed. The Energy in the space was good feeling. We did leave early because of the coronavirus. No fault to ours or hers.

  • Great place and value. About a 10 min drive to anything you need. Safe neighborhood. If the other room isn’t reserved, then you have the whole upstairs to your enjoyment. Fenced in back yard for your pups. They have 3 dogs, too. Great couple, very friendly. Bed was super comfy. Would stay here again.

  • Ryan’s place is great. The room was very comfortable, the little 1/2 bath I had was nice to have. The price is perfect. The neighborhood is great, lots of stores and restaurants nearby, easy commute for me to get to work. This was my first stay of two. My second stay is for 2 1/2 months until I finish my contract. It’s really a great place for an extended stay.

  • Ellen's space is wonderful for short or longer stays. There is a large sitting room with a TV, playstation, and roku device (which we didn't even use). Plenty of outlets and fans for cooling and white noise. Shower was hot with good water pressure. Bed was comfy and there was a soft throw for my afternoon nap. The surrounding area has so much to offer and was safe enough for nyself and my son to travel on foot late night. Stay at Ellen's, you won't be disappointed!

    Suzanne2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great house in a nice neighborhood close to the Loop and Wash U. The room had everything you could need, and Ellen was really welcoming!

    Harris2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The home is lovely and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Easy street parking right in front of the house. The bedroom is wonderful with a private adjoining sitting room with a work desk, TV and 2 leather chairs. You also have a nice private bathroom/shower. The bed was very comfortable with quality linens and blankets. Ellen is the perfect host who makes you feel right at home the minute you meet her. I only stayed 1 night but look forward to many future visits!

  • I had a wonderful sty at Ellen's place. The apartment was easily accessible and located in a fantastic area (plenty of eateries/bars around and walking distance to the zoo/museum/campus). Ellen was very, very pleasant and communicated quickly, addressing any concerns and questions I had. This might be the best value stay you'll find in the area. Would highly recommend!

  • Had an excellent stay at Kalen's place, the "STL Farmhouse"! We stayed during the process of relocating to the area from out of state, and while our second child was due for delivery (and was in fact born). Kalen was very friendly, supportive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. The location is great and we loved how the house has a big backyard and sits at the end of the street near a walking path and playground. It has everything you need and more for a great price. Highly recommended.

    Benjamin2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome huge yard for 2 Dobermans!!! Awesome walking path right outside the yard to a very neat park! Screened in porches were fun to stay in and the Host took care of us extremely well! Will surely stay again!

    Guido2019-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • The St. Louis Farm House provided us a very comfortable stay when my friend and I concluded an 800 mile bike trip from South Carolina. Kalen made the check-in easy. The place is super clean and creatively decorated. The kitchen had what we needed to cook. It is right next to a bike trail which made our arrival easier and will provide recreational opportunities during our your stay. There is only one bedroom, but the bed is very comfortable. My friend slept on the floor because that worked better for his sore hip, so I can't comment on the futon in the living room as a sleep option. We were very happy with the place, and Kalen was attentive but unobtrusive. Highly recommended.

  • We really loved having a cute place where we could have our show dogs while showing at Purina Farms 45 minutes away. Bed was super comfy, neighborhood was quiet and back yard was the BOMB.

You will get a twin-size bed in a tiny bedroom on the 2nd floor to stay. Kitchen, bathroom and dinning room will be shared. Metrolink stops, bus stops, restaurants and convenience/grocery stores are close and easy to find here. Please read about the listing before booking. Thanks.
You'll have a small bright and cozy private bedroom with a big closet and a brand new ceiling fan with a remote control. We'll share the kitchen, dinning room and the living room. There's a full bathroom on the 2nd floor and a half bathroom in the basement. This room used to be my study, which I rarely used. So I moved away all my books and changed it into a guest room, which is good for a short stay if you don't mind the smallness of the room. Important Note: This twin-size bed can only accommodate ONE guest who weights below 290 lbs. Those who don't sleep comfortably on a twin-size bed are not recommended to book this room. Instead, they are recommended to book the Clean and quiet Belnor room 1 or 2 in St. Louis. (2017-2018 © Cindy Le. All Rights Reserved.)
Safe neighborhood with nice and kind neighbors.
  • Cindy is a very thorough, detailed, and friendly host. I've had pleasure of staying at two of her homes, and sincere pleasure, both are very clean, safe, comfortable, and organized. Cindy will help you stay on track to ensure that her house is kept in that condition for all her guests, current and future, so all can be staying w/in a safe and healthy environment. Both houses are convenient to the north side of the city, w/in ~15 minutes to UMSL, STL airport, and the like, with many great local restaurants available too. Wonderful host.

  • Cindy is a helpful and attentive host. I enjoyed my stay.

    Mirinda2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy is very nice and works hard to make a good place for people to stay. To help others find a good fit, I would add a couple things to the description: She has guests in 4 rooms, so there is a bit of a boarding house feel; but the people were nice and it was a plus for me. Also there are many rules and procedures posted around the house; Cindy keeps the house clean and safe and running well, and she has learned from guests who were not so considerate. I had a great time there; but it is not the place for people who want to "do their own thing", are not so clean, etc.

Cozy apartment in Maplewood CENTRALLY LOCATED-close to downtown and everywhere you might want to go in St. Louis. Double bed, single bed, short futon, two comfy chairs, desk, microwave, fridge, hotplate, coffee maker, sink, bathroom, use of washer, dryer - detergent and softener provided. Entire house has central heat and air (vent opens into the basement), as well as wall heaters and fans. As this is a basement space (partially below ground level), the temperature stays quite comfortable.
This is a small space in a very safe, centrally located neighborhood in St. Louis - a few miles from Washington University, close to downtown, St. Louis University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Forest Park, St. Louis Zoo, the Art Museum and so much more! There are two cats and one dog living with me so, if you have allergies, this may be an issue :) There may be doggy noise from above...we rise early.
I love living in Maplewood because it is so centrally located - 10 or 15 minutes from almost everything. This is a quiet, family area, with friendly neighbors. There is a lovely coffee shop a block away - Stone Spiral and a main street 3 blocks away. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and "Strange Donuts!"
  • My wife and I booked Mila’s place for an entire month as we transitioned from Bend, Oregon to St. Louis MO. We could not have dreamed of a better host and space during of first few weeks in this new city! Mila is endlessly kind, whenever we had a request or mild complaint she was quick to respond and help. Absolutely worth the value!

The area is very quaint and nice, right off the highway from downtown and there is a convenience store right at the end of the road for anything you might need (that Mila hasn’t already provided :) ) Overall an amazing stay, perfect for a quiet getaway!

  • If you're keen on new encounters with special people always on the move in a hippie, relaxed and cool environment, then this is definitely the place for you. The neighbourhood is authentic, with colonial-style St Louis houses lined up for the pleasure of the eyes, and the host, Jazz, is as cool as can be: welcoming, simple, and easygoing. She has created an environment for cool and open-minded travelers, an underground community of modern-day nomads who, when in Jazz's place, are always ready for an interesting exchange or a talk around a bonfire. Personally I had evenings straight out of Jack Kerouac's On the Road and would renew the experience any time again.

Cozy and bright room with window AC unit, for personalized climate control.
The greenway starts 2 blocks away and heads straight (2 miles) to the Museum in Forest Park. Delmar Loop and Central West End are 2 miles away. Within 5 miles are the Zoo, Science Center, Fabulous Fox Theatre, Mo Botanial Gardens, Tower Grove and the City Museum. The Arch is 6.5 miles away, as is the Cardinal Stadium or Soulard. Cherokee Street or the Anheuser-Busch Brewery are only 8 miles away.

  • The house is beautiful and a great place to stay. The neighborhood was questionable. A great value for a long term stay. House is on a cul de sac, so vehicle traffic is very minimal. Parking in front of the residence is well lit.

Experienced travelers rejoice! Take in the historic charm of my spacious 7BR/4BA West End manor. 24-hour keyless entry to both the house and your own bedroom. Guests have full access to the kitchen, 3 shared bathrooms, dining/living rooms and reading lounge. Free WiFi included. Plenty of free parking. The West End: Historic family homes, quiet street, only 5 minute drive to BJC and SLU campuses, 7 min to downtown. Exactly 1 mile from Forest Park / BJC hospital and Wash U med school.
Beautiful Victorian home with tons of original hand-carved woodwork and plenty of character. First floor is the common area with foyer, living, dining, kitchen and half bath. Laundry/sunroom off the kitchen leads to the backyard deck. Bedrooms are on 2nd and 3rd floors along with 2 shared baths (host uses the master bath). For the introverts, the walls are thick and the WiFi is quick. Feel free to relax in your bedroom or the reading lounge. For the extroverts, there are a total of 7 bedrooms shared between myself and fellow travelers, so feel free to mingle on the common floor at your leisure.
Our neighborhood was built to support the 1904 World's Fair. Academy has had ups and downs since then, but we're back on an "up." Many of the homes are in early or mid-stage renovation. It's exciting to see these wonderful old homes being lovingly brought back to life! The Central West End (a few blocks over) has a huge variety of shops, restaurants, galleries, comedy, music, nightclubs and 24-hour cafes/coffee shops for your entertainment needs. We have a few bookstores and even the World Chess Hall of Fame. My place is a 5-minute bike ride or Uber to Forest Park (Zoo, golfing, tennis, art/history museums), BJC, SLU, and only 1 mile to I-64, 2 miles to I-44.

  • Clean space and easy check in. Older home so you can hear creaking whenever the other people staying in the next rooms open any doors/go to the bathroom/walk down hallway. Decent value for the price.

  • My daughter and I like to visit the Delmar Loop for the yearly Ludo concert at the Pageant. This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Chris offers a renovated old home with all the amenities. He is a true professional and works hard to see to the comfort of his guests. The neighborhood is in a revitalization phase, and many houses on the block are top notch. My daughter and I felt very safe coming and going, even at very late hours. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!

  • Amanda was such a sweet host. Her place was super clean and so so cute. It was the coziest AirBnB I’ve ever been in, and her pups were a delight. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay on our trip!

It’s clean, comfy and safe in a very quiet neighborhood. A nice size room with a closet, a queen bed for guest(s), a table or desk with space for a laptop, and a comfortable chair to work. It's a shared bathroom and the Kitchen is available with enough room in the refrigerator. A great location, walking distance to bus stops, restaurants, convenience/grocery stores, banks and other places. Parking available in driveway or on the street . 10 to 12 minutes to St Louis airport.
  • In this challenging times, it is great pleasure to find a host and place that is so friendly, clean, and welcoming as with Felix. Had the pleasure to speak with him few times during my too short stay, great man, highly recommend staying at his home if in the northern part of the STL city/county area, close to many conveniences (which sadly are somewhat of challenge to enjoy at this moment due to the CoVid-19 situation), but nevertheless, Felix's hospitality and home are 100% top-notch, great man and host. Look forward to staying there again, and maybe going fishing!

It’s a quiet complex, which is also nice. Lee’s home is comfy and clean, and he is a very helpful and communicative host If you’re looking for a short stay in a good area and at a great price this is definitely the place.

  • Awesome place. And Levi is very nice and kind.

    Bumwon2018-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Levi’s place was very nice and he seemed friendly, we only exchanged a quick hi and he asked us if we needed anything. I appreciate how flexible he was with our check in time. My boyfriend and I were talking about how great a stay it was when we left in the morning, just then we saw our car’s window was smashed and broken into. Totally not Levi’s fault in anyway but it was a bummer to an otherwise very chill stay!

You'll have a private bedroom with a brand-new ceiling fan and light. It is 200 square feet and has a desk, closet, and bed. It also comes with another room with your own refrigerator, couch, and another desk. We'll share the kitchen, dinning room and the living room. There's a full bathroom on the 1st and 2nd floor. Metrolink and bus stops, restaurants, and convenience/grocery stores are close by. Please read before booking.
You'll have a very bright (if you open the curtains) private bedroom on the 1st floor with a brand new A/C and a new ceiling fan with a remote control. We'll share the kitchen, room and the living room. There's a full bathroom on the 2nd floor and a half bathroom in the basement. This room used to be my sunroom, which I rarely used. So I changed it into a guest room. If you love nature, you'd love this room because you can see the green views in the backyard in three directions.
