Just south of Dripping Springs. Take Dripping Springs Rd. (also called University) to the east. Turn right when you see the "Talavera" sign. This will take you through a large all residential foot of the mountains area. Stay on that road till you hit the parking area for the trails - the road will turn to a gravel road and you will be there. Great hiking, easy/moderate climb.
