Holiday rentals in Salcantay

The home and surrounding views are simply spectacular! We did not end up having as much time there as intended during our 1 night stay, so we most definitely would have loved to enjoy the space longer. It is very hard to get in/out of, so a car or driver with 4WD is a need that we learned the hard way! The food and service available from local Freddy was spectacular too!

The house is located in Chilca, surrounded by nature and perfect for disconnecting. We really enjoyed exploring the nearby river and hiking the area, which is really peaceful and picturesque. If you are looking for tranquility and beauty, this is the place. Also, Percy, the host, was very attentive and was always available for any questions, making sure our stay was perfect. ¡Thank you Percy! I hope to return soon.

We had a lovely night at Jakeline's apartment. She and her husband were very responsive and helpful. The private bathroom is outside the apartment, but on the same landing, and you have to climb about a hundred steps to reach the apartment, but it's not disturbing. The apartment was well located, close to the central square. Thank you!

Belisario and his team really took care of us! He cooks really well. Good advice for the Machupicchu route… Quiet place with the gentle sound of water that puts us to sleep … We highly recommend Belisario. He even kept our motorcycle for us for 2 days.

This is a very calm place, it is close to the main plaza of Mollepata. My kids enjoyed playing in the garden, at night it is very quiet, totally silent. Diana is excellent in communication and her family is very kind. Even though the kitchen is shared in theory, we had it for ourselves all the time. My family and I had a great time because the place is rustic and cozy, we eat, talk and made memories in the kitchen, it made wonders to disconnect and enjoy a simple living. note: You can visit the Humantay lake which is 1 hour 20 minutes from the Mollepata plaza, and then come back here and relax.

Our experience at Rita's hotel was extremely positive. The comfortable and clean hotel. Rita was always at our disposal every time we need her. She recommended what to do regarding our visit to Machu Picchu. We would choose it again if we have to return to Aguas Calientes without a doubt. Super recommended.

If we could give more than five stars we would!! This stay was one of the highlights of our trip! The place is absolutely gorgeous and Daniela and her parents are the most amazing people!! They are so good at communicating and making sure you are comfortable enjoying the stay! They made us a delicious dinner and breakfast. We also picked some fresh avocados and grenadillas from their farm. The views were stunning! It’s a great midway point between Cusco and Humantay Lake. Highly recommend!
