Charming Historic Central Texas Cottage

Situated on a large lot with mature trees, the home is two blocks from downtown San Saba and boasts over 2,700 square feet, three bedrooms, two updated bathrooms, a large kitchen, covered porches, and dedicated work space with high speed internet. There is a large circle drive or street space available for those who need trailer/equipment parking. The home was built in 1877 for John Guion, who served as San Saba county judge and was president of the Texas A&M board of directors from 1914-1918.

The house has a huge porch perfect for relaxing outside and enjoying the quiet, wildlife, and beautiful skies. We keep it dark (Bortle Scale Class 2) so the stargazing opportunities are excellent as are the bird and butterfly watching.
