Holiday rentals with breakfast in Saco River

We LOVED our weekend on Arrowhead Lake! Great house for families. We have three teenagers and loved having separate spaces for everyone, as well as places we could all gather together, inside or out! There was something for everyone! Perfectly set up for those who love to cook, fish, kayak, walk or just read a book outside! Nearby we enjoyed the farm stands, our first attempt at disc golf, my son's first catch of a small mouth bass and shopping at the Limerick Grocery Store (very well stocked!). We hope to return again soon!! Elizabeth was a wonderful and attentive host!

Emily’s place was the perfect getaway for our long weekend in KPT! We loved staying here and look forward to coming back!!

Nice, quiet neighborhood and the house is lovely. Loved sitting in the backyard and watching the birds in the morning. Perfect home base for our visit to Maine. Would definitely stay here again!

Dorothy's place is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. She is a responsive and helpful host. It is a great place to relax after a busy day, prepare a small meal. I have stayed at Dorothy's multiple times and hope to return!

Julie was fantastic and always responded in minutes to any questions we had. I love their home manual which is so easy to navigate and has answers for everything. The home is super cozy and the large gas fireplace downstairs was a treat on cooler April mornings. The weather wasn't on our side for 1/2 of short stay, but we had a family olympics inside, using their ping pong table, foosball and connect 4 game. We did get out on kayaks one day - lovely lake, larger than you think! tons of hiking nearby too.

The minute we walked in we felt at home - the house is beautiful and is in a great location - quiet but close to Portsmouth NH for great shopping and restaurants and close to Kittery outlets. The beds were comfortable and the layout perfect. The back yard was private and peaceful with beautiful gardens. Heidi was a great communicator - warm and welcoming - like a long lost friend. We will plan another trip to Heidi's house - we loved it so much and are thankful Heidi's family is willing to share it as a home away from home for us

My stay was very comfortable. The property was well kept and updated. The beds and furniture were were in perfect condition. Both the house and the grounds were exceptionally clean and well maintained. I would visit again!

My husband and I booked Shannon’s bungalow for our wedding weekend. It was the perfect spot, less than 10 minutes away from The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain. We got to spend time out on the porch after our wedding staring at the stars and we woke up the morning after our wedding to a stunning sunrise over Manchester. Shannon was a pleasure to work with, made her unique venue location easier to find. Thank you Shannon!

Thanks for everything it was a very beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Close to the beach for walking to restaurants and for the view.

We needed a place for my son’s externship. Setup for a long stay and feel like home. All the amenities made for an easy tradition to have everything provided and setup beyond expectations. Super quick and kind with any questions and concerns. Would highly recommend anyone to stay at this listing. A east walk to downtown and any site seeing.

A very cute basement apartment below a family home with plenty of space to explore. We had only stayed one night but would’ve felt comfortable staying longer in this lovely space. The hosts provided many snacks in a little welcome basket as well as ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice retreat with a lovely space around them.

Everything about our stay at Emilys airbnb was perfect. The apartment was very comfortable and spotless, the location, the proximity to family and downtown, and the fact that breakfast is provided is a PLUS ! Emily is one of the friendliest hosts I have ever encountered. I'm only sorry the survey only allows five stars ! We're already booked to return in a few weeks!

We had a great time at Joan’s cozy condo! She made freshly baked goodies upon our arrival, it was delicious! 2 min away from the beach! The location can’t be beat. The only downside was the train, very close to the house, that passes roughly every three hours during week days. If you don’t mind the nose, the place is perfect for a small family, friends and couples. It had different board games, beach toys for kids, foldable beach chairs etc. Overall great place! The unit was very clean and had all the kitchen appliances we needed. The beds including mattresses and linens were very comfortable and plenty of blankets were available. Location was great to visit the sights in Bath. We'd definitely stay here again.

Pamela’s Airbnb was very clean and we absolutely loved the mid century/retro decor! The place was easy to find and up one street from all the restaurants and shops down by the river. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of options to choose from on TV, the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. This place really was a hidden gem and I would 100 percent book again!

Mary and Jim are wonderful hosts.They were very welcoming and made me feel at home. Jim prepared wonderful creative home made meals. I really enjoyed conversations about travel experiences and sitting by the fire with the pups! As a single traveler I highly recommend staying here. The bed was super cozy, the host was responsive and friendly, and the cats were adorable! I had a nice evening with the host chilling with the cats (and petting and playing with them) while watching TV, and when I stepped out for dinner I found a great place following her recommendations. The breakfast was great! The French toast was delicious, and the timing was perfect - made fresh shortly after I came downstairs, close to the time we’d discussed the day before. Check-in and check-out were simple too.

This is the second time I've stayed with Marsha and Steve and I never wanted to leave! Their home is beautiful and welcoming, as is the island. Can't wait to come back :)

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

I have been to many wonderful B&Bs over the last 40 years (Canada, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Virginia, ...) and Brookhirst Farm ranks right at the top. Victoria and George are wonderful hosts. The accommodations are very comfortable, beautifully decorated and very homey. The view is incredible, one you would want to wake up to every morning. Every breakfast was delicious (George's pancakes were perfect). And if that isn't enough dogs are welcome. I will be returning more than once.

Loved having coffee in the sun room! Although we were there for a very short time, it was so nice to have a comfortable, elegant place to stay that wasn't a hotel while we visited town for our daughter's parent's weekend. Bjorn and Elaine are wonderful hosts of a beautiful, historic site. The house itself is rich with lovely historic details including wide plank floors that one would never see, old glass, incredible wood beams, and more. Bjorn and Elaine could not have been more welcoming and kind. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return should we find ourselves at the beautiful lake in the future. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

From Ron’s place to Waterville Valley Resort where I was going, was a short ride, much faster than going up 49 from the highway. Ron’s room 11 opens privately at ground level in the back of the house. There is an inside stairway to the upstairs as well. The suite has a large living room, a private bathroom and a bedroom. I was there by myself so it was much more than I needed. It would be great for two people and maybe more if they can share a bathroom. Everything was very clean and there were two big towels, two smaller towels and two washcloths. Great base for going to Waterville Valley and anywhere else around the area.
