“My friend Alex and I loved staying here! We could live in a house like this. It's basic but very cute and with everything you need for a good stay. The beds are comfy, the view is amazing and the food from the café is delicious! We slept here so well with the sound of birds and nature around us. Also the location is perfect, in the middle of the island so easy accessible for day trips to other parts. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Steven & Wendy!”

“A very homely and spacious place to accommodate a medium sized family. Air is crisp and clean in the mountains. Views and sights are at nearby, sliding rocks, Robert Louis Stevenson museum, waterfalls etc. We are a family of four, who we're on our vacation to see family for an important ceremony. We were pleased to see that this house had a big yard for my children to play. The indoor space was also wide and with all amenities necessary to continue with family day to day living. Although we spent most of our days sight seeing and visiting family in Apia. The feeling of security was never compromised knowing that we Had Justine (hosting) who was prompt with endless responses that covered tips for getting connected to the outside world I.e. Simcard arrangement, best ways to get around the island, and with in-depth coverage of how to use certain amenities in the house. For non-samoan speaking visitors and guests. Justine is fluent in both Samoan and English and ill make communication seemless for you. Malõ Justine!! It is with pleasure that i offer a 10/10 as my likliehood to recommend asotas1 as a place to call home in Apia . nothing better than to blend in with locals by living like a local.”
Tuamasaga Eco-Lodge is just getting started and so far, we have only one unit available but dream of adding more in the not too distant future. It's been my and my husband, Mark's, dream to get involved in tourism once we both retired. Our customized units are based on the traditional Samoan fale (house) style but more closed in so that the overseas visitor can feel a bit more secure. The Lodge is located in the cool mountain regions of Samoa at the base of Mt Vaea near Robert Louis Stevenson.
“Georgina was a great host to welcome us the first day and saying goodbye for the last. The place took us a few minutes to find it, but you get happy when you get there. It's a quiet neighborhood with very friendly dogs that welcome you every time you come back. Great view and beautiful garden! The place is a decent size for 2 with a patio and it was a great experience to stay in an eco-lodge. I would recommend to get moskito spray as there are many at night. Great place to stay and close to Apia.”
