If you are looking for a beautiful and authentic house in this region, look no further. Villa les Mouettes is a more than great house! With all the comforts, and lots of toys and stuff for children. Beautiful and well-maintained garden and in the house, everything has been thought of. A lot of attention to details! Also a great location: close to Bayeux, landing beaches and beautiful villages. We stayed with two families and grandmother (4 small children+5 adults) and the house was for perfect. We look forward to seeing you next time!

We had a very pleasant weekend in Sylvie's accommodation which perfectly matched the description, we were hosted very well. Well-equipped and a nice decoration. A stone's throw from the beach and shops without using the car. Sylvie is a pleasant and responsive host. We recommend this property!

A house where we felt at home as soon as we opened the door. It is pleasant, spacious and bright, the addition of the veranda is a real plus and to add to the pleasure of being there, the raspberries that give some fruit every day are a must! Agnès is available and very pleasant, we will be happy to come back.

We spent 2 days visiting the sights related to D-Day and Operation Overlord with our children. The home is directly on the dunes at Omaha Beach and served as a perfect home-base. While a little dated, we enjoyed the simple charm.

At Christophe's, Normandy hospitality has its champion! Barely through the door: self-service lollipops, glass of friendship with a homemade knob, farmer's cider in tasting that makes the seagulls sing in choir. The tone is set: simplicity, generosity, and tailor-made advice. In 3 days, our host guided us and provided us with the good places: historic walk in Caen, breath of fresh air at the Orne estuary, chills at the Grand Bunker Museum, go-karting tour, dinner at the Oyat, ultra fresh fish and shellfish at unbeatable prices at the morning auction. The accommodation is impeccable: spacious, perfect bedding, heated indoor pool as advertised. And throughout the stay, little touches that I keep secret to preserve the surprise... In short: a golden host, a top apartment and a concentrate of Norman generosity. We leave with a smile, with only one idea: to come back!

We were beyond impressed with Dany and Elodie's Airbnb. Their self-contained flat is simple and clean while also catering for every circumstance you may need in your own home. We were happy to see a secure, private decent sized garden for us to use. After a long day out exploring it was an added bonus to relax in the hot tub. Thank you both for aiding in a memory of our lovely little French holiday. We would love to come back again in the future to do all the things we didn't get to do in your beautiful part of the world.

Spacious clean house and beautiful rustic-chic interior. Garden, small heated outdoor pool and pool table perfect to keep the Kids of screens. Perfect location in short walking distance to the beach and towns.

nice and clean house. beds slept fine. wifi was good. house fully furnished. contact with host was nice and close ( walking distance less than 10 minutes) the beach . Swimming pool also well and nicely located. in short, we ( 4 people) had a great time and would love to come back. regards, Mieke

After we got lost in the journey, Catherine was very helpful despite the late hour so that everything goes smoothly. She is kind, reliable and a very good host. The place leaves nothing to be desired, it is very well maintained, wonderfully equipped and extremely clean. A pure joy! Since we had very pleasant temperatures despite the early season, we could even use the intimate and beautiful terrace. And the area... always happy to stay again. Saint Auby sur Mer is very well located, the cottage close to the sea and from there you can make many day trips. We ourselves were in the footsteps of D-Day. Overall a 10 in every way. We will be back!

What a beautiful house in an oasis of peace. Very helpful host and support. The house is right by the sea next to a forest full of birds. Beautiful walks can be made from the house. A car is essential. The house has all the comforts. There are bikes, games, books, a canoe etc. Perfect wifi also available. This house is really recommended and we will definitely come back.

We had a great weekend in a clean and very well-equipped house. Close to the beach on foot and shops by car. Lucie is very friendly and introduced the property to us very clearly via video in advance. Easy to turn on and very enjoyable hot tub. Easy and fast key exchange. This house, both bright and nicely decorated, offered us a most pleasant stay as a family. We were able to enjoy our meals on the terrace as the weather was so ready with a view of the sea, and enjoyed, in the evening, the warmth of the wood stove. (Consider buying wood from the store next door or picking it up from the beach ) Very good stay. Everything is designed to make you feel good.

Exceptional stay in a house where nothing was missing! Just a short walk to the beach,and close to other major cities,we were able to recharge in a beautiful,peaceful setting and close to the museums and historical sites of the area! Lots of kitchen utensils, comfortable bedding, and a big thank you to Sandrine who we couldn't meet on arrival, but with whom we were still able to communicate via the phone and who was always very responsive. We have enjoyed its proximity to the sea, just at the end of the street the steps down and you are on a very nice beach. The house is spacious, has everything you need for a good stay!

We had a great week at Jade’s place on Jersey. Clear and detailed instructions and tips on what to do. Great location right on the beach so fantastic views every day. The apartment itself is lovely, clean, has everything you need and was beautifully decorated to reflect its location. Bus service was really good so no need to hire a car; loads to do; enjoyed the breakfast at the nearby Gunsite cafe and particularly enjoyed a walk to St Brelade Bay along a disused railway. One particular highlight was Sir Walter Raleigh at Elizabeth Castle - definitely to be recommended. Thank you Jade!
