Eltana’s wood fired bagels is around the corner. The bagels are made fresh daily and they have a variety of whipped cream cheeses (our favorite is honey almond). It’s a nice place to get a light breakfast, coffee and do a crossword puzzle that changes weekly.

Oddities

Archie McPhee is a strange novelty shop that could be good for souvenir hunting. Their rubber chickens are the best in Seattle, and I can think of no where else with better horse head masks. On the corner of Stone Way and 45th.

Sightseeing

Gasworks Park is perhaps Seattle's most iconic and famous parks. It's a 4-minute drive or 15-minute walk from your stay and has fantastic views of the city, and sunsets here are amazing. This is the place to be for the 4th of July. A Barge loaded with fireworks is moored in front of the park and the show is spectacular...but be aware that there will be 30,000 other people enjoying the show with you.
