Everything Else

A great geothermal swimming pool, just around the corner. In Iceland, water is our greatest resource, producing geothermal water for all our space heating and electricity. There´re many geothermal swimming pools all over Iceland and the nearest one is just 5 minutes walk from my house, with an outdoor and indoor pools, many hot pots, a steambath and sauna. I highly recommend a visit to these wonderful spas. And it´s cheap:)
Reykjavík Bus Terminal, where most guests arrive from Keflavík Airport. From there, only a 10 min. walk up Barónsstígur, and you´ll soon find Leifsgata as the second street on your right.

The swimming pools of Iceland are our pride. Heated with our geothermal water, they´re fantastic spots for exercise, relaxation and the best way to meet the locals. There´s one just around the corner, from my house. It´s got both an indoors and an outdoors pool, hot and cold pots, a steambath and a sauna. I go there every morning, but they´re open till 22.00p.m.

Arts & Culture

Named after our most famous painter, Kjarval, this museum has a great blend of old and contemporary art. And a very good café/bistro, as well.
