Enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay. This is a self-contained, private annexe to our family home with its own separate entrance and parking space. You have plenty of room for two people with double bedroom, en-suite shower room, and kitchen/lounge with patio. Located close to the main Deal to Dover road, it is still quiet and green, but just 12 minutes' drive to Dover port, the A2 and A20. A short walk takes you to the beach, the cliffs, Walmer Castle, local shops or the train station.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. Close to Deal and Kingsdown beaches (walkable). Dover port is 5mins away by car, Canterbury City 20mins. Surrounded by beautiful fields and the smell of the sea air. Sit and feed the friendly animals Jonny & Lucy the donkeys, Sadie the horse & Lionel & Charlie the sheep (who love a stroke) whilst drinking your morning coffee. And say hello to our pups. A stylish, laid back retreat minutes from the sea. With the option of enjoying a relaxing sauna and invigorating cold plunge which is paid for separately. Alba Lodge is a light, airy, double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed and freshen up in the large walk in shower. The kitchen is a reclaimed carpenter's bench equipped with all the essentials. The sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

Kick back and relax in our lodge 20 minutes from Dover castle, ferry port and Eurotunnel, 1 minute drive to Howletts zoo and 5 minute walk to Bekesbourne railway station direct into Canterbury or London. The beautiful village of Bridge is a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive where you’ll find a Michelin star pub/restaurant, other beautiful pubs with amazing gardens and a wide variety of village amenities such as shop, hair dresser, pharmacy, optician and cafe.

Cosy country hideaway - Elham Valley, Canterbury

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Set in the rolling hills of East Kent this is the place to escape the rat race and simply unwind and recharge. The Summerhouse sits in the middle of a 5 acre garden with no immediate neighbours. This former outbuilding has been lovingly repurposed and offers an open plan living space with a day bed which converts into two singles or a kingsize bed, a kitchen and a separate bathroom.

The property is based at the rear of the main house and access is via a gravel path.
