Places to stay in Ticonderoga
3 bedroom mill house located near downtown Ticonderoga with views of La Chute river. Lots of indoor and outdoor space; large loft space and a wrap-around porch that spans the entire length of the home. Walking distance to the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour. A five minute drive to Lake George and Lake Champlain boat launches as well as the Tiroga Beach. The house has maple wood floors and freshly painted interior and exterior.
This house is one of the old Lake George Avenue historic district homes constructed in 1919 by the Ticonderoga Pulp & Paper Company under the direction of William A. Gale. Many considered Gale as the foremost contractor in the area. He was known for having constructed the Defiance Hose Company building in 1903; Ticonderoga’s first hospital, the Emily J. Moses Pavilion in 1908; and the Senator Ferris home on Carillon Road in 1911.
Quiet and safe neighborhood.
  • This house is awesome! Came up for a quick ice fishing weekend and really loved having the house as a home base. The kitchen is fantastic and it's a great spot to make dinner and play board games on a snowy night.

  • Philip's home was neat, clean, thoughtfully designed and had everything our family needed for a perfect Thanksgiving weekend. There were beautiful plates, cups, glasses and serving dishes. There were tiny bowls of candy everywhere. There were simple touches like a thermometer and masher left out for us since they knew we planned to cook. The linens were cozy and the puzzles and games kept the kids so happy. There was even a coloring station. This is one of our best experiences after joining in 2011 and we can't wait to go back!

  • I've traveled all over the country this year, and this is still my favorite place to stay!!! Gorgeous house, amazing and thoughtful touches, and great hosts! When my team and I head to Ticonderoga for work, it's nice to have a place that feels like home! Thank you, Philip, for another wonderful stay!

  • Great in-town house choice for Ticonderoga area. Very clean, lots of room. Accommodating hosts. Great for families.

  • Beautiful home in the historic town of Ticonderoga. We had a family wedding in Putnam and had 3 generations staying here. My very picky niece said she is putting the Ti Mill House on her acceptable list. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The house is large, clean, spacious with modern amenities and old fashioned porches which everyone enjoyed. Easy to walk to downtown and right on the LaChute River, or as my grandmother called it “the crick”.

  • Toms home was a beautiful place to stay on Lake George! It was super clean & comfortable. Communication was good & was an easy check in. We’d definitely do a return visit!

  • Well situated, great views of the lake, gorgeous house, private entrance, extremely clean, peaceful and friendly host, etc.….. highly recommend.

  • This is a great place. Literally you are steps away from Lake George. Tom and Jill are awesome. Beautiful property and clean and pretty rooms. Highly recommend!

    Elizabeth2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We really had a nice stay at Tom’s place. It was comfortable and clean. The location is beautiful. We did a little Astro photography off the dock. Would recommend.

    Lisa2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • My room was clean and comfortable. Wonderful view of the lake, especially at dawn and dusk. The space is fairly open so you might hear a little bit of noise from upstairs, where the hosts live. Notice that the shower stall can be accessed from both basement guest bathrooms, so it might be worth coordinating with the people next door to avoid a needless wait or an awkward situation. Would definitely stay there again - thanks Tom!

  • William’s place was what I expected. It was very relaxing and full of natural beauty!!

    Shannon2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved it here. It was very relaxing and a great place to unplug. My kids enjoyed playing in the creek and waterfall. It was everything you could want in a rustic camp. Thanks again.

  • Awesome place to detach from electronics and bond with friends and or family. We loved it.

    Lhachi2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time staying at Bill & Harry’s place. Our family enjoyed the property so much, we knew we had to go back this year. It was honestly meant to be; we hadn’t planned too far in advance & were afraid it would be booked up. We lucked out, and had another restful, relaxing & grounding family vacation! This is the perfect place to disconnect from the chaos of your usual weekly hustle, and show your kids that there is WAY more fun to be had in nature vs their fixation with daily electronics and the online world.

    Holly2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was a wonderful experience. The brook and waterfall are beautiful and many great sights to see nearby. I hope to head back that way soon since there’s just too much to see and do for one trip! I highly recommend heading a short distance walking across the Lake Champlain Bridge into VT, the view from the top was stunning.

    Tiffiny2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as advertised!!! A nice rustic cabin with an amazing brook to both start and end your day. Loved starting the day on the deck drinking my cup of coffee listening to it and falling asleep hearing it out the bedroom window. There is a great deal to do within an hour radius and recommend researching areas of interest before going. Highly recommend the glass blowing experience with Annie in Mineville. Restaurant-Olive Ti Pi for good Italian: apps, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and salads Points of Interest-Fort Ticonderoga, Fort Williams for the ghost tour, and Gunnison Orchards: nice gift shop with amazing homemade baked goods

  • John is a welcoming and friendly host. His place is right on the lake! So happy I was able to take advantage of an evening hot tub session (22 degrees out brrrr). The private room and bath were perfect for crashing after a long day of hiking. I'd like to return given its proximity to VT and ADK High Peaks.

    Jamie2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • John's place is a great Airbnb experience! This listing is for a room in the house, not a separate cabin, but the room has its own bathroom, so there is complete privacy. There is a hot tub, sauna, and canoes available for guests. John is an excellent host, always ready to help and happy to talk about the area, attractions, history, and other topics.

    Ilya2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, very knowledgeable of the area!

    Craig2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing. The lake is beautiful. The hot tub and starry skies indescribable & the host as generous and welcoming as you could hope. Choose this place to stay anytime you are in the area!

    Dave2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This was the best airBnB stay we’ve ever had! The location is amazing - the lake front is beautiful, well-kept, and the amenities are beyond expectations (kayak, canoe, hot tub, fishing, etc). John is an awesome host who offers great tips and is hospitable while giving visitors ultimate privacy during their stay. This is the best lake house experience we’ve ever had and we are absolutely coming back!

    Elona2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed our stay immensely. Wonderful host, exceptionally clean, pretty setting next to the lake, but close to the adorable town of Crown Point. Would definitely stay again.

    Robin2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Imagine waking up to the smell of perking coffee only to walk out to see a breathtaking sunrise. My wife and I are photographers so the view from the dining area inspired us. I fired up my drones more on these few days than on most trips. We found what makes this location 5-Stars,... John. Our host is a plethora of information and interesting conversations. We look forward to another visit and some more kayaking

    Karen2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was the second time we stayed at this place, and we will likely come back again. A beautiful and peaceful lakeside location. The host is very welcoming and helpful.

This is a rustic camp, not too far from civilization, cut off from everything except electricity. No worries, you have neighbors (if they are in town), running hot and cold water for the full kitchen or shower pumped from the creek (pick up some spring water from the Property Manager or buy bottled water to drink), 1 & 1/2 Bath (incinerating & outhouse) & VCR (if the creek & constant sound of the 30' waterfall isn't enough)! Don't forget to 'check-in' on social media when you get your back on.
THE CAMP AT FALLING WATERS located in the Township of Crown Point NY is a three season camp on a private road with 115 feet of private water frontage on Putnam Creek. Putnam Creek has white waters running over large boulders that can be walked on, depending on the water level. There is a view from the screened in porch looking toward the brink of a 30 foot waterfall (before it falls) that creates a constant sound of moving water to fall asleep to at night. There is a woodstove and ceiling fan capable of heating the camp but there is no central heat or AC. There is one bedroom with a full size bed and a single bed in the great room. A sleeper couch is on the porch for summer or additional sleeping space. The kitchen has a new electric stove and refrigerator. It is complete with coffee maker, microwave, needed dishes and cooking utensils. The bathroom has shower, sink and an incinerating electric toilet (instructions will be given on how to operate). The great room has a wood stove (only heat source) and a ceiling fan (only cooling available). Picnic table outside in full view of Putnam Creek. In addition to the sleeper couch on the large screened in porch, there is another small table for eating, a swing chair and access to the small deck which overlooks the yard and Creek. The camp is decorated in a wolf / Native American Indian theme but the true treasure here is the natural beauty of the environment as it sits among glacier rocks in the Adirondack Park. It is rather hard to describe the experience. The camp is not an isolated back woods cabin but there are plenty of trees on the property and between neighbors. Crown Point is an old, very historic town that has never grown up. You can actually, barely, see the paved road that runs along the other side of the creek. The road crosses over after the second falls. When you get back on the paved roads your cell phone service usually returns.
There are houses on both sides of my camp that have an easement through my property for one driveway and the driveway into my camp ends on the other property. One is usually occupied most of the summer and the one above the falls I've never seen people at. Across the creek is the paved road, on the other side of some trees, and a couple houses on that road in the distance. There is usually some kind of cell coverage on that road. Kind of hard to describe little spot but for the most part it feels country and secluded; very quiet any time I have been there.
  • Very private and comfortable cabin right next to a river and waterfall. Open up the windows in the living area and you can listen to the rushing water. Even better, take a book out to the screened-in porch and enjoy the peace and natural white noise. There's no WiFi and no cell service, so be prepared to disconnect. I would recommend a weekend or so here if you're really looking for a break.

    Jensen2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nothing was better than waking up and having a campfire and breakfast next to a waterfall!👍👍

    Deanna2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Bobbi was communicative and responded to our messages quickly. The listing is exactly as described. The cabin location is serene and peaceful. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway for someone who needs to decompress and get in touch with nature.

    Marisa2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect getaway for those who are looking for disconnecting from the rest of the world. The sound of the waterfalls will make you sleep like a baby. Will come to this place again next summer.

    Sandeep2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Really cute and cozy little cabin, and the location on top of the waterfall is ideal! Check in was super straightforward and easy to coordinate. Kitchen was fully stocked with all that we needed, there was a fire pit and grill. We were here in the fall and would love to come back in other seasons to see the space.

    Emily2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • It could have been a challenge to find because it is DEFINITELY off the beaten path, but Bobbi gave me great directions. When I got there, as soon as I turned off the car, the first thing I was aware of was the sound of river going over the rocks. Then I got out and saw the stars just beaming because there was no light pollution. The cabin itself was incredibly cozy, and the setting was unbelievable. I just loved hearing and watching the water go over the falls. My only regret was that I was only there for one night so I could visit Ft. Ticonderoga. Bobbi's place is definitely a place I could have stayed and enjoyed for days. I would highly recommend it. Thanks, Bobbi!

    Gavin2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place is Incredible! Talk about peace and tranquility. I never thought rain on a get- a-way would be a good thing, but it forced us to cozy up on the porch with a blanket and just take in the waterfall! Will deffinetly recommend this gem to others and we are already looking at our schedules to see when we can go back!

  • Very clean , love the house, great location

    Fisnik2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • This house is beautiful! It is a three bedroom home with one additional "bedroom" that is in a common space, but is totally a 4th usable bedroom with privacy. It is located right on the water with beautiful views of Lake George. Wifi worked very well at the house, but making phone calls was difficult, just to note. We enjoyed a girls weekend and were able to kick back and relax while being surrounded by nature. We would definitely recommend this place!

    Kimberly2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I truly loved our stay at Christine’s, the pictures matched the place exactly and it was right on the lake. Nearby was Walmart and local shops that made it easy to load up on groceries for our stay. The place was very cleanly and the heated floor in the master bedroom was truly a surprising delight! Would whole heartedly recommend!

    Geancarlos2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Christine's place was spotless clean with all amenities, the location is just perfect as it offers brilliant views like no other. It evokes a sense of serenity in you :) Lot of space for a big family to stay! This is easily one of the best bnb we have ever stayed in - and it is a place we would come back to !

  • Such a wonderful stay! Christine’s home is so comfortable and charming. The views of the lake are breathtaking. Quick ride to Lake Placid and hiking trails. Would highly recommend this home as a great get away!

Cable-driven Fort Ti Ferry crosses Lake Champlain to bring vehicles and passengers to and fro from Shoreham to Ticonderoga, NY making the historic Fort Ticonderoga easily accessible. It is a delightful middle place to be near hiking, swimming and biking pursuits.
  • We loved staying in the barn! Such a cozy, welcoming apartment - full of light. Super clean and comfortable beds - a great place to get away from city bustle. Look forward to returning!

  • Great winter (or summer) getaway! The house is great for a couple or small family. The kitchen is well-stocked, and Loraine was very responsive with help answering any questions. Great location near Middlebury and Vergennes.

    Michelle2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place! Loraine was super nice and accommodating when we said we'd be getting in pretty late and the cute rustic barn attic was exactly what we'd hoped for. Enjoyed having coffee in the breakfast nook overlooking the farm. Will be back and stay longer next time!

    Ray2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Always a restful and comfortable place to stay. Loraine is a super host.

    Susan2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing stay! The property was gorgeous, we were able to snowshoe and the views from the kitchen were unbelievable. We definitely want to stay here again.

    Alexandra2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Super cozy, warm and with a beautiful view. Thank you Loraine!

    Mia2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Loraine's farmhouse is about as Vermont as it gets. The beds were cozy and comfortable. We loved looking out at the maple fields while drinking our Vermont Green Mountain coffee in the morning. Was pretty easy to get to Killington and camel's hump from the location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Kathryn2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Real farm. Real Vermont. Clean well appointed barn loft with thoughtful touches throughout. Very hospitable and responsive host. Highly recommended.

Come and enjoy the tranquility of Lake George in the Adirondack Park. Our two bedroom cottage is located on the northern end of Lake George. It sleeps 4 comfortably, but can accommodate 6. Spend your days boating on the lake and your evenings by the lakeside stone fireplace. Visit nearby historical sites, golfing, restaurants, and hiking trails.
Convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, the best ice cream place on the lake, marked hiking trails, and many historical sites. Boat/jet ski rentals are available on the lake. Tourist attractions such as Fort Ticonderoga, The Great Escape, Lake George Village, the Adirondack Museum, and the ferry to Vermont are nearby. Make memories swimming or fishing off the dock and telling stories around an evening campfire complete with s'mores and the reflection of the moon shimmering off the water.
This is the perfect location for making your get-away as active or relaxing a vacation as you like. The lake is 20 steps from the front door and the trailhead to hike up Cooks Mountain is a tenth of a mile away. Alternatively, relax on the deck, drift in the canoe, or take a boat ride down the lake. The fishing is great!
  • Carl’s place was amazing. So quiet and relaxing. Close to Ticonderoga to visit with family. We will be back.

    Lee Ann2018-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Carl and his wife are great hosts who are right next door. It rained the first few days and we were stuck inside with two small boys in a small space. They brought over extra games and toys to help keep them entertained, which was very much appreciated. The TV unexpectedly went out and Carl was right over and offered to have a new one in the next day. The space is small and close to neighbors but had everything we needed. It was very handy having our boat right outside in the lake. The water is so clear and the ares is really beautiful! Carl wad able to direct us to some great hikes! The pictures of the house are pretty accurate. The only bathroom is in the main bedroom but since we were traveling with our children, that didn't bother us. The house is in a great location, peaceful but not too far from town. We enjoyed out week in this beautiful location.

    Adelle2018-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Carl and Eileen are amazing host! Their place was very clean and comfortable and exactly how it's described it in the listing. Carl offered a ton of great tips and suggestions for the local area that helped make our stay even better. I have to say that although the pictures online are very nice they don't truly depict just how beautiful and relaxing this place is. You have to go experience the lake, the mountains and the night sky for yourselves! My family will definitely come back again!

    - Le Petit Pavillon - surrounded by a forest, sunny kitchen, formal living with fireplace, family room with fireplace, screened in porch to watch the fireflies at night all of this on 3 acres of land. Ticonderoga as the Iroquois Indians called it, meaning between two lakes, you can enjoy Lake George or Lake Champlain. The ferry to Vermont is just down the road and so is the train station that will take you to Montreal or New York City. The perfect place for family reunions.
3 acres of secluded privacy surrounded by the lands owned by Fort Ticonderoga.
  • It was a great place to stay for a big family. Very spacious and close to downtown, yet very private. We would highly recommend it!

    Glenna2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing!! With 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, so many people can stay here comfortably! The kids loved all the toys and art supplies and the driveway was perfect for riding bikes! We enjoyed the fire pit at well! The location is perfect. We were super close to the Fort as well as the town to enjoy all Ticonderoga had to offer. This place is just wonderful and Suzanne is too! She communicated quickly and answered any questions. She even left us some snacks and drinks! It was such a great vacation!!

    Kendra2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This house is incredible! So open with plenty of room to relax! 2 minutes from the heart of Ticonderoga. We will be back!! Thank you Suzanne

    Patrick2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanne's home is wonderful! It is elegant and spacious, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Suzanne provided many lovely touches like luxurious bed linens and a gorgeous garden which made everything even better. We were close to many lovely hikes and activities so we were able to enjoy nature while having the comfort of a great home. Suzanne was readily available and answered any questions quickly. A couple things to be aware of : We know that Wi-Fi in the area is spotty, but we could not get it to work for our entire visit. The plumbing in the house is also a bit old and didn't work perfectly, but we were able to work around it. The property was also extremely buggy especially in the evenings - so bring strong bug repellant even if you are just going to be out for a few minutes.

    Lisa2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lots of house, lots of yard and lots of fun things to do in the neighborhood and throughout the Lakes Region. The home was large enough for a family dinner, BBQ and playing games in the family room and yard. Thank you so very much for everything.

    Frank2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location, and very spacious and clean house. Suzanne is incredibly prompt and helpful in responding to any questions we had during our stay. The house was immaculate, and I will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

    Rachel2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanne's place is amazing. It got everything we needed, and so many entertainment spaces for us to sit and chat. We also appreciate how Suzanne always helped us out whenever we run into some issues. She's the best host.

Ticonderoga is the northern point of Lake George out of the hustle and bustle of the tourists vacationing on the Lake, only a 45 minute drive or boat ride to Bolton Landing/Lake George Village area, easy to access for a day trip! People wishing to come to the northern end of the lake are usually looking for a quiet little get away where they can enjoy the lake with minimal boat traffic, along with a quiet setting. Saw a lot of wildlife just looking from the deck in the wooded mountainside that is right behind the property. The hosts were responsive and made sure the check in process went smoothly. We would 100% come back again at a future date

The site is also only a five-minute drive to the Queen of American Lakes, Lake George. It also offers direct access to the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness 60-mile interconnecting trail system that leads to over 40 bodies of freshwater ponds and lakes. DO the 20-minute hike from the campsite to go check out the high peaks. DO take a guided pontoon boat tour on at least one body of water. DO hike around the 60-mile pharaoh lake wilderness trail system.
  • Mike and Adam were both great! They were always available to help us at any point and they offered and drove us up to our camp multiple times, so we didn't have to walk. The views were spectacular and it was so nice to be completely secluded! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to get away for a few days and to just relax. The stove in the tent was great and heated up the place super quick (it even got hot at times!) Thank you for allowing us a great place to stay!

    Reanne2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful view, overlooking the mountains and the lake. The amenities were great for a tent: comfortable air mattress, wood stove and portable bag toilet. I would recommend the site for anyone who wants to be surrounded by nature.

    Madhi2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The views at this site are unbeatable. And the campsite itself was awesome. Adam had stocked it with most of the camping essentials and brought us wood every night since it got super cold. The site is a bit of a hike but it was so easy to coordinate with Adam and he has a large side by side ATV that he helps you load all your stuff up and yourself and drives you up and down from the site. If you're looking for a really private camping experience without all the work, next to tons of hiking and with incredible views: BOOK THIS PLACE! We are already planning our next trip back here with friends.

    Laura2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • I needed a mental health camping trip & this was fantastic. Great view to wake up to. More amenities than expected - I definitely overpacked. You won't need anything besides your clothes & food. Camp firewood, lighters, cooking pans, tongs, playes/utensils, water, toilet paper, etc. are provided. I brought a big cooler & they helped gator my supplies, me & my dog, up the mountain. It's about a 10-15min walk down. Please follow the signs! I got lost a few times haha. Adam & his dad, Mike were nice & helped me out when I needed it. Thank you guys!

  • Amazing little house with great access to the water! Had an amazing time here and John was always just a message away!

    Elijah2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a long weekend on Lake Champlain at this cabin. The inside is nicely redone, with plenty of options for sleeping quarters. We were surprised by how many this place could sleep! We were only two, so didn't even use the upstairs. Beautiful view! Nice spot on the lake. We traveled north over the bridge to Vermont and enjoyed the short ferry ride back across a bit south which was nice. We didn't realize how large Lake Champlain really is. We cooked in, so can't help with restaurants, but everything worked well in the cabin. The weather shifted through out stay so we were able to try out the AC and the wall heaters, which helped keep the chill off. Nice to have one in the bathroom!! I'm considering finding a few of these for my home! We appreciated John's prompt communication with us! Would stay here again if in the area!

    Jeffrey2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • John's house is a great find along Lake Champlain. Sitting out on the deck or out by the fire pit offers an excellent view of the lake and a place to wind down and relax. The interior of the house is cozy well organized. Had everything we needed from cook ware to shower items. John is very responsive when messaged and did whatever he could to accommodate us and make our stay more comfortable.

  • We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at John's home. The space is well laid out, comfy and spotless. The view from the deck is spectacular and it is a terrific place to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails. John is a great host and ensures that you have everything you need. We hope to return next summer. Thanks for sharing your "little piece of heaven"!

  • John's place is wonderful! Its clean, modern, comfortable, close to tourist attractions, has a beautiful view, use of boats to get out on Lake Champlain, and nice neighbors. John was very helpful and quick to respond to all communications. Thank you for a great visit!

  • This is a wonderful space, a bit different than a standard cabin, but great! Sandy and Bruce have decorated what appears to have been an old storefront on the main drag through the village with wonderful memorabilia and decorations. The unit faces the road, but backs directly on to Lake George, and there is a very nice wooden deck to sit on and enjoy the view. The kitchen was great with a commercial sink, any utensil needed and was spotlessly clean. My daughter and I spent the weekend there as a getaway so that she could work on her college essays and enjoy the amazing colors around Lake George this time of year, and the unit was perfect!

    Robert2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and quirky place to stay right on Lake George! Sandra and Bruce were always quick to respond and left a lot of useful information for our stay! We really enjoyed our extended weekend trip and staying here made it all more enjoyable.

  • The place was a great get away location from cities. Very peaceful. The patio at the lake had good privacy and a beautiful lake view. Sandra and Bruce are great hosts. They gave a quick tour of the place to us as well as good recommendations for things to do around. Highly Recommend staying here.

    Devashish2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint and eclectic. We like to make more than a few meals at home and this proved to be nearly perfect for that. There is a Walmart 20 minutes up the road for groceries. Definitely not a place for more than one couple, but it easily accommodates dinner guests up to eight. Nice water access which proved nice when we rented a boat and stopped by for lunch. Quite a bargain compared to other locations. Remember, you’re here to relax, not experience the best money has to buy. It did just that. 😊

    Gregg2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute woodsy cabin with a beautiful view of the lake and a nice location. We really enjoyed being further form the touristy parts of Lake George and in a more relaxed setting. Sandy was really helpful in our trip planning and very welcoming.

  • Highly recommend this cliff side home, gorgeous! Even bigger than it looks online and a beautiful lake view.

  • Fabulous place. Very modern touches . Casey was very easy to communicate with. Loved the lake view!

  • Incredible home! Comfortable, incredible views, and very well appointed. Will be back soon!

  • Casey was so accommodating with a later check out time and always quick to reply to questions. The house is just stunning and the kitchen was fully stocked. I had an amazing time!

    Sandra2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Had a fantastic stay here! Super clean, great interior and right by the lake. Casey responds immediately to all of our questions. This place is perfect for any family looking for a more secluded family vacation right by nature. There's a great hiking trail super close to the house - Gull Bay Preserve.

    Jay2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Casey's house. My kids especially liked the bunk beds. The house was very clean and a beautiful space. I spent time every day reading on the deck and looking at the wonderful view of the lake. It was a perfect getaway for our family and we would love to return again.

    Sue2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • The Cliff House is absolutely gorgeous and offers stunning views of Lake George. Casey, our gracious host, gifted us a nice bottle of wine upon our arrival and was always quick to respond to our inquiries. The home is very quiet and secluded - approx. 20 min away from stores, restaurants, etc. - which is one of the many reasons why this place is so special. If you are a Verizon customer, you may find the service to be spotty, but it didn't bother us. We enjoyed being able to disconnect and embrace the beautiful and tranquil environment. And with a boat rental (the rental offers you one 20' max boat slip), you have access to explore the lake and neighboring towns with ease. With all the lake has to offer, in addition to nearby hikes, climbs, cliff jumping, etc., this place is a perfect mix of serenity and adventure. Highly recommend!

This home is perfect for six guests and can accommodate eight with the memory foam queen-sized pull-out couch in the living room or the queen-sized air mattress in one of the bedrooms.
Enjoy Adirondack charm without compromising on comfort. This home, built in the 90s, is very clean and well maintained. The furniture is all new, including well appointed beds for a restful night's sleep. The southern exposure, rare for Lake George homes, means you don't have to choose between inspiring sunrises in the east and dramatic sunsets in the west. The combination of the house's unique 10 foot setback from the lake and the panoramic windows in the living room, with picture perfect views of Rogers Rock, give the feeling of floating on top the of the lake without yet stepping outside. Four kayaks and life vests allow you to explore Heart Bay, Rogers Rock, and beyond. Over twenty feet of shallow, sandy swimming along the private dock is perfect for kids before it deepens for more advanced swimmers. We love this quiet northern end of Lake George and have put care and affection into this home so you'll fall in love with it, too. *Please note ours is a seasonal dock that cannot take the impact of a motor boat tied to it overnight. Should you be interested in booking our cottage and storing a motor boat nearby overnight, please use the Contact Host link for a recommendation on where to do so.*
  • FABULOUS!!!! It's hard to describe how amazing of an experience we had at Andrew and Jill's Lakehouse. I don't even know where to begin, but let's start with your proximity to the lake. You literally take three steps outside and you're standing on the dock. It took us less than 30 seconds to get out of the water, grab a beer from the fridge, and jump back in the water. Then there's the views. Obviously the pictures on their listing are great, but trust me, they don't do the house justice. Every morning we would sit in the family room, drink coffee, read a book, and take in the beauty before heading out into the water. When we weren't in the water we were napping in the hammock, playing cornhole in the grass, or BBQing on the grill. The hospitality was amazing as well. Jill was extremely prompt, friendly, and helpful in all of our communication with her. Plus she left us adorable surprise treats when we checked in! We were nervous about getting out from NYC to the lakehouse, but the trip was super easy. There is a train from Penn Station to Ticinderoga (the town where the lakehoise is located) every single day. My wife and I packed some lunch, a few beers, and hopped aboard. Before we knew it we were in Ti (the locals call it Ti), just minutes from the lake. The trip was beyond belief. We can't wait to go back. Do you yourself a favor and stop looking at potential vacation spots. You have found the right one. FABULOUS!!!

  • This is our 4th consecutive summer renting this home for an August vacation. It continues to provide great memories in a great location. The amenities are great, and our son was ecstatic over the pizza floatie! As always, a great accommodation. Hoping to be back next August!

    George2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Jill & Andrew are responsive and very nice. The house is clean, comfy and perfect for a small family getaway. The lake view and water are gorgeous and never get old. Wonderful home and hosts!

    Mario2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our family spent a week at the Comfort Cabin and truly had wonderful time! The views alone are worth the trip, but Andrew and Jill have thought of everything you will need ( especially if you’re traveling with young children!) to ensure that your stay at that cabin is relaxing and fun. We look forward to returning next year

    Sarah2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home located right on the water with a private dock and beautiful views. It's a terrific location on Lake George, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Nice special touches like a polaroid camera, sunscreen and s'mores fixings. Home is nicely decorated and super clean. FYI there is no cable TV service, just Netflix (TV provided) and WiFi. There are 2 refrigerators but no working ice maker and only 2 ice cube trays so be sure to pick up a bag of ice if you plan on using a lot! Also be sure to go 5 mph on your way in and out and not a smidge over or the old lady that lives a few houses over will tell you you're going too fast!

    Dawn2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • We celebrated our 20 year anniversary at Andrew & Jill's beautiful lakefront home. The place was sparkling clean, decorated tastefully and had everything you would ever want such as games, kayaks, fire pit, grills, and all the kitchen items you need to cook. My husband likes to sleep in a cold environment so we were a bit worried about the heat in July with no a/c. But in case you were wondering, the lake breeze and hearing the waves all night was incredibly comfortable. Each room has fans to keep you cool at night, and the breeze is what really made the night perfect. Jill was incredibly thoughtful, nice and kind with her tips of where to go and what to do in the area - she even advised us on what town to stop in on the way up! I would say this is one of the best airbnb experiences we have ever had. We're definitely coming back if they'll have us!!

    Anne2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent house and location. The hosts were very responsive and made every effort to make our stay a bliss. Airbnb needs more hosts like these two ballers.

    Ike2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • I stay in a lot of Airbnb homes in and out of the US and I have to say, these hosts are truly exceptional! We felt very welcomed and absolutely loved the home. The views were breathtaking and there wasn’t one thing we needed that the home didn’t already have. The surrounding towns were also very charming and the great outdoors of this area is just captivating. We will definitely be visiting again! :)

  • The house location was wonderful, the views were beautiful. The house was clean and provided a great place to vacation.

    Andrea2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Loved all the seating on the porch (inside and outside), as we spent a lot of time outdoors. The house is very clean and spacious. Like that there was a bedroom on the main living floor for our grandmother--she was very comfortable and had her own bathroom! Beds had mattress pads, so no need to worry about that. Beds were comfortable too! Loved the dock for our boat--we went water skiing, tubing, kneeboarding several times a day. (we rented a wakeboard to try from the marina 5 mins away--very convenient). My husband also took the canoe out a few times for some quiet fishing in the areas nearby. Kids said it was one of the best family vacations we had!

    Patty2018-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • The house location is amazing. The cove is secluded and quiet, great for swimming. The use of the canoe was great fun.

A primitive campsite in the Adirondack Park. It is off a private dirt road near Putnam Creek, below Stairs Falls in Crown Point. Nearby activities include hiking (High Peaks & most mountainous county in NY), fishing, history (Forts- Ticonderoga, Museums & first smelting site to use an electromagnet, 'birth place of the electric age in U.S.) and water sports (Lake's Champlain, George, Paradox, Eagle, Pharaoh Wilderness, Ausable Chasm & Keene Valley). This is a pack-it-in & pack-it-out site.
The campsite can be used by tents, car camping or small RV's that are maneuverable. There is a $5.00 per night charge for each camper over 4. There is also a 2 car limit. You must be self contained. Everything you need must be brought in and carried back out. There is an outhouse provided for privacy. You will need to purchase your own Porta-Poddy to put inside the outhouse while you are there. You need to take it with you when you leave. There is no dumping station. For those that do not own a Porta-Poddy, prices range from $20 - $75 depending on your preference. Examples of each are uploaded with my campsite pictures.
There is rarely cell phone service on the property. If Verizon is your provider, you will generally have service back on the main roads. The Public Library in town has free Wi-Fi.
  • Great, I stayed for one night and it was exactly as described. Thanks!

  • Beautiful location looking over Lake George. It was pretty easy to get to and Tom was great at communicating before we arrived to let us know which road to use because one of the roads was flooded because of a recent rain storm. The house is gorgeous and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Tom waited for us even though we arrived in the evening to show us around the property. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Our beautiful Northern Lake George cedar lake house was completed in 2007 by an Adirondack master builder. We love to share our house with responsible groups throughout the year when the house is available. During the Summer we rent the house from Saturday to Saturday. We are fortunate to have town water and town sewer so there will not be an issue with flushing toilets and poor water pressure which many houses on the lake must deal with. Enjoy evening campfires on the lake!
Relax and enjoy our custom built lakefront home on the north end of Lake George. The house is located in a quiet no-wake zone so there is very little boat traffic around the house. Bring your boat or rent from the local marina and enjoy the Queen of America's lake! We have three bedrooms, two with king beds and one with two sets of bunk beds. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the great room to sleep ten people total in the house.
The house is located in the historic Town of Ticonderoga, very close to shopping, restaurants and of course the Historic Fort.
  • Peter's home is beautiful and such a peaceful place to spend time. The pictures don't do it justice. The house is light and airy, and very comfortable. The yard and lake a gorgeous. I got married in Ticonderoga this summer and we spent our wedding weekend in the house. Peter graciously let us host our rehearsal dinner there and it was the most beautiful setting for the event. He got back to me quickly whenever I had a question, and allowed us an early check in and late check out. This is a fantastic place to stay!

    Ashley2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot thank Peter enough for his generous hospitality! This was my first booking with Air BNB for myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend. He was very accommodating for both of our night stays and was immediate in responding to any questions I had that came up. Although our stay was short, he had all the amenities as promised. The house is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous view. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

  • You will not be disappointed with this place! It is perfect for family fun and enjoying the beautiful Adirondack Mountains!

    Erika2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing private house at the very top of Lake George. Peter was great and answered any questions I had promptly. So much space for the kids to run around and play. Multiple Canoes for everyone to enjoy. They provided wood for the fire pit, and basically anything else you needed to enjoy your stay. I will definitely be coming back here!

    Ashley2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice and comfortable home. Had everything we needed for a long stay.

    Bryant2018-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Peter was an incredibly nice, responsive, and flexible host. His home is cozy and great for our large group. Snug harbor marina could not have been more convenient for the boat rental! Would absolutely stay at Peter's house again.

    Elizabeth2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's house was exactly as advertised, and more! The kitchen was stocked with any spice you could need, and some basic food prep ingredients; there were plenty of kitchen tools, even a Vitamix blender. The rest of the house was very clean and did not disappoint. There were plenty of towels and linens for use. Peter was very helpful and responded promptly with any questions I had. For those looking to rent a boat, Snug Harbor Marina is only .7 miles away. For the price, you really can't beat this house for a nice weekend away with friends or family.

    Andy2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Peter was a kind host from the beginning to end of our stay. The house is exactly as pictured and had enough space for our group during Memorial Day weekend. We rented a boat and the dock was the perfect amenity. We took advantage of the kayak and canoes and had a great time. Will definitely be back again and 100% recommend Peter's place!

Small neighborhood with some rental homes as well as full time residents.
  • You couldn't ask for more in the cottage. Its location is right on the lake yet close to stores and town. It's in the quieter north end of the lake so it absolutely relaxing. It's clean as a whistle. Has everything you could want, giant firepit, dock, spacious living space, could go on and on. Great place.

  • We loved our stay, which really did feel like magic on Lake George! This is a lovely, sunny, open feeling home with Great Lake views through the large sliding glass doors. Check in was easy and Susan and Mike communicated quickly and clearly. They were most accommodating! The private beach was great and offered an easy kayak put in. We also enjoyed the opportunity to have campfires in the evenings in their fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped and open, which worked well for our group of six. Another bonus was the lovely gardens/park right next door; we actually enjoyed being in the hamlet of Hague, with the park, general store/deli & small restaurant within walking distance. I highly recommend Magic on Lake George!

  • Thank you to both of you, Sue and Mike. We appreciate you making your house available for our vacation. Everyone loved it. It was very clean and supplied with cooking utensils. The location on northern Lake George is very enjoyable and much quieter than near the Village. The location right on the lake is awesome and the views are amazing. The dock was also a greatly appreciated benefit. We would love to come back again next year.
