Just booked in Purbeck District

A truly amazing floating tree house set in a spectacular private location in beautiful Dorset countryside. Tastefully decorated with everything you need for a cosy, romantic break. Mains power, Heating, Stereo, hot and cold water, toilet and showers. A basic kitchen with grill plate and everything you need, a fire pit, Bbq and a double bed with far reaching views. Simply an incredible and unique space for a romantic getaway. You will need to bring Bedding, towels and Ice for the Cooler box.
Built in the trees on top of a bank with a great view. Peaceful, purposefully basic, but has everything you actually need, to have a cosy romantic time. We have uninstalled wifi so you can actually enjoy talking to each other and listening to music on the sound system, being in nature and de-stressing. Feel free to walk around the site and see deer and great woodland to enjoy. You are only 2 minutes away from shops and great pubs if you need anything.
Quite, yet only 10 minutes away from Wimborne, Poole and Sandbanks beaches, The jurassic coast for walking and fossil hunting, and many other amazing Dorset attractions. There is a great car boot sale at Ashley wood if your a bargain hunter and numerous good country pubs.
  • A very special secluded space where my boyfriend and I spent a lovely night .... we had a fire and a BBQ .... chatting and laughing under the trees ....very private and magical location. We loved the pod tree house ....unique and comfortable. The showers were just great too. Would definitely recommend. Thank you !

  • A great get away

  • Fantastic quirky place to stay! Secluded site but close enough to shop and larger seaside towns! Great to have a BBQ and chill by the fire pit at night!

  • I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend, we had a lovely weekend, happy with stay, we had everything we need. The small gas can did run out for the portable hob thing when we arrived but we contacted Ben and someone came and gave us another one which was handy. Definitely will stay again! Thanks XX

  • Really cool and quirky place - we would definitely stay again!

  • Great place. Need to add a toilet to shower block - portakbin not the best it could be. Not bottle opener which is bizarre as everything else was there. All in all a great

  • Wow. I mean, I'm not sure I can find quite the words to describe just how magical & breathtaking a place this is. Honestly. You really have to see it for yourself! My boyfriend took me here for a birthday weekend surprise & we were both absolutely blown away by how gorgeous it is. It's the perfect place to spend quality time together away from the everyday hustle & bustle. Enjoy a campfire, bbq, cartwheel in the fields. There's even ropes & tree swings! We took a trip to Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove which were just a half hour drive away. The treehouse itself is just wonderful! Super cosy & equipped with pretty much everything you could need. We didn't end up needing much contact with Ben as the directions were bob on and check-in was so straight-forward, but we did drop him a call and he was easy to get hold of and friendly! If you're thinking of going here, just do it. I'd be stunned if you regret it!

Be Gabriel Oak, in far from the madding crowd in Dorset! The Shepherds hut has its own small log burner to make it nice and cosy to sleep in the comfy double bed. Situated in the woodland, it is off grid and you will be able to fall asleep to the sound of our owls after a day of walking the coast line and visiting the RSPB at Arne where BBC2 Autumn & Winter Watch has been filmed. Beware that there are the night time noises of the foxes barking, the deer rutting and the owls twitt twooing,
This is in the style of Glamping. Listen to the night time countryside sounds as you go to sleep and wake up to dawn chorus. Be prepared to light the stove to keep you warm and experience life as the shepherds once did. You will need to bring your own sleeping gear eg sleeping bag, blankets and pillows, towels, torch and toiletries. If you would like us to supply bed linen then we are happy to do this for an extra £10. We will provide you with a breakfast hamper to cook in the shepherds hut for your first two mornings of any stay. There is a miniature Belfast sink which you pump the water into from a foot pump in the floor. If you want warm water then you will need to heat it in the kettle on the gas stove. Gas is provided. There is so much to do from this base here. You really will find that 2 days is not enough time hence we do a discount for 5 days because we know that you will need more time to see and do everything that there is here to do, so message me so that I can do a special price for you.
Once again voted by the Guardian as the best place to live in England, Wareham has a great Saturday market every week come rain or shine. There is a farmers market on the 4th Thursday of the month and a weekly produce market run by the local auctioneers. There is also an urban farm shop called the Salt Pig and two supermarkets the Co-op and Sainsbury's.
  • The shepherds hut is exactly as it looks in the pictures. The hut has been very thoughtfully kitted out with everything you might need during your stay. We visited as a couple and had very comfortable, long sleeps on the pull out bed. It is an easy walk into Wareham which is very picturesque with plenty of good pubs and places to eat. This is also a great base for exploring the surrounding Jurrasic Coast area. Jenny was a friendly host and we felt there was always someone around should we need anything. We would highly recommend this hut experience for anyone thinking about trying it.

  • Greg and I had a wonderful time staying in Jenny and Tony's shepherds hut. It was every bit as cosy as we expected after reading the other reviews. And the breakfast was delicious. Lovely hosts, lovely place, big thumbs up. Thank you both very much.

  • My boyfriend and I had a really great experience at Tanglewood. The shepherds hut was super cute and cosy - the grounds were amazing, the breakfast provided was delicious and the yummy chocolate cake on arrival was a lovely touch! We really couldn't have been more happy! Jenny and Tony are great hosts, they made us feel right at home - as soon as we left we wanted to come back. Thank you for a great stay!

  • Thank you Jenny and Tony for a perfect break. The hut is clean cosy with lots of lovely homely touches. The weather was not great for our trip but we still had a brilliant time, cups of tea and a cosy fire. Tony and Jenny were very welcoming and couldn't help us enough and turned it from just a great break to feeling like we were staying with friends.

  • I booked this as a last minute mid-week break for my husband and myself. Jenny was helpful in the booking process and both she and Tony were there to meet us at check in. Tony showed us how everything worked and where the shower room was. During our stay they were very helpful when needed but other than that we didn't see them. The hut is lovely, just like the photos. We stayed on 2 of the coldest nights of the year but with the fire on it was really toasty. We really wanted to get away from it all and this was perfect - no electricity and no phone signal.

  • The place is exactly as described here. The box with things for breakfast was wonderful and I very much appreciated the local honey as it helped me with my allergy. The area is full of places to visit and not far from the beach and castles. The hosts are very kind, helpful and provide great information in a printed document that we used the whole weekend.

  • What a lovely retreat for myself and my partner in the Purbeck Woodland. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the sweet little Shepherds Hut. Our host Jenny & Tony were absolutely incredible showing us the facilities, local attractions around the woodland, Stoborough, Wareham and around. We especially love to be able to make our breakfasts using the little hamper Jenny provided us with fresh local produce. We stayed two nights and felt it was a little short. We to return perhaps in different time of the year - winter, so we can light up a fire, stay warm and cozy in the lovely hut.

  • Lovely rustic getaway, perfectly situated, warm and cosy.

A thatched cottage set in a quiet countryside location but only a short drive to the county's beautiful beaches and attractions. The cottage is ideal for a family, couples and anyone wishing to get away for a luxury Dorset break. Furnishings, bed linens and decoration are all of the highest quality and outdoors there is lounge and dining furniture for you to enjoy, set against a backdrop of the Purbeck Hills.
The cottage, whilst looking period, is in fact relatively new so you can enjoy all the benefits of a modern property with generous sized rooms, modern double glazing/central heating and every creature comfort. The private entrance hall complete with downstairs washroom leads to the cottage's main lounge/diner with ample seating, TV/DVD and B&O bluetooth speaker. The fully equipped kitchen is home from home with hob/oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, Dualit toaster/kettle and Krups Nespresso. Upstairs via the reclaimed feature spiral staircase are beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms (1 with bath/1 with shower), luxury linens and fluffy towels. Outside, you'll find dedicated outdoor seating and dining areas and the delightful garden with winter-born stream.
The cottage is set in idyllic rolling countryside with views south to the Purbeck Hills and easy access to Dorset's famous beaches and harbour, Sandbanks, Lulworth Cove and Chesil Beach. Tower Park can be found 15 minutes away offering a 9-screen cinema, bowling, numerous restaurants, water park and superstore. Lytchett Matravers village is a 5 minute drive away where there is a Tesco Express, village shops and recreation ground with play equipment.
  • A lovely countryside location. Comfortable home with great facilities and a warm welcome. Great access to many places in East Dorset, Jurassic Coast, Poole and Swanage. Views are lovely with Corfe Castle in the distance. Thank you. I’m sure we will see you again for a future trip to the area.

  • I can not recommend this place enough! The house is nicely situated to be able to explore the Jurassic coast, Dorset, and Poole with just a short drive. It is surrounded by rolling hills, and the views out the windows are beautiful! If the weather is nice you can even enjoy the scenes from the lovely patio and garden. Our hosts went out of their way from the moment we got there to make sure we felt welcomed and were comfortable. Little touches like milk in the fridge and tea and coffee available after a long day of traveling were so nice! When we had questions Paula or her husband would respond immediately. They were very thoughtful as well, for instance when we were checking out it was pouring rain so our host walked each of us to the car with his large umbrella. The rental is in the adjoining cottage so it is completely separated yet, easy to get in touch with hosts. The house itself was quite comfortable. Everything felt new, fresh and clean. There are three bathrooms available and all of them are large! Beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were a nice size as well. It is family friendly so long as your child is capable of going up and down a spiral staircase like it says in the description. The whole house was accurate to the pics with additional nice touches like an excellent dvd collection and games to play. We would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks for the lovely retreat!!

  • We loved Paula's little cottage in the Dorset countryside. It has been so thoughtfully laid out and beautifully appointed, with lots of lovely little touches. It made us feel really at home. We were very happy to discover that each bedroom has an en suite bathroom (one with bath and one with shower) and there is also a downstairs cloakroom. The area is lovely, with excellent views and only a short walk to the village. Great for walking, driving, and sightseeing. Paula was extremely friendly and helpful, especially when we were trying to find the cottage in the dark! We would strongly recommend this as a place to stay for a quiet getaway and/or as a base for exploring the area, which has plenty to offer.

  • We stayed at Richard's place for just the one night and he was extremely accommodating, helpful and a lovely host! He even lent us his two bikes for the day. The room was very nice and cosy with a lovely en suite bathroom - perfect for a couple! Will definitely try and come again.

  • An excellent location ideally placed for both the town centre and the park/front. Richard was friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and provided maps and info regarding the town and where to eat and drink. Richard’s home was spotlessly clean, with everything provided that you could need. A great host all round. A fantastic introduction to airbnb, would certainly recommend!

  • Richards home was exactly as described and was clean and comfortable throughout. Nice breakfast in the morning and close to the main town. Parking on the drive was a nice bonus. Although we only stayed the one night we would return if we were in Poole again.

  • We did stay for a week at Richards house and enjoyed it very much. He is a nice guy which advised us to the region a bit. We had a chance to have a barbeque togeter talking about the differences and the similarity of our country's. Very nice conversation. We would be to be able to come back and stay at "Richard's) ;-)

  • Warm welcome from Richard. Handy location in Poole & good accommodation.

  • It was lovely to stay at Richard's house. He was welcoming and explained where we could go to eat out and cycling routes. The room was as described and the location in Poole is very convenient. Thank you for having us. Hilary

  • What a lovely place to stay and Richard was very welcoming. It was lovely to be so close to Poole Quay as this fitted in great with my Powerboat course with Absolute Aqua. Thanks again :)

  • We had a great team staying at Richard's house and felt like a home. The room and bathroom were good to stay in and we could use the facilities in the house like the living and the kitchen. Richard's place is close by the Poole Quay where restaurants are and nearby the town center of Poole. Shops and a supermarket are close by as well the railway-and busstation. Like I Richard is a musician?double bass player so we had a lot of bass talk in common. Richard told us a lot about the environs and we made a beautiful bus ride by public transport on advice of him. Even Richard solved a minor administrative problem with AIRBNB ! Richard's home is dearly recommended if you want to be in Bournemouth/Poole.

  • The pod was wonderful and a really cosy place to stay. It was particularly enjoyable to sit outside in the evening with the fire lit. The location was great; very quiet and remote on a farm setting but an easy drive to places like Lulworth and Corfe Castle. The toilet facilities were a little rudimentary but that didn't take anything away from the experience.

  • Amazing stay, fully equipped and so cosy and quiet. Lovely little getaway :)

  • This location is about 15 minutes from Durdle door and 15 minutes to the castle. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this Air B&B. The hut was clean and cozy with indoor heating. I loved the scenic drive to the property.Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.

  • Idyllic hut! Attentive host!

  • Very nice place to stay!

  • Lovely property in good location. Good modern decor and we found it very clean and comfortable.

  • We stayed at this lovely apartment on an unfortunately rainy weekend - Therefore we weren't able to fully appreciate the benefits of this apartment i.e balcony and view, which by the look of it, would have been great to enjoy! Beautifully decorated and comfortable stay for the night. We would love to stay again when the Summer returns! Thanks

  • Very comfortable stay and so close to the day excursions we wanted to do (durdle door, sandbanks). Barbara was a great host!

  • Lovely place, convenient location and very helpful host. Nothing to complain about :)

  • Great place to stay, which is very central to Poole Quay and Hamworthy Park. The flat is beautiful, great for a family, we had a lovely sleep, and will defnatley be returning.

  • We spent a single night before crossing the Channel. The house was exactly as expected and described. It was very clean and everything was there for us to feel at home. Barbara was a very agreable and helpful host.

  • Very clean flat. Right near the bridge to Poole harbour and all the boats to Brownsea island.

  • This apartment was great for us. We stayed over whilst visiting Camp Bestival nearby as we didn't fancy camping with 2 kids and a baby. Barbara was a great host and was very accommodating for us as we needed a slightly later check in time. The whole place was immaculately clean and very comfortable and warm. We will certainly book again.

  • Good location within walking distance of Poole quay. Close to local bus stops. Very comfortable, clean and nice decor. Barbara very welcoming and allowed us a late check out so we didn’t feel rushed. Tea, coffee and milk provided with cookies which was really nice after nearly a 3 hour drive. Would definitely stay there again.

  • Small upstairs flat served our needs perfectly for our one night stay. Very well kept, lovely comfortable double bedroom and good sized bunk beds for our 14 and 11 year olds. The small but perfectly formed kitchen had everything we needed, brand new pans, baking trays and utensils. My personal favourites were the retro themed seaside mugs! Barbara (who lives downstairs) was very helpful, all messages were answered straightaway and we had no problems at all finding the flat. We would definitely stay again if in the area for a short break, the flat is around 15/20 minutes drive from Poole Harbour and the Sandbanks ferry.

Other stunning walks and bike routes begin right from our doorstep. You can explore the woods leading down to the sea at Arne, where you will often encounter deer and other wildlife, or walk the ridges - Nine Barrow Down on one side of us and Flowers Barrow on the other, enjoying spectacular views of the sea on one side and the secret backwaters of Poole Harbour on the other. This is a place where it is still possible to get 'Far From the Madding Crowd'. The traditional Dorset landscapes described by Thomas Hardy - survive here, almost untouched by time. Purbeck is a beautiful place to visit, whatever the season. In summer it is a wonderful area for outdoors adventure (biking, hiking and spectacular beaches), historical re-enactments in the old castle, and musical events (blues, jazz, reggae, and folk festivals, & just about everything else – including Camp Bestival at Lulworth). In winter, gusty walks along the cliffs can still be great - followed by a cosy drink and meal in front of a roaring fire in one of the many local pubs. Rainy days can be spent visiting some of romantic old houses at Athelhampton, Kingston Lacy, Lulworth Castle. Or literary enthusiasts might enjoy the quaint cottage of novelist Thomas Hardy (Far from the Madding Crowd and Tess of the Durbervilles) at Bockhampton, and Lawrence of Arabia’s house at Cloud’s Hill – untouched since he left it. The old Rex Cinema is also an experience – the last in the country with gas lighting! At Christmas – Corfe’s quaint village square is lit up and Father Christmas arrives by hay cart to personally give a present to every child in the village, while the adults enjoy a drink and BBQ. Coastline & beaches The South West Coast path, starts in Purbeck and heads West to Devon. Our local coastline is also a UNESCO natural world heritage site (the 185 million year old “Jurassic Coast”). Aside from stunning scenery, fossils, and cliffs – the Purbeck coast offers a variety of beaches for every taste • Three miles of award winning golden sands at Studland • The family friendly beach at Swanage with its beach huts, watersports and summer “Punch and Judy” shows • Fossils and rock pools at Kimmeridge • Fabulous views of the backwaters and islands of Poole Harbour at Arne (also an RSPB bird sanctuary) • Secluded smugglers' beaches at Chapman’s Pool and Worbarrow Bay (a short walk from the ghost village at Tyneham) • Dancing Ledges with its dinosaur footprints, caves and swimming in the sea pool in the rocks • And of course, Lulworth Cove with its beautiful cliffs and world famous rock formation at Durdle Door. Other Activities The quaint stone village of Corfe itself is dominated by the romantic ruins of Corfe Castle. Over 1000 years old, Corfe was built by William the Conqueror and destroyed by Parliamentarians during the English Civil War. In summer, there are open air theatre productions and historical re-enactments. From Corfe you can hop onto the heritage steam railway to the seaside town of Swanage, or the old Saxon river town of Wareham, from where boats wend their way downriver and around the unspoilt islands of beautiful Poole Harbour (Brownsea Island has wild peacocks and red squirrels). Bird-watchers and animal lovers will love the birds and deer of the Arne Peninsula and Studland Heath. The large ape sanctuary at Monkey World (made famous by the TV series “Monkey Business” is also only a few miles away. The area also offers fishing, horse riding, high ropes in Rempstone forest, scuba diving & other watersports of all kinds.
  • If you have planned a trip to Corfe Castle that would be the best place to stay!

  • Lovely friendly host, clean house, hot shower, soft towels, amazing views from window in double room and shower of corfe castle. Denise is happy to give directions and ideas or where to eat/go for walks. Has tea and coffee to help self to and fresh eggs/bread/cereal which is lovely touch. Also parking on drive. Definetley would recommend here to stay- and explore the beautiful area.

  • Denise and her husband Ken are superb and patient hosts with an extensive love and knowledge of Dorset. Their home is lovely; warm and welcoming, and comfortable. The walk into Corfe over the tumuli behind the house is really special: horses and cattle grazing, wild flowers and wonderful fresh air. Our double room had a fantastic view of the castle. Conversation at breakfast is enhanced by Rupee the parrot. She resides in the conservatory and is extremely good company. So, lovely hosts, gorgeous place and an area for all sorts of activities from the more physical to relaxing over good food. Highly recommended.

  • We've had an excellent stay at Denise's place in a lovely room with a nice view on Corfe castle. Very homely place ideally located to discover the surrounding countryside and coast. Denise, her husband and their parrot are lovely hosts, picking us up from the train station and with lots of activity suggestions for both sunny and rainy days!

  • denise is very friendly and a great host. the loft where the bedroom is has beautiful views and a lovely fresh breeze if you open the windows. the bed is comfy too.

  • When I showed my interest for a room in Poole, Denise suggested I would come to Corfe Castle, since I wanted to bike and hike. It turned out to be a very good idea! I stayed in the house Denise and Ken were living, so I could enjoy their very interesting company: they have been to places almost no one has ever been, and they are both very talented storytellers! Moreover, the room and the house were perfect: tasteful interior, absolutely clean, well equipped. Finally, the peninsula is wonderful and diverse. Cliffs, beaches, heather, fields, villages, castle, ... Plus easy to be explored by bike. If you go to Dorset, go to Corfe Castle and book a room at theirs.

  • Great place to stay, clean, comfortable, and a great position. Will definitely be back. Had a lovely meal in Castle Inn, the pear and ginger pudding to die for. Thoroughly recommended!

  • Engaging and considerate hosts. Charming and comfortable room. Highly recommended.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at little gem, we always have a good sleep and your privacy is respected. Little Gem is bigger than most places we have stayed in and very convenient for all amenities in and around Dorset. Sue offers a little basket of goodies which are welcoming and well received. Little Gem is clean, spacious and just a wonderful place stay. Thank you Sue & Rob and I am sure we will be back again soon.

  • What a place this is - with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break away, Little Gem has it all. Everything was super clean and tidy with modern furnishings, a ridiculously comfy bed and first class central heating. Sue was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived, whilst also giving us our privacy throughout the whole stay. The location was within walkable distance to a small Tesco and also a brilliant Fish and Chip shop, which we had the pleasure of trialling. Overall we would highly recommend staying in this beautiful place!

  • Samantha's home is larger than it seems from the photos. The standard and decor are very tasteful and whilst it is a family home you dont feel like you are intruding. I felt very comfortable and cosy with all I could have wanted or needed at my disposable. I will be coming again.

  • Perfect!..We stayed for a month between a house move. Karen who looks after the house helped us with anything we needed, very friendly and perfect host. Sam (owner) and Karen were very accommodating and very quick to answer any questions. Pets are welcome which is great as we have a dog and cat. The garden is very safe for pets and children being completely enclosed. The house was very clean and the heating is brilliant. Quiet cul de sac, comfy bed, very clean, well equipped kitchen, powerful shower, comfy reclining sofa to watch the provided Netflicks. The local area is beautiful with loads of good walks, handy shops, golf course and two pubs are 5 mins walk. Definitely recommend.

  • A lovely home from home. Clean, comfy and spacious. Perfect for a few days away from home. Nice and easy to follow instructions to find the property and some great suggestions on days out. Thanks for letting us use your home.

  • This house is just perfect, very homely and has everything you would ever need!! We felt at home as soon as we walked in the front door! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

  • The house is great, cosy, comfortable and peaceful with everything you need. Great communication and welcome. The area is lovely and we enjoyed some lovely walks from the doorstep.

  • Samantha's house is clean, comfortable and welcoming. We found it easily using the instructions she provided. We are a family of 5 and only stayed one night, en route to Cherbourg via Poole, but we were made to feel very welcome by Samantha and Karen (the milk in the fridge and tea bags were gratefully received after a long journey) We would definitely recommend Samantha's to anyone wishing to visit Dorset; the local area is lovely and we will definitely be returning to explore further at a later date.

  • It is not on any map if the area and was impossible to find

  • Perfect for a family getaway in Dorset. The house is very clean and comfortable. Lovely well-appointed kitchen. Toilets upstairs and down. Great sofas and beds. The trampoline in the garden is a godsend if you have kids (or even if you don't!). Very quiet, but very accessible to main road. Cannot fault this place at all!

  • From the moment we were warmly welcomed by Jenny & Tony at Tanglewood we could tell this place was out of the ordinary. Our self contained separate accommodation was extremely roomy, so very comfortable & well set out, lacking nothing. Jenny gave us some beautiful sponge cake to enjoy & delicious bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes & black pudding for us to cook for breakfasts. All this was after we had a welcome cup of tea with them in their own homely kitchen where we met some family & friends. We felt instantly at home. They "introduced" us to their friendly dogs, chickens & two extremely cute piglets. We continued each day to receive hospitality way beyond our expectations & we were very sorry when our stay came to an end. We can not recommend Jenny, Tony & their fantastic accomodation at Tanglewood enough!

  • Jenny was a lovely host and everything we needed was there and more. We really enjoyed our stay. Located very close to all attractions which is great when you have children.

  • A relaxing stay in a lovely location. The guest suite was perfect and breakfast was a delicious treat.

  • We had a lovely time at the Purbeck guest suite. Jenny made us feel very welcome and the breakfast hamper that she provided was delicious - the carrot cake upon arrival was also very tasty and went down a treat. The suite itself was ideal, plenty of space, very homely and clean. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are many things to do. Jenny has a handy folder with lots of information on things to do in the area. For example we had a lovely visit to Durdle Door, which is beautiful and Corfe Castle is also a great place to see. Thanks ever so much Jenny we had a wonderful time!

    Gabriel 2015-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny's place was clean, spacious and private. The place felt homely and Jenny immediately let us settle in. The location of the place is great, with so many beautiful walks nearby, a town with great places to eat and for keen cookers there's a cookery school nearby as well. I would definitely come here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for time away in the area.

  • We enjoyed five days at Jenny's farm using the apartment accommodation. The apartment was clean and comfortable and a great location to explore beautiful Dorset. Jenny was very friendly and open to showing us around the small farm, letting us collect eggs and visit the pigs. The breakfast platter we received was incredibly tasty and a real bonus to have as it meant breakfast was sorted for a day or two. All in all, everything was as we expected because Jenny has described her place so well on the website.

  • A great place for a base in Purbeck, which is secluded yet in a central location. Jenny and Tony are wonderful hosts and will welcome you warmly. You should follow Jenny's directions - they will not fail you. You will be provided with breakfast, enough for 2 days. This is home grown and delicious. The amenities are great, the bed is very comfortable for a peaceful nights sleep. Local attractions are a short drive away with lots to do. There are plenty of local pubs and restaurants to choose from. Love Cake in Corfe Castle was a great little find.

  • Lovely flat in a beautiful setting. The flat was comfortable, well furnished and warm. There was plenty of space for the two of us. Hosts, Jenny and Tony, were very welcoming and helpful with useful suggestions on the local area. The breakfast that was provided was delicious and there was plenty of it. The setting was a wooded area not too far off a minor road and within a few miles of Wareham. We found it to be peaceful and quiet. Overall, the flat and location suited us perfectly and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • This flat is in a lovely position. Its just minutes from the beach and central to many beautiful parts of the South west coast particularly if you have a car. We were walking part of the South West coastal path and it was the perfect end to our walk and easy to find and get to.

  • Very well stocked with everything you could need, it felt like a home from home, and Katrina was helpful and gave a warm welcome. Good location within a few mins' walk from the beach and ferry.

    Sujata 2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Katrina's! Check in was easy and communication with Katrina was great. She provided all the info we needed and more. We came with our 2 year old and 8 week old and she provided a travel cot for our 2 year old. The flat was very clean and comfy. The beach is so close and we had it almost to ourselves in the mid week days that we were there. The beach is soft sand right out into the sea and so beautiful. The location is also close to the ferry to Purbeck and lots of things to do a short drive away. Would definitely come again if we can!

  • Lovely apartment, great for walking the dog on the beach. Very nice host.

  • Wonderful flat, smart and super clean in a very pleasant area. Walking distance to studland ferry and to sandbanks centre. Katrina was a wonderful host, very reliable and kind. Communication was 5 stars. We would definitely come back and visit this beautiful area again.

  • Where to start. The whole experience was a pleasure. Having booked this accommodation very last minute the communication and hospitality of Katrina was second to none. The directions and level of detail provided were spot on and easy to follow. Having arrived at the Flat after a long drive we were greeted with modernness and nice little touches throughout, not to mention a nice, warm cosy home. The Flat is extremely comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect for us, plenty of just eat takeaways within range and a stones throw away from some beautiful walks. We took the dog to the haven cafe and caught the ferry across to studland for a beautiful winters walk. The nearby streets are secure and very upper class. My only problem was the decking wasn’t great for the dog but that’s my fault for assuming this before hand. Thank you ever so much Katrina and one day we will be back.

  • Great place to stay with the kids. Lovely host. The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay again.

    Katherine 2017-02-12T00:00:00Z

There was detailed instructions left in the flat which was helpful and info on places to visit . The flat was lovely and clean and the beds were comfortable . It took us 3 mins to walk to the beautiful beaches at Sandbanks and you are equally the same distance from the ferry to Studland and a lovely local shop and cafe . We would recommend this lovely flat to anyone !

  • This was one our favourite AirBnBs - a beautiful location, with stunning views from the kitchen and garden. We spent many happy hours BBQing, and eating and relaxing on the decking. The house was very comfortable, but with the wonderful weather we spent very little time in doors! Communication was quick and check in and out were very easy. We did wonderful coastal walks both east and west, and we we all enjoyed visiting Lulworth cove. Such a lovely family get away - we feel very lucky and hope to return.

  • What a fantastic location to explore Purbeck. Prefect cozy cottage for walkers who like a good view, and dogs who are used to downstairs living. Beautiful garden with views of Corfe. We appreciated the acceptance of our booking at short notice. Highly recommended.

  • Great stay. Lovely cottage where we all felt comfortable. Beautiful views in the garden - which the dog loved too!

  • The host canceled this reservation 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Cheryl's lovely cottage and would definitely recommend it. It is beautifully situated in a very pretty village and right opposite a really good pub which came in handy when we didn't want to cook! Corfe and the beach are within easy reach and Cheryl's instructions on finding the cottage were very clear and helpful. The cottage itself is comfortable and well equipped and the log fire was a real treat in freezing January. Don't miss the view from the garden in the mornings, it's quite something. • A great cosy cottage in the Purbeck countryside. The rooms are small and cosy with open fires and there is a lovely large bright conservatory with stunning views of the Purbeck hills over to Corfe castle. The house is well stocked and lots of games and things for children to do inside and outside in the lovely garden space. Incredible walks can be found straight out of the house and so much to do in this amazing rural area. Very handy pub next door. A top trip. Thanks

  • Cosy, traditional cottage with amazing views from the garden across toCorfe Castle. Fabulous to eat breakfast on the terrace with those views! Lovely pub right opposite does good food. The host was very quick to sort out an unexpected problem with the hot water. Thoroughly enjoyable stay thank you!
