A small coastal cottage roughly 5 min drive outside the harbour town of Saldanha. The cottage is private but connects to the side of our home. It is literally on the ocean with spectacular views of the bay and harbour boasting 3km of sandy beach, stretching in either direction. The bedrooms are north facing, catching mid day sun. The cottage falls with in a small private home owners estate, is secure and quaint and is perfect for those wanting to spend their days lazing on the beach.

Our rates are charged PER PERSON/per room. There is a large living area with full DSTV & a wood burning stove. Please note that you may only use wood (no charcoal ) in the stove. Kept immaculately clean and tidy. It has 2 beds, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, small patio with gas Weber braai, Smart TV (Netflix) and Fibre Wifi. But for that, the unit is basic, just the way we like for a family oriented, beach getaway. All you need to do is arrive, and relax.

La Mer offers guests the opportunity to stay right on the beach, close to restaurants. This ideally situated self-catering unit offers the best views of the ocean, the beach and breathtaking sunsets. In case of a power failure, an inverter and back up batteries are installed and we will do our best to ensure that the lights, TV and Wi-Fi are working. This is a developing town and building activity is taking place in the area. Unfortunately no children or pets.
