Our wall tent offers a sweet retreat in the woods about 10 miles outside of Bayfield. We are located on a small working organic farm with vegetable and perennial gardens, apple trees, and rustic accommodations. We are located near Lake Superior and are about 6 miles from Meyers Beach in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Our property is located on 40 acres and has a distant, but beautiful view of Lake Superior. We are on the edge of thousands of acres of county land. The perfect escape!

A Suite Getaway

You'll love this place because of the spectacular views, horses, wildlife, fishing, hiking and hot tub for relaxing, a romantic getaway or simply just girl time. This spot is perfect for couples or solo adventurers! A unique suite is attached to an elegant vintage peg barn. Space for bringing horses, snowmobiles or ATV's since we have trails. A mile away from snowmobile trails and 25 mins from a State Park. Also, perfect for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Fire pit available as well.

Lakefront house is 30 feet from the water

Find your next peaceful getaway at Loons Nest Retreat, a unique lakefront 4-bed, 2 full bath (2000 sq. Ft.) vacation rental! This lake house sits on a point of Ward Lake and is surrounded by large pine trees, is nestled on a private road, and boasts a dock, making it easy to use the included kayaks, paddle boat, catch fish, use the swimming platform, or go swimming directly from the property. After fun-filled days, unwind on the patio, relax by the fire pit, or go soak in the soaking tub.

We are an event center but do not have events or weddings during your stay. This cozy one-bedroom cottage is set against the tree line. In the morning, enjoy coffee on the private porch, go snowshoeing, hiking, fishing, or canoeing in and around Brule River State Forest in the afternoon, and watch a few movies in the evening. Yurt-Style Tent at Stone Creek Farm

1 of 4 campsites on the farm, this yurt-style tent has all you need to enjoy camping without the work! The campsite includes a picnic table, BBQ grill and fire pit. There is a self composting toilet on site. Camp carts available to bring gear out. Drinking water is available from the hose out by the high tunnel. It is about a quarter mile walk to the site.
