Many Many couples get engaged at this incredible location. when you descend into the magic on a trolley, you are taken back in time to when there was attention detail in customer service, building, food design, and the air of romance is thick. Absolutely the best date night spot available. ( and it is less than a mile from the Glamper!)

Its an amusement park with legit rides on the beach. Best of both worlds. the beach here is the largest one we have in Santa Cruz. The ocean is very calm on this beach, and mom can tan while the kids get sick on the rides. perfect.

Arts & Culture

I know it's not an art gallery, but it mine as well be. The showcase of the diversity of our Monterey Bay underwater is jaw dropping. See jellyfish, great white sharks, octopus, and there is a special area for small chilren to learn and run around. this is in Monterey 40 min drive

I tried to tell you about first Fridays in downtown Santa Cruz, but it wouldn't search. Go downtown on friday evening. Just go-despite the fact you will be asked for change every 10 min. this is when you go and see the art shine through the cracks, in the restaurants, boutiques, roadside, and anywhere in between. The MAH is fantastick too, and shares a wall with the Abott square mentioned above.
