TAIGA KALLIORANTA A small, self-catering luxury cottage of 30 m², open all year round, in the tranquillity of Vääräjärvi, between Mäntyharju and Ristiina. A peaceful getaway for couples, for remote working or for a creative break. Here, there is no noise from cars or neighbours; instead, you are surrounded by pine trees, a lake, and a rocky shore. Find your peace in a classic Finnish cottage with a sauna in the immediate vicinity of Lake Kivenkänä in South Karelia. The cottage is electrified, service water must be carried from the lake, guests must bring their own drinking water. Dry toilet. Not far from the cottage is the Kyläkuppila Käpälämäki bar, where in addition to the classic offer of drinks and meals, you can also buy basic groceries, various consumer goods, and fishing permits. Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa Ruoholampi Charming 65 m² cottage located in Ruoholampi, Lappeenranta, close to the LUT campus. The cottage features a small private yard and beach. For an authentic Finnish sauna experience, enjoy the traditional lakeside wood-fired sauna with its gentle heat. The beach is shallow and child-friendly. The cabin accommodates up to 4 people. (In 2026, the lake water level is exceptionally low, as is the case elsewhere in Eastern Finland. So swimming may be difficult in shallow areas.)

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Rockhouse is hand-built from local wood. The cabin is a warm cabin equipped with amenities on a rock in the middle of nature and forest animals. The terrace overlooks about 4 km from the lake in the direction of the sunset. Separate landscape sauna and glazed atmospheric barbeque hut on the terrace. The cottage is perfect for a couple and very good for a small family. Big deck around the house. Part of the deck glazed. Your own well water is drinkable.
