Yummy vegetarian lunches and delicious coffee and cakes. Fabulous shop too, for the trendier types, and is the perfect place to work as it has high speed Wifi. I adore the Buddha bowl and the raspberry and white chocolate muffins.

A personal favorite, especially in the Summer when you can sit outside by the stunning River Wye. Really yummy food and has a Vegan Menu. Why not take your swimming things and go for a dip in the river?

Yummy sandwiches and coffee. Perfect cosy spot for hot chocolate after a hike on Hay Bluff or a great place to cool off in the summer with a famous, homemade sheep milk ice-cream. (The ice-cream is to die for)

Stunning old Abbey ruin well worth a visit. Eat lunch at the Abby in the quaint cafe and take a walk up the mountain. Its a narrow lane the whole way to the Abby so not for those who hate to back their car. Stop off at the ancient chapel on the way.

Please ask at the house or in Hay for directions for this secret river spot. Swim at the Warren in the stunning River Wye, please note, this is a great dog walk all year around ( take the old railway line from Hay on Wye to the Warren) but do not attempt to swim unless its Summer and the River is not swollen. Can be dangerous so be very careful!
