'Pennywort' is nestled above the timeless and unspoilt valley of Nanquidno, a birdwatchers haven. Having already been enjoyed by 3 generations of our own family, the cottage is now somewhere our guests regularly return to, some for over 30 years! The garden is a beautifully peaceful area to sit and read, eat outdoors, watch the buzzards and witness spectacular summer sunsets. A 10 minute stroll down the hill following the stream to the old water mill, brings you to the sea and the SW coast path.

Arty miners cottage, wild tin coast of Botallack

This old miners cottage has been colourfully transformed by the artist owner. Traditional granite walls keep the rooms cool in summer and on chilly evenings you can cosy up around the log burner. There is a good size garden with mature trees, a BBQ and outdoor dining area. It's the perfect base for exploring the mines of Botallack, where Poldark was filmed and is also close to many local beaches including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. The house is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The cottage is set in the walled kitchen garden, as well as having shared access to grounds of the main house, the swimming lake and woodland that forms the Trenoweth Estate. it is a mix of fabulously simple and rustic with all mod cons. Plenty of walks on the doorstep across the SW Coastal Path. The Logan Rock Inn pub is 5 mins walk across the fields and Sennen Cove surf beach is less than 10 mins drive. Newlyn, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount, St Ives are a 15-25 min drive for activities and restaurants.

Pines at Carminowe Farm, a peaceful rural retreat

Cozy flat located at Carminowe Farm, just outside the village of Pendeen, slightly off the beaten track with no close neighbours, making it extremely peaceful and a haven for wildlife. It's a short walk to the shop, pubs and local facilities. The coast path is approximately a mile and a half away. The flat has ample parking and its own courtyard seating area. The hosts live in the main part of the house and have a border collie called Bill and a cat.
