because... it's almost too pretentious for even the most well-heeled hipster, however their Souffled Egg Sandwich is heavenly. To die for. All their treats are delicious. Seriously. Like get up early and wait in line for. Because that's exactly what you'll have to do for about 20 minutes. And that's 20 minutes of standing in line in an uber hipster coffeehouse/bakery that intentionally has no Internet service. That's how cool they are. And no, you can't call ahead because they have no phone either. So of course, now you have to go.

because... lemon ricotta pancakes, prime rib hash, and crab & egg. Their Bloody Marys are killer, too. Lindey's is upscale and a great place to 'hob nob'. It's definitely one of my top picks for brunch [pro tip: make a reservation for the patio and use the complimentary valet (tip generously)].

Sightseeing

This is a nice spot to see the downtown skyline. It overlooks the Scioto River and would make a nice backdrop for photos.

Essentials

Whole Foods is an up-scale "eco-minded chain with natural & organic grocery items, housewares & other products". That being said, it's pricey, but probably one of the few remaining stores that sells gluten-free bottled water.

Small, affordable, "grocery chain with a variety of signature items, plus produce, dairy & more". 'Signature items' means that you're not likely to find your favorite brand of morning cereal, but you'll probably fall in love with one that's similar.
