The cabin is located in Signaldalen about 110 kilometers from Tromsø city. Located by the Signaldalen river, which is surrounded by high mountains and mighty nature. There is a short distance to the high mountains for skiing/peak tours/hiking/hunting and northern lights experiences. There is also a snowmobile trail in winter. The cabin has electricity, running water and a sauna. Bed linen and towels are included. There is a well-equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster and kettle. The nearest store (Hatteng) as well as a barbecue bar is 6 km from the cabin.

Walking distance to grocery store, beach/fishing, Sandsvannet, barbecue hut, ski slope and football field. Malangen Resort and dog driving is a short drive of approx. 7 min. Tromsø is about 1 hour by car.

The cabin is privately owned and does not belong to Malangen Resort. Therefore, any activities at Malangen Resort must be booked directly with the resort.

Cottage is 250 m from the main road so in winter times you need 4wd car for going there! Price pr night to hire the jacuzzie is 50 euro. price pr night for the sauna is 30 euro. Offer this season a rent car SUV with 4wd; Range Rover Sport for 160 euro pr day.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
