Capitola is a very, very special place, with a story book beach village and downtown, and the one and only Shadowbrook Restaurant. The Shadowbrook is romantic on steroids, with delicious cuisine, beverages and vintage beauty all around. It's even great for families. located just on the edge of the Soquel Creek, it boasts beautiful views, stroll friendly property and even an incline elevator (funicular) that takes you to the entrance.

There's even a farmer's market every Sunday from 11AM - 2PM with fresh organic fruits and vegetables. The farmer's market often features live music and local artists.

Roaring Camp Train and Railroad has two routes. One from Roaring Camp in Felton to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk that is a 3 hours roundtrip (1 hr to Santa Cruz, 1 hour layover, 1 hr ride back). The Santa Cruz train has both open air and closed passenger cars. The Big Trees ride through the redwoods is an 1 hour 15 minute round trip and only has open air cars. STUNNING SCENERY on your way to the Beach! Need I say more? :-)
