My moms summerhouse is located 120 km from the capital, Tallinn close to the Baltic sea in a tiny village called Saasta in Matsalu National Park. It is perfect place for nature lovers to visit, explore and enjoy. Birdwatching, biking, trekking or just experiencing the vibe of an old farmhouse. It is also good place to stay and take a daytrips to Saaremaa, Pärnu or Haapsalu. Come to stay and help her maintain her dream :)
“If you are looking for peace and love nature, that is right in this house. Especially ornithologists will be thrilled. The house is decorated with love. We were warmly welcomed by the neighbor Unfortunately, we could not communicate with her because she does not speak English. It should also be noted that the nearest shop or restaurant is about 20km away. But we would come back anytime.”
The rustic and bohemian style small sauna house is on the beautiful Matsalu Nature park. The camp site is in the middle of the Puise village, but the courtyard is surrounded with trees which makes it more closed and private. CONTACT: firstname.lastname@example.org
“Weekend at the saunahouse was a perfect getaway from busy city life. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor kitchen and BBQ were great and we especially enjoyed the sauna. Having to heat up the washing water with wood added authenticity to the sauna experience. The outdoor dry toilet was the nicest and cleanest one I've seen. The surrounding garden and nature were beautiful and calm. We really enjoyed our stay there! :)”
The house is situated in a small peaceful village near Matsalu National Park. It was built in 1931 as a railway station with apartments for workers. After the last train left in 1968 the house was used as a post office and telecommunications museum. Since 2003 the house is my private property. I have been renovating it with natural materials in a creative way and some works are still in progress. There are four private rooms with 14 beds available for the guests. Room 2 accomodates 3 people.
“I only stayed one night in Meelike‘s lovely place. That was way too short because I had a wonderful time there. Meelike is so welcoming, open and interesting to talk to. Her place is not only full of pretty details, it has everything you need: a nice hot shower in a clean bathroom. Comfy beds, w-lan and a nice kitchen where you can get fresh berries from the forest and chat with other guest. I took the local bus from Pärnü and that worked out well. I will be back:)”
