It was a really cool apartment, with just a few minutes of walk to the peace memorial park and the A-Bomb Dome. Everything was clean. The bedroom has a small height so for tall people it a bit difficult but when you crawl in there it is really nice. Only 10 minutes to get to the nearest Tram. It was wonderful I loved it there

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Since the bath has a drying function, it is okay to have laundry. There are also clothes drying on the veranda. The kitchen was large enough and easy to use. Although it is slightly out of the city center, you can use bicycles and the bus stop is near, so there is no problem at all.

Great modern flat with everything you need. Located close to the peace park (10 minutes by bus). We enjoyed our time an can definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Located in the center of Hiroshima city, it was the best place to go. There are many restaurants around and you can really enjoy it!

Even for a long-term stay, we were well prepared with necessary items such as amenities. The response was quick and polite. The location is good, the price is low, and I think that I would like to use it again considering the fact that I go up the stairs to the fifth floor.

Great location! Although it’s not close to the main station it is easy to get a tram or bus. Very close to the peace park and restaurants. Amazing ramen shop very close and a must visit(exit the door, turn right and right again) it’s called eight men.

Easy check in, decent internet speed and we were able to store our luggage while the place was being cleaned. Location was great and we appreciated the washer/dryer in the apartment.

Akira's place has everything you need for a pleasant short stay in Hiroshima. Reasonably priced, centrally located, has all the basic amenities and beyond - he had ear plugs, razors, and not to mention his own pocket-wifi to provide for the stay - coupled with his quick responses and the convenience of a self check-in and you have yourself a hassle-free trip. Some may find the space small, but that is oftentimes the Japanese reality in the bigger cities. We only stayed a short while so it suit our needs well. Thanks again Akira!

Akira’s place has the best ideal location. Very close to the A-Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial Park/Museum. Generous with the amenities especially the towels! I highly recommend her place if you’re going to Hiroshima!

It was use alone, but welcomed me. The ceiling is high, it is surrounded by handmade works and furniture, and it is comfortable. I think it is a hotel where you can stay like living.

This time, I used it for my job. It is moderately quiet, but there are various things within walking distance, so it is recommended for those who want to relax. It was easy to get to the center of Hiroshima by train or tram. Mr. Akiyoshi also took a lot of care and was as comfortable as being in a relative's house. I stayed here to concentrate on my work for a week, and it was perfect! It's quiet and private, yet still have shops and restaurants within the walking distance.Downtown Hiroshima is also easily reachable by JR and streetcar.Akiyoshi san was very nice and messaged me during my stay to check in.Super cozy!

Haiyama-san and his wife are imaging hosts. Their house is very beautiful, clean and in a quiet area. You will have a great time staying there.

I definitely recommend this guest house to those visiting Hiroshima for a week or more. It is quiet, clean and has everything you may possibly need during your stay. It is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the train and tram stations which will get you to Hiroshima center and its surroundings in no time. It is also 15 minutes away by tram from miyajima ferry should you be visiting Itsukushima shrine. The surrounding area is a quiet residential area but still worth exploring. There are convenience stores and fresh food markets right next to the station should you want to take it easy and eat at the house. The host was easily reachable and had lots of tips and advice on places to visit. He was kind enough to offer to drive me to Hiroshima station since it was raining when I checked out. I highly recommend this guest house and i cant wait to return.

The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but still you can find numerous food choices within 10 minute walk. What impressed me the most is the design of wooden furnitures by the host, which are all "DIY"!

I live in Hiroshima and this particular area is one of my favorites. There is a yummy sushi restaurant very close, Indian and Thai food. And a French Salon. Perfect!

I liked my stay at Kunihiro’s place. It was a very comfortable stay. The location is amazing, a Lawson is right outside. Will stay here next time I want to go to Hondori street.

We loved this place. Is near everything you gotta do in Hiroshima and you get the chance to connect with miyajima from there. Everything is explained in a printed document when you got there. The only thing you need to know is that there is no elevator but apart from that the place is cozy, full of info to do while you are there and huge!

A great space to stay for a trip to Hiroshima. Very spacious, lots of amenities. Plenty of shopping in the area, with ample access to transportation (subway and tram). The castle is also well within walking distance. The only drawback is the five flights of stairs up to the room, which tend to get smoky from the surrounding businesses. The room itself was smoke-free.

It was way way cleaner and amazing than we ever expected

Amenity was prepared and there was a feeling of cleanliness and was very recommended. She said that she could leave the trash as it was and was saved. It was tough to climb to the 5th floor on the stairs, but there is no problem if you think it is a good exercise! ! ! ! !

This was the perfect accommodation for my family of four (parents plus 11 & 13 year old children). It was spacious, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed. It was an easy bus ride and short walk from Hiroshima station. The location was fantastic: easy walk to a lot of restaurants and shopping and very close to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Would recommend to anyone who can carry their belongings up to the 5th floor.

We spent two nights at Yoko’s apartment and it was perfect for us! We loved being able to walk to the peace museum (really interesting and a must-see in Hiroshima) and delicious food within walking distance. Thankyou Yoko!

This place is situated perfectly for shopping in Hondori, visiting the A bomb dome and it's museums around and the Hiroshima palace. Access to o everything is simple and quick, and to top it off, the favilities (bathroom, shower, kitchen, washing) are first rate.

Cospa was very good though it was very large and beautiful. This time, we stayed with 4 people, but it was a space where about 8 people could get excited. There were plenty of amenities and there were many dishes, so I was very happy.

Walking distance from downtown, Peace Park and Hiroshima Castle. The location of the tram station, supermarket, and convenience store were perfect. The room is clean and the furniture is stylish. The bath and toilet are separate, and I was able to spend a spacious and elegant atmosphere. The bath has an automatic hot spring function. Check-out time is 11 o'clock and you can relax more slowly than the hotel. HDMI can be connected to the TV, so if you bring in a Blu-ray player, you can watch movies. I would like to use it again next time.

Masa has been a great host, replying to our questions and very understanding. Appartment with all the things you need when you are travelling, with a supermarket less than a minute away. The place was conveniently located, a minute walk to the Peace Park, restaurants and shopping, and tram/bus stations. The condo was a perfect size for myself with spacious kitchen/dinning are and a cozy bedroom. YOU was very quick to respond and to take care of any issues. I found a laundry machine, a good quality hair dryer, an umbrella and a portable wifi very useful. The only downside was that the place was a bit dusty. But I was able to clean it myself with the abundant cleaning supplies i found in the closet. Overall this was a good place for the value. Would stay here again.

Linens were clean and relieved. It is the best location for sightseeing. There is a big shopping street 1-2 minutes on foot and there is also a supermarket, so we could enjoy cooking at the counter kitchen. Be careful as the nearby parking lot is very expensive (especially on Saturdays and Sundays) because it is next to the Heiwa Park.

This is a cute and comfortable apartment in a very handy location in Hiroshima. It is self-check in and check out, but the host is very easy to communicate with and it was a smooth process.

Ooshi’s place was great for a short stay in Hiroshima. Although we did have a little trouble checking in, the place had everything we needed. We did have to rely on buses to get everywhere so be sure to have lots of coins or get a daily pass to save money.

Ooshi’s Airbnb is super easy to access via the bus route she suggests and is in a great location near the local sightseeing areas of Hiroshima. Quick to respond to any inquiries Ooshi was a great host and their Airbnb was great!

Was very, very clean. Wifi and pocket wifi were both easy to access and fast. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of extra features (balcony, tv, iron & board, vacuum, extra coffee, extra towels, huge clothes drying rack, etc). Two bikes are included with the room, stored on the first floor - very useful in flat Hiroshima and faster than public transport. Only a very slight hiccup with the older style lock on the mailbox collecting the room key. No washing machine in the room... but the coin laundromat is right below the building! More than what we expected - would recommend to anyone for a short stay in Hiroshima.

Ooshi's place is in a quiet spot in Hiroshima just off the main streetcar line. The place was very clean with complimentary bikes to use as well as helpful instructions on how to get to the main tourist attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

It was beautiful, the location was good and the amenities were substantial and I was very satisfied.

Best night sleep just when I needed it the most! The mattress was so comfortable and had such nice blanket options. The location was completely perfect and access to the bicycles (!!) ended up saving all 4 of us from going to bed with empty stomachs. We cruised downtown late night and had dinner and got to tour the area — all after 9 p.m. It was an unforgettable visit! Thank you!

Uta’s place was great. It was bigger than we expected, and very clean. We only stayed one night as we were visiting the Peace Park and Memorial Museum and we loved Uta’s place. Great location, only 5 min walk to the Peace Park and we loved the bikes that we were available to us too!

The room was clean and there were two convenience stores downstairs! It's not far to Heping Park. It can be reached in 10 minutes. After Heping Park, you will be on the pedestrian street of Hiroshima, Bentong! The price is very high, the landlord feedback is very timely, and the experience is very good!

We really enjoy staying at Ryu’s house. I travell with my family and feel very confortable. It is a Tipycal japanese house near Miyajima. About 20 minutes from Hiroshima station. Appreciate his hospitality and recommendations. A supermarket is behind . Highly recommend it

Hirosima is an important place, of course due to the history of World War II - but it is also beautifully located - the city itself is also great - absolutely worth seeing. Mixing - well - a dream - everything we think about Japan is there. Lists in original interiors, on a real Japanese bed. Available - kimono and inches, fantastic apartment straight from the movie. Well communicated with the center (tram and SKM). I would highly recommend !

Ryu and his family are so lovely! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We really appreciated having our luggage driven from the station to the accommodation. It was a great experience living in a Japanese home surrounded by locals.

Ryu’s home was absolutely beautiful. It was completely clean when we arrived and many basic items were provided for us (e.g. butter, miso soup). Ryu’s parents picked us up from the nearby train station which we thought was so above and beyond the efforts of any normal host. They gave us a tour of the home and explained everything about it and where to find things. They also gave us tips on the local area and great locations to eat/visit. Ryu was away at the time however was so easily contactable over the AirBnb messaging system. He replied instantly every time and checked up on us here, also providing tips on the local area. The hospitality during this stay was simply extraordinary. Would highly recommend.

Nice stylish apartment, good amenities and thoughtful touches like ear plugs. The host You provides excellent instructions and travel tips. Location was 10/10! One thing, if you are a big & tall American like me you might find the bed a little uncomfortable. Otherwise I would thoroughly recommend!

An amazing place to stay, very comfortable and the view from the balcony at night was beautiful. Amazing small touches like sanitary products for women, ear buds, free bikes to use, shop not even 2 mins away! Don't think we'll find a place better.

This was a great apartment to stay in. It’s easy to get to places in the city by bus, however a little harder to get around with suitcases. The umbrella and complimentary pocket wifi were nice touches :)

Beautiful traditional accommodation. It felt cozy and like home. We got nice extras and it felt like the host cared a lot about the smallest details (drinks, tea, welcome snack, earplugs, guides etc.) The location is great with a lot of tourist attractions and nice restaurants. The room looked amazing with traditional tatami and futon. Also beautiful table where we enjoyed our matcha tea in the evening. Everything looked super clean and well cared after. If you are an early sleeper I suggest to use the earplugs that the host provides, because the tram stops in front of the building and has service until 00:00. All by all a great experience!

A very homey place in Hiroshima. If you love running or taking early morning walks then this is an ideal place. So many little touches or amenities that made us feel really welcome. There's also a tram station right in front so going to Hiroshima Station was easy (take # 2). It has its cons though, the trams do make some noise which is very audible in the room (there are ear plugs provided by the host). We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Easy to access as it’s at the tram stop, awesome room amenities with a tonne of tea choices and coffee. I was very impressed and hope I can stay again. Also, I loved the authentic experience of a tatami room with futon mats. Great stay!

Absolutely the best. Everything provided. Comprehensive manual with photos. A welcome on the mat, literally. Central and a transportation stop at the door.

Beautiful room and the host provided a nice table of guides and snack when you first come in. The kitchen comes with a hot plate and electric kettle. The washer/dryer was a huge plus and they provide instructions on how to use it and well as detergent. It’s right next to a tram so you don’t have to walk far for transportation.

It was very close to the Atomic Bomb Dome, and a convenience store just got off my house. In front of me, I was able to enjoy it in a downtown area and an incredible location if I walked for 5 minutes on the main street. If the price is very cheap, the number of people is large and the sightseeing in Hiroshima is good, isn't it the best inn?

A great place to stay during a trip to Hiroshima. Convenient location to all the major tourist sites, a clean and nice apartment and a great host.

First, right next to Peace Memorial Park, open the window and you will see the Atomic Bomb Dome. "I came to Hiroshima!" There are many restaurants nearby, so it is not a problem to eat. Room was thoroughly cleaned and could be used comfortably. In addition, I felt hospitality, decorating plants and directing beds with kimono belts. In addition, it is a wonderful hotel that you will want to use.

We loved our stay here. Perfect for a single or couple. The location was incredible - close by within 5 minutes walk to everything you want to see such as the peace memorial, museum and shopping. Easy access to Hiroshima station via the street car stop near by. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, just a 5-10 min walk to most of the major attractions and easily accessible by public transport. Masa was super responsive before the trip and sent me additional information as well. Checking in was seamless, instructions were very clear. The place was quite small as expected for a place in Japan but all in all, a very comfortable and cosy stay for 2 people (can fit up to 3/4 comfortably!) Also, thank you for the recommendation of food/ places to visit - There’s a yummy okonomiyaki restaurant nearby the apartment ;)

My second stay at one of Masa’s properties was just as pleasant as the first one: great location in a quiet neighbourhood, only 5-10mn away from the Central Arcade and the action; bright, immaculate apartment (appeared to be brand new); clear instructions to get there and detailed procedures to facilitate life while being there; from microwave to tea-towel, nothing was missing; quick response to practical queries... Although we did not get to meet, I felt Masa was someone I could rely on in case of need. Where I will be staying on my next visit to Hiroshima is a no-brainer 😜😜😜

The location is very good, only two trams from the most lively place in Hiroshima, only 10-15 minutes walk. The nearest tram stop can be changed to Hiroshima Station and Miyajimaguchi. Although the room is not big, but the room, bedroom, kitchen, balcony, bathroom, toilet, washing machine are all available, the kitchen pots and pans and dishes are also very complete, even the seasonings and oil, really very intimate. There is also an oven and microwave, which is super invincible. Living here will have the feeling of going home. If you are tired, you can return home very conveniently. It is very suitable for travel and you can quickly fill up the electricity and continue the next day! Very recommended!

Our hosts provided thorough, easy-to-understand instructions on how to get to their apartment, which made checking in a breeze. The apartment is located close to the peace park, streetcar station, convenience store, and many delicious restaurants. I'd recommend limiting your party to 2 adults though as the futons were the thinnest we've slept on in Japan. The bed was great though!

I used it for the Japanese national football match in Hiroshima. It was not far from the downtown area of Hiroshima city and was a good location for sightseeing in Hiroshima. I felt that it was a good room to stay with two people.

This room was great. It was really really clean and was super cosy. Had a balcony and a washer to sort clothes for a long trip. Was very close to the bomb dome which was super useful

This place was exactly what we needed! Close to the Peace Park and the local tram stops right in front of the building. The host was more than accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags before/after checkout so we could explore Miyajima and Hiroshima.

The apartment is very well located. We had a pleasant stay. there were some small touches of attention from the owners like to drink in the fridges, which was very nice especially with this heat!

Great location- 30 seconds to a park where kids can play, 1 minute to peace memorial park. Very spacious and comfortable.

This place is extremely spacious, but I came alone with just my grandmother, who can walk but is traveling with a wheelchair. We had no problems using the elevator, and there is space to leave the chair inside the front door. Can't speak to the futons, but the beds were comfortable, and it was good for my grandmother that they were elevated off the floor unlike in many Japanese apartments. Couches were comfortable as well. The A/C worked great and kept us warm. English instructions were printed on everything. I took advantage of both the 24-hour grocery maybe 5 minutes away, as well as the bakery right around the corner. The memorial park really is just a couple blocks away, the Atomic Bomb Dome was maybe a 6 minute walk away. Connectivity to the Itsukushima Shrine at Miyajimi was also great, either by the tourist ferry near the dome, or from the nearby subway stop. Being so near the park and the river, it was easy to go out for morning and evening walks. Hikari responded quickly to all communication from booking through our a stay, and everything was prepared and clean when we arrived. Would 100% recommend and would stay again.

This was a wonderful apartment at a great location set at an amazing price. My friends and I were surprised at how affordable it was to spend the night next-door to the Peace Park. We took advantage of said convenience--and the wonderful weather--to take a morning stroll there after we checked out. Just lovely. It's a shame that the museum wasn't open, but the reason for its closure is understandable. We also were able to access various parts of the city easily, as the apartment is close to a train stop, and enjoy two of our meals at nearby restaurants. Not only was the location great, but the apartment itself was spacious and spotless. Ample counter space in the kitchen--we didn't do much cooking, but it was noteworthy--and ample space for guests to sleep for parties larger than three. Overall, it was an excellent location for a surprisingly affordable price, and if we ever plan a similar trip, we will try to stay here again.

Great place to stay. Within walking distance of a great little grocery store and within just minutes of several awesome restaurants. We were just 5 minutes walk away from the Atomic Dome and Peace Park, as well as to the ferry terminal for Miyajima Island. Everything in the apartment was sparkling clean and we had all the amenities we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was in the perfect location for all the things we wanted to do in Hiroshima!

Hikaris apartement was a wonderful change from our cramped accommodation in Tokyo. Lots of space, Washing machine with English instructions and especially the location in Hiroshima - close to peace park and near the direct line to Miyajima saved us alot of time during our short visit. Would recommend!

Hikari is a polite host who responds quickly to messages. The room was clean and spacious as shown in the photo and very comfortable. We stayed with a group of friends, but we were able to relax and spend time in the spacious living room. There are delicious bakeries, supermarkets, and Hiroshima-yaki shops nearby, and there are various shops within walking distance.

Very spacious, It was a lovely 3LDK room. Walking distance to the peace park, downtown, walking distance, nearest station and big supermarket, Okonomiyaki, bakery and restaurant are very close and in a good location. The heater seat was very active during my winter stay. We were able to spend comfortably. Thank you very much. Also, when you come to Hiroshima, thank you.

The apartment is very well located, close to the Hiroshima parks. Having the bikes at the door helped us get around everything very easily. Very good host!

Clean, good location and good space. The bathroom is a little small- in keeping with japan in general but something to be aware of if you are a tall person or having poor mobility.

Akira is a wonderful host. Communication was easy, check in was a breeze and the apartment is centrally located near Peace Park and between the two major train hubs in Hiroshima. There was incredible food right downstairs and having access to bikes allowed us to see more of Hiroshima than we expected. The bathroom is very small, but that’s more of an observation than a complaint. We’d definitely consider staying here again.

Akira was really helpful with us needing to alter our booking. The place is small but very clean and has everything you need. The local okonomiyake restaurants are great. It’s really close to the peace park and dome- less than a 5 minute walk. Bikes are included, but if you’re tall consider renting bigger bikes!!

Large space, very nice, very clean, highly recommended! The super friendly host, if something happens answers you almost instantly. Perfect location, close to many museums, the Castle, tram stations. Highly recommend :)

It was clean and everything was there, this is the most important thing to me, the only thing i would suggest is that you give the house a bit of love since some things seem to be at the end of there life span.

Takeshi's place in Hiroshima is very convenient. It is located very close to the Honkawacho Hiroden station that services line 2, 3, 6, and 7. This station connects easily to the JR stations or Hiroshima Station for a flat fee ride. There is a conbini next door, elevator, and is extremely close to Peace Park. The balcony is really neat and is a great example of a balcony off street neighborhood, but not private. The room was very warm, bathroom is large, it has everything you need even coffee and a toaster. Would stay here again anytime I am in Hiroshima.

Takeshi's place was outstanding. Not only was the location central to many sight seeing areas, she also gave us some local tips on where to visit which turned out to be awesome!

A great space for an authentic japanese experience. The kotatsu was a very nice touch I didn’t expect. There’s plenty of futons to sleep on the tatami if you’d prefer a more authentic experience, or there’s an actual bed in the other room. The convenience store is close too. The only thing is that there’s no elevator/not a lot of restaurants nearby, but the train station is very close and it doesn’t take long to get somewhere to eat. It was very worth it for the price, I’d recommend it

So much space! This was by far the largest apartment I've stayed at in Japan (I actually stayed one door over, but it looks to be basically the same). It was a great value. Everything was clean and it was very close to the station, so travelling around was easy. Tom's responses were very fast and he was very considerate, giving me the option to move to the apartment next door after the guest before me had a fever. Much appreciated! Would definitely stay again!

It is a must stay place in hiroshima, hospitality is beyond five star and the apartment itself is very spacious and clean. Location is great to get to any tourist destination.

It was in a fantastic location in Hiroshima: close to downtown and bordering the peace park. Satoshi made the check-in very simple and was very easy to get in touch with.

This is a really nice apartment in a fabulous position. It is near to all the main attractions and transport links making it easy to get anywhere. The apartment is furnished in Japanese style. No chairs or couch to relax in. It is quiet, with just a little outside noise at times. No problems. There are quite good instructions for all the equipment.

We loved staying in Satoshi’s house! The location was amazing and just across the road from the Peace Park and Museum. It was also very handy to the main shopping streets and arcades. We also really enjoyed having two sleeping spaces - one room with a large western style mattress and another with traditional futons that we set out at night. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for self catering. We would highly recommend Satoshi’s if you are travelling to Hiroshima.

The apartment is same with the photos showed in Airbnb. It is near the bus station. You can just walk a few minutes to the apartment. Under the house, there are train and convenience store. The apartment is clean and large. We love to stay here thanks

If you travel to Hiroshima and you don’t stay at Edo’s Airbnb, you’re missing out. The place is very close to the Hiroshima draw cards and a tram stop. Very clean and spacious. Edo’s check in instructions and communication was fantastic. Amenities were clean and everything is in working order. Thanks to Edo for opening his place for us. Will be sure to recommend to others traveling to Hiroshima.

Great location with view of the atomic bomb dome from the balcony window. Convenient to visiting the Peace Park and right on the cable car line to get around the city. The living room was cozy and plenty of room for 4 adults and a toddler.

The location of the department of Rei is very good, quite close to the station, near the station there is also a supermarket with good prices. In the beginning I had problems with the WIFI because I confused a number, but then it was very good after Rei helped me, the communication is very good with Rei, he answers quite quickly, the clothes dryer served me a lot, it was also good to have a table To have dinner with my family and rest after the walks, I had everything I needed to spend my days in his apartment, Rei's father left us a very friendly welcome note, my only suggestion is to improve the cleanliness a bit. Then everything ok.

Resi’s apartment is very close to the train station which is great when you arrive and for future travel. We found it easy to find with the instructions supplied. Our kids had to sleep on futon beds on the floor, which we expected, and they were fine and kind of fun but three nights is the most we would suggest on such bedding. There is a table and chairs which is great! We ate two amazing meals at restaurants just downstairs and along the street. It seems we were in the good food area. Convenience stores are close by and the train station has so many places to eat and shop. The apartment is an older style so the amenities are a bit dated and tired but it was very clean. Great washing machine and dryer!

Rei's house is clean and just a 10mins walk from the HR station. Surrounding there are Lawson, 7-11, and family mart. For those who is driving, there is a car park just directly opposite the apartment, it is cheap too.

The location is convenient, it is near restaurants and convenient stores. Really accessible since it is near the train station. The house is very clean and complete. Rei is a very accommodating host.

Rie’s place is easily accessible from Hiroshima station which makes it super convenient for day trips in and out of Hiroshima. Place is spacious and could fit 6 people though there is only one bathroom! But it was nice and cosy for a family of 4 :) would recommend!

The price was very low and I was worried that it was exactly as shown in the picture, but when I entered it was a very clean and cute space! In addition, sheets and towels were clean, and I felt that every corner was cleaned. I would like to go again if I have the opportunity.

The place is located in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the station with good access to transport and stores, so it was a great place to retire to for the night after our group was tired from our travels.
