Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Nice 2-bedroom, fully-equipped

Very nice 30 m2 2-room apartment, refurbished and equipped, completely independent and adjoining our villa, 5 minutes' walk from the village center of Saint Drézéry (large wooded park, shops, restaurant, tennis...). Ideally located, surrounded by vineyards and greenery, the accommodation is 20 minutes from Montpellier, 15 minutes from Sommières, 45 minutes from Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and Nîmes. For swimming, the beaches are 30 minutes away (Carnon, Plalavas, Grande-Motte), the Gorges de l'Hérault are 45 minutes away and lakes are nearby.

Very quiet place and surroundings. Located 15 minutes from Exit 28 of the A709 highway. Located 20 minutes from Montpellier city center and 30 minutes from the beaches. Free parking around the studio. No outside. Linens and bath towels provided in the accommodation. Possibility of having a travel cot at no extra charge.
