Relax on the veranda overlooking the treetops or take a 5 minute walk to St Keyne Wishing Well train halt and catch the 15 minute train to the seaside town of Looe with its own beach and plenty of restaurants. There is lots to do locally or you can do nothing at all and enjoy the peacefulness of the space.

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

We are just 2 miles from the A38, one of Cornwall's main arterial roads from which you can easily explore the county. We are 2.5 (steep!) miles from Causeland station from which you can get to the main line at Liskeard or into Looe. NB This is a branch line and trains stop running early.

The bungalow has been freshly decorated and a new oven and ceramic hob has just been fitted We allow 1 or 2 well behaved dogs to stay. A great location for touring the wonderful south coast of Cornwall which is dotted with numerous tiny villages and superb beaches, making this property a good base for a Cornish holiday at any time of year.
