I had a wonderful birthday weekend here. It definitely exceeded my expectations and most importantly fulfilled on my vision of reading my book and drinking wine by a sweet fireplace. The fully stocked kitchen was awesome. That was my favorite thing about this place! I had so much fun! We will definitely be back!

Very clean and cozy cabin! A little under an hour from the Aspen ski resorts. I would definitely recommend it!

Jeanne’s cabin is a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was the perfect escape for our long ski weekend. (The Aspen resorts are about 45 mins away in good conditions.) The cabin is immaculate with artistic touches in every room. We were very comfortable during our stay with a fully stocked kitchen, spacious living space, and gas fireplace. Jeanne is a friendly host and quick to respond to all questions. You’ll love your stay here! We look forward to staying again soon.

This air bnb is beautiful! It is super remote. Beautiful views. We were in awe while we were driving up! The air bnb was cute, small, and cozy with a cute little fireplace (which made the place super warm- a huge bonus in these cold winter months!). Skiing didn't feel extremely accessible because this place is in the mountains, however it is so pretty it was totally worth it! I highly recommend!

This place is truly a gem! It was very clean and was more than what I expected. Jeanne was an amazing host and helped us with everything even when we got stuck in the snow! Ruedi Creek Gem is a perfect getaway if you're looking for peace and quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was very comfy, and the board games/cards kept us entertained all weekend. The location is about a minute from Ruedi Reservoir with beautiful trails and nature all around. Jeanne and Nick were excellent hosts and gave us many suggestions for local activities. Would definitely recommend.

Cre's place is off the beaten track yet is a short drive away from Basalt. Beautiful setting, quiet, with a welcoming environment. Highly recommend for those who like the feeling of staying in a cozy cabin over a condo.

In Aspen March, niveous snow still dominates lands. Nevertheless, flying snow dances softly to greet with our trudge. Ice crystals cohere diverse gestures. Like a beam of moonlight gleaming over branches of pines. Like cuddling banks of the creek purling gracefully. Like embellishing incandescence aside eagles' pointed wings. Without genial taverns looking up snow mountains, the unique aspens on the plateau dim distantly. All are harvested with grateful praise. This sweet chateau sits at mid-mountains. While entering inside, breathtaking head-on view leaps to eyes. Shuffle in boundless snow mountain landscapes. Upstanding logs hold spacious structure. Under Katie's and Kevin's delicate ornamentation, hermits staying in the cottage incubate the vast views. The host Kevin devotes himself in coaching ski. He reveals his zeal unreserved. Take great care of us from afar. From soft bedding, tidy rooms to WIFI access note, all are under his meticulous arrangement. If you are lucky to savor the snow romance by chance, please treat non-viable positioned by Google map as a fascinating expedition. Please forsake cumbersome luggages and slow down your sightseeing agendas. Check in earlier to relish tranquil and picturesque four seasons leisurely. To become a glutton of beauty of Aspen nature!

The BEST BANG for your BUCK in BEAUTIFUL BASALT. Can’t reccomend this place enough

Katie & Kevin were fantastic hosts! Finding their place was super easy as well as an even easier check in. They greeted us upon arrival and offered great restaurant suggestions. The place is super cute and the views were amazing (pictures don't do it justice!). If you're thinking about staying at their guest suite, I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was very clean and comfortable and the views were amazing! The space feels very private even though it is attached to the main house.

Such a cute little space with an absolutely beautiful view! My partner and I stayed her for 3 nights will snowboarding at Snowmass, we love the little town of basalt and the brick pony which a great pub on the list of recommendations from Katie and Kevin. Short drive to Snowmass. We went to Aspen and were much happier with our choice to stay in Basalt.

Neal cabin is amazing! Such a beautiful space in the most lovely area in the mountains. The porches and balconies were perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the wildlife. Huge space with all the amenities that you need! Would def recommend staying here!

The Neal Cabin is beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and well furnished. Ample space for a large family or just a quiet get away. It’s an easy drive from Basalt and great views. If you want a Colorado experience then stay here!

These cottages are an amazing find. We stayed here while skiing at Snowmass and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabins are cozy, communication was great and the location is perfect. It is about 20 minutes from the Snowmass parking lots and 20 minutes from Aspen. These cabins are perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

We spent new years at the cabin and had a blast and would recommend it to others. Our cabin was quant, clean and exactly as described. The location is fantastic as it easy to drive to Aspen or Glenwood Springs or you can walk a very short distance to get to public transportation.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location. My husband and I wanted to spend a long weekend in the area and enjoy the foliage. The colors over the river were amazing, and we both enjoyed our coffees with our dog every morning down by the river. The cabin itself was perfect for a couple and their dog. Location is also prime - we went fly fishing in Basalt, and then went to Maroon Bells the next day, both within a short drive. Would definitely stay here again.

A group of us went for a ski trip and the house worked out great. It was about 40 minutes to Snowmass/Highlands. The house was in a peaceful and quiet location, it was reasonably close to Basalt and Carbondale for restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Living room and eating area was spacious for hanging out. Be sure to follow check-in instructions for directions, the Google maps address is off. Wifi is usable for minor tasks but if you're expecting to do work or stream movies, it probably won't work. Would stay again!

The Gregg house was incredible and much more spacious than anticipated. Beautiful property in a serene location. Highly recommend!

100% recommend. We rented the Gregg House for our Close friends and family to stay during our February elopement. It was the perfect atmosphere - a bit off the beaten path to give you that secluded feeling, but close enough to town that there was a grocery store within 30 minutes. Snowmass was a very easy 45-50 minute drive. The KEYLINK representative was very quick to respond to our messages through the app, and the ranch owners were super kind and accommodating. The house itself was much more spacious than we were anticipating and just perfect for our 10-day getaway. The view is something we won’t forget.

The Gregg House at Cap K Ranch up the Frying Pan River Valley is a perfect spot for a private and nature filled weekend. And if you are looking for a taste of the real Rocky Mountain West, this 1944 Ranch house on a working ranch is a perfect choice.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was everything that it was described to be on Airbnb. Beds were comfortable, had big refrigerator, and detailed binder provided all the information we needed to know. Look forward to staying there again when we journey back to Colorado.

Adorable cabin with plenty of room and a screened in porch! We loved that we were so far away from everything, we enjoyed time at Ruedi with our dogs - almost no one around and the people we did run into were great! Great value for the price :)

I truly cannot say enough good things about Alison and Ryan's place! If you are thinking about booking their space, do it! Alison and Ryan are very welcoming and the space is so comfortable, with incredible views. Their customer service is excellent. The apartment was very clean and they had a wonderful list of recommendations in the area. Much appreciated! We really appreciated being able to bring our pug and there are hikes you can do with your fur friend basically out the front door. Their place is an easy drive to Snowmass/Aspen but be sure to spend some time in the town of Basalt, such a special place with wonderful restaurants! We can't wait to be back, thanks for a great weekend!

The Margo A-Frame is a great place to stay! The private apartment was perfect for our (3) night stay and the town of Basalt has a few hidden gems that you must check out including CC's Coffee and Tempranillo! The location of the A-Frame is off the beaten path and offers amazing views, soothing sounds of the frying-pan river, and we saw a ton of wild-life during our stay including deer and bighorn sheep! We spent the majority of our time in Aspen for snowboarding and the winter X-Games - the VelociRFTA Bus is super convenient and you can catch it at the Basalt Park & Ride. If we're ever in the Aspen/Basalt area again we will definitely look to stay at the A-Frame! Thanks, Ali & Ryan!!

The place was perfect for the holiday ski trip to Aspen that my husband and I planned. The space was comfortable for us, though we didn’t spend much of our time there. Ali gave great suggestions and recommendations for things to do in the area (hot springs, restaurant suggestions, etc) and the location was great!

Very nice and cozy house !! The beds are comfy and you will find bunch of blankets,shits , towels and pretty much everything you will need, it’s in a really good location good to explore aspen / Snowmass /basalt area. Would definitely stay again !

This is a cozy and private cabin among 5 others in an ideal location between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. It exceeded my expectations in both ease of access and overall experience. I spent a weekend here with my girlfriend and would highly recommend it as a mountain getaway destination.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lazy Bear Cabin. It was even more beautiful and charming in person than in the pictures. When we arrived there was wood burning in the fire wood chimney which we were not expecting and was such a nice surprise! Beautiful views all around and secluded location. We loved it! Also loved all the little animal carvings around the staircase. We had a great stay, would definitely return.

Very lovely cabin. The cabin itself seems very well built and ties in the entire mountain experience. And not a cold spot in the whole place! The lower level floor heat was very nice, as well the wood stove used to heat the upper level. Plenty of wood for that as well. 4WD or AWD comes highly recommended. If coming during the winter, snow tires are a must. The final few turns up the cabin get a bit steep and snow packed. The drive up is very nice though, and I imagine even better during the summer. We will be renting again for sure!

Such a beautiful retreat for my husband and I on our anniversary! It was far enough away that we felt nice and secluded, but still nice and close to the reservoir and river. Also had a lovely dinner in Basalt and LOVED the coffee shop off the main street as well.

Was absolutely a marvellous experience. It's so quiet and beautiful there.

Need a mountain getaway? Go visit Cash and stay in the Bear Cabin. The grounds with flower beds defined with river rock are unbelievably beautiful. The cabin is decorated with everything Ursidae (bear). Thank you for sharing the Bear Cabin with us. The Frying Pan River was right at our door step and this corner of Colorado is off the beaten path and increase beautiful.

This cabin was amazing! It is decorated with love. Hundreds of humming birds constantly eating from feeders which Cash fills twice a day. The landscaping with stones and flowers is beautiful! The river is very nice! Cash is a very good person and his friends gave to us some trouts. We fried them and it was a dinner for kings! A lot of hiking trails were in vicinity. The air was so fresh! Just perfect place for nature lovers!

If you are looking to get away from the tourist traps and truly see the beautiful outdoor scenes that Colorado has to offer, then this is your place. Cash told us there would be no neighbors, but luckily he fibbed because within an hour of being at Bear Cabin we were greeted at our bedroom window by a gorgeous doe and literally more hummingbirds then we could count on the front deck. On top of the wildlife that graces his property the running water beside with the perfect rocks to perch on is breathtaking. There are plenty of sites to visit nearby for those that like to venture out and hike or take in gorgeous mountain/lake views. The cabin itself was well maintained, had tons of amenities to cover all needs (sleeping, cooking, bathing etc.), and included lots of little touches that made the stay absolute perfection. We will be back the next time we are in Colorado!

Cash was a very gracious host with a beautiful cabin and grounds. He really takes pride in the space. We had a great time enjoying the grounds and fishing in the river right next to the cabin as well as short day trips to two large lakes nearby! SO RELAXING...

Absolutely magical. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away and really enjouy some scenery and piece of mind. This time of year was prime hummingbird, it is an amazin season sight to behold. The drive in is long but in itself is a sceneic view and changes day by day (also starts to feel shorter with time) Cash is perfectly lovely as a host and you can tell he cares a lot about sharing his slice of heaven with others. Also, the cabin is stocked with everything and more you could need.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed here for a family vacation and it was perfect. The house is large and accurate to the descriptions and pictures. The location is incredible and you can’t beat the view. The town of Basalt is close by and quickly became of of our favorites and Aspen is only about 30-40 minutes away. Such a peaceful getaway which made us all sad to leave. We will definitely stay here again.

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay at Robin's place! Both her house and the scenery were GORGEOUS! We particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette and how large and beautiful the bedroom was (and how comfortable the beds were!) Robin herself could not have been friendlier or more hospitable. We had a lovely chat in person with her when we arrived, and she checked in with us a few times over text to ensure we were doing well - so sweet! While we had many adventures during our time in the area, our most peaceful moments were sitting on her deck, watching the sun set on the spectacular mountains. Words can't describe how quiet and calming that was. Our recommendation to future travelers is to stay here for more than a weekend - that was our only regret!

Traveling with a dog is extra challenging at finding comply places to stay. Luna and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robins home. The upstairs suite is very private and cool breeze with window open was amazing all night long. Bathroom shower was great and area spotless I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Her communication was exceptional

Robin is by far one of the friendliest, most accommodating hosts I've had through AirBnB. We stayed for a couple nights as the weather kept us from some of our later plans, but Robin was incredibly understanding, accommodating and provided us a great experience in her home. She gave us great recommendations for Basalt and for nearby cities (Aspen, Glenwood Springs). Her home was clean and located in a beautiful valley with lots to see. 10/10 recommend and will be back again!

The house is located in a breathtaking location within that area. The views of every angle of the place are beautiful at any time of the day. Alice's decoration taste makes a great impression. Every room, every place in the house are carefully and tastefully though of. Alice was so helpful on giving us all the details about the house and the surroundings. She made us feel right at home. We would have no doubts on coming back to stay at her beautiful place.

Staying at Alice's house was beyond what we can explain with words. My friend and I had a wonderful time at her house (which is gorgeous with wonderful views all around). Alice was the best host and gave us very good advice on skiing locations, food, hikes and entertainment around Aspen, Snowmass and Basalt. If you are planning on having fun and packed days with ski/snowboarding and hikes and at the same time enjoy a beautiful and peaceful place to stay and relax, this place is for you! : )

This home is divine! The setting among the mountains can’t be beat! The big horn sheep in the road, creek and hiking trails so close to downtown basalt and easy drive to the ski resorts. Loved loved loved our time here!

John was a gracious host. His home is beautiful and in an awesome location. Tucked away in the valley about 10 minutes from basalt made the stay feel remote yet close enough to the city to grab supplies if needed

John's home is surrounded by the most outstanding natural elements. The home is beautiful, spacious and welcoming. Our family had a wonderful time in Basalt on the Frying Pan, Hiking, Paddleboarding, and Fly Fishing - all minutes away.

John is a thoughtful host with a nice mountain home. Hardwood and comfort abound throughout the spacious split-level, and at night the two decks make for great views of the stars. The Frying Pan River is a quick walk from the front door, and the scenic bluffs which dominate the surrounding landscape make for gorgeous views in all directions. The home is a 20 minute drive from Aspen, and overall a gorgeous, fun place to stay.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Alice's place and would highly recommend staying there. The location of her home is absolutely stunning and the room we stayed in was massive and felt like a large hotel suite. Alice even gives you access to the whole house and the hot tub on site. Additionally, she provides muffins and chips to snack on. Finally, she provides all sorts of helpful information for exploring the area. Alice's home is in a super convenient location too. It's only a 10-minute drive to the town of Basalt, which has lots of great restaurants, and a 30-minute drive to Aspen. We could not recommend her place more highly and the value is excellent!
