Chalet holiday rentals in Saco River

This home was an amazing place to connect and enjoy with old friends. The basement has tons of entertainment options between pool, football and a sauna to name a few. We found ourselves opting to stay in one night because we were having so much fun. Amazing location with access to tons of downtown options. Katie was incredibly welcoming and accessible would recommend a stay!

Cozy, clean place. Great location for ski in/out. Attitash Abenaki lift is just right next to back yard. Owner communication is excellent. We had wonderful time with kids during our ski trip! Thanks Donald.

This house is perfect! The location, the view, the comfort, one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. Everything you need, in the kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the patio... it has it! Magnificent house and wonderful host. Michael was extremely responsive and accommodating, making sure to ensure our stay was comfortable throughout. The views were stunning and the fireplace was an excellent central point for us all to share during the evenings. We had a wonderful time and the weekend will surely be a fond memory for us. We’ve been staying at Mark‘s place for years. It’s our favorite winter vacation spot. This winter was the best we’ve ever had for skiing. There was tons of snow. We all just love it here and hope to continue the tradition in years to come 🌲☃️❄️

The view from this house is beautiful. Everything was very clean and well stocked. I didn’t need to come with towels or paper towels; there was enough for 11 people for 4 days!

Airbnb Review: A Perfect Getaway! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and I can confidently say it was one of my best experiences yet! The great location made it easy to explore the surrounding area while also providing a peaceful retreat. The gorgeous views of the mountains were simply breathtaking, and I found myself mesmerized by the scenery right outside the window. The space was clean and well-stocked with everything we could possibly need, from hot dog skewers to coffee, mustard, shampoo, and even a toothbrush! It truly felt like a home away from home. The comfortable space offered plenty of room for relaxation, but my favorite feature was the outdoor screened-in porch. It gets excellent afternoon sun, making it the perfect spot to unwind. I loved lounging in the hammock chairs under the porch while soaking in the stunning landscapes. Enjoyed everything about our stay. Beautiful property, loved the sauna and ability to snowshoe right out the door. Quaint and nicely decorated. Plenty of privacy, room for guests including extra parking. Had nearly 12 inches of snow while there, quite the winter wonderland. Quickly plowed, shoveled and sanded when needed. Oversized windows and unique architecture made it all extra special. Will definitely return. Perfect for any season.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Colby and his wonderful home. We absolutely loved it - it was clean, comfortable, homey, had everything you could possibly want, and Colby was the most wonderful host. We can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay as a family with young children. Owner was responsive and flexible in accommodating our needs and helping us find what we needed. House was cute and well appointed for family travel (had a high chair, pack and play and baby gate for our littlest and games for the older kids). Location was wonderful for accessing skiing, tubing, hiking, skating, restaurants. We would definitely come back here!

10/10 place and would DEFINITELY come back to this house. Kim was incredibly responsive and easy to book with. Once we arrived, we were blown away by how great the place was - fully stocked kitchen, crock pots, towels, games, etc… definitely the best AIRBNB I’ve been to in a while! 3 mins away from the mountain too which a great big mud room and boot heaters. Great find!

Alyssa’s house was absolutely fantastic. Very fun weekend away for a friends bachelor party. Everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep on and we had plenty of fun at the house. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

Ian and Katie’s property was exceptional in every way. Everyone in our family had their own private area if they needed to escape for alone time. The views are amazing. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It’s close to all that the Mount Washington region has to offer. P.A.

Beautiful home, great communication, easy access to skiing, loved the giant mud room ..made it easy to keep ski boots, jackets, ski pants and sneakers for a big crowd. Decent parking for multiple cars. Plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils, bath and dish towels and bedding... Hot tub was broken but Julia was on top of getting it fixed ASAP. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time staying at Brian’s house. This is our second time staying there and we definitely want to come again. His house is clean and spacious with plenty of room for our large group. He left nice extras like coffee filters, soaps, shampoo and all kinds of other things that were so helpful to have there. The house is right on the ski trail which made it so easy for our group to access all the mountain trails. We really appreciate the wonderful accommodations!

We stayed at Chris’ place on our trip to see foliage in the area. Chris was always very quick to respond to any questions and was very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and buy groceries. We took our 2 small dogs with us and we loved that Chris’s place was super dog friendly. It was a bit remote but we definitely will return if we are up in the area again because it was so dog friendly.

We stayed for two weeks in November. Absolutely lovely and a wonderful stay. Loved the personal touches and extra effort. Such a fun guest book too!! Clearly a home that has hosted so many memories. We will miss it!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Chalet for our anniversary. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our weekend special. When we first checked in, there was soft music playing and mood lighting, making the cabin feel warm and cozy. They kindly provided us with a flower bouquet, an anniversary cake, treats, and wine. Feras wrote us an anniversary card that was personally addressed to me and my boyfriend; he had clearly read our reservation request closely and had thoughtfully curated our experience accordingly. Ultimately, we had a great stay and we would love to go back in the future.

Michael was a very thoughtful and responsive host, with clear instructions and proactive handling of situations. The house itself was very beautiful and comfortably slept everyone in my party of 8. We would definitely recommend AWD and snow tires for those visiting in the middle of winter. There was a huge snowstorm during our visit and Michael was clear about when the plow would be visiting, although we did have to wait a few hours and shovel ourselves out a little bit, but there were shovels on the property to add to the ones we brought in our cars. We felt there was a longer list of checkout instructions compared to other properties but we also felt that Michael and Maggie provided a greater number and higher quality of amenities such as a fully stocked kitchen and bar area. We would definitely visit again to try out the hot tub and boat in the summer. Thank you to the hosts for sharing your home with us for the weekend!

Nova’s place is so spacious and peaceful. Everything looked great and was cozy and accommodating. Fall on the lake is amazing!

Island Pond, VT, is a perfect place to visit to really relax! (I came here 40 years ago and said that I wanted to come back some day, and I finally made it. SO GLAD that we did!) The chalet on the lake has the best views, everything you could possibly need, and is very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck, the dock, the kayaks, and there was even firewood waiting for us so we could enjoy the outdoor fire pit in the evening. The Adirondack chairs were a comfy place to sit and watch the ducks, heron, and listen to the loons. We even saw two eagles! We got so many wonderful photos of the trip, too. Chris was the best ever in communicating with us about local sights to see, events, restaurants, and just checking in via text to be sure all was going well. Every tip he shared led us to places (and meals) we wouldn't have wanted to miss. My husband's luggage actually arrived three days late and Chris loaned him clothes. We feel like we made a friend - truly, and we can hardly wait to return!! :)
