We had a great stay. Idar was very helpful and easy to reach when there were problems with the hot tub that could then be resolved.

Awesome and charming house 😊 Well equipped with what you need to stay. A little secluded place, but by car it's not a problem! Lovely with hot tub 👌 Never met the host, but easy to communicate with her on message, she responded quickly if there was anything we were wondering about. The stay is recommended by us, we are happy to book again if we are going to the area at a later date!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

Kristian was a terrific host. His home was very comfortable in walking distance to everything yet In a quiet area of town. The view from his apartment was also amazing. Kristian was in constant communication making our stay very easy. He also was great at offering ideas for day trips. We rented a car and drove to Geiranger which we highly recommend. The route Kristian gave us took us to some of the most beautiful areas of the country. We highly recommend staying at Kristian's home.

The home is characterized by being outdated, but this was in a previous review and was something we were prepared for. Otherwise, the host always responded quickly to questions and there was enough room for everyone in the traveling party (3 adults, 2 youngsters, 2 children). We had everything we needed for a nice weekend in Volda.

This lovely place was our home for almost a month. The location is central and the house very cozy. The mountains are your backyard and the sea right in front of you. We made several trips to the surrounding area, including freeskiing in the mountains, surfing in Hoddevik, Runde puffin island, city visit to Ålesund and hikes in the area. There are several rental saunas in the area, the nearest one is 5 minutes away. The house is well equipped. The hosts Anne-Mari and Terje are very helpful. Sometimes there was bass from the road from the youth's cars, but it didn't bother us too much. Would love to go back again!

This peaceful place mixed with a comfortable place to call home was the ideal ending to a trip to Norway. The house is set up with great areas to sit and write, kick back and relax, cook delicious food, and get a good night's sleep. I enjoy the house and thought it was cozy. The island was quiet, the walks were inspiring and the sea and mountain views were breathtaking. Ruben's parents were a delight and so helpful and kind. I can't say enough about their generosity. If you're looking for a place to relax, reset, and unwind this is the ideal location. It's rare in this busy world to find a place where you can breath fresh air, move your body, be inspired by nature and feel safe in a cozy home. The island has sheep and llamas to entertain you! If I come back to Norway, I'll definitely make this part of my trip! Thank you to Ruben and his parents for creating a safe haven for us all to enjoy!

Good communication with Kristin. Everything was clear and well explained. The flat is spacious, plenty of space. The single beds in the rooms are a little smaller than we are used to, but nothing else to criticize!

We (with two boys 13, 16) had a wonderful week. Beaches of Refvik or Hoddevik (white beaches, blue water :) in about 1 h 20), Sunnmørsalpen (1.5 h) or just the mountain lakes in the immediate vicinity with magnificent views over the coastal mountains (in 10 min you are in the fjell above the house or 30 min to the brandal) - a highlight is possible every day. The beach right by the house is fine sand and the water as clear as it can be. The boat is robust and works perfectly. We are inexperienced anglers, had great fish (Pollack). But driving around by boat alone is wonderful. The house (very clean, loving details) has everything you need, it is a small, loving pearl. The upper floor is a pearl especially for children + teenagers - with TV, private couch and two small SZ with a bed. Our landlord said "it's not a luxury here" - we felt it different! Those who appreciate the important things have luxury there.

We had a wonderful time during our two-night stay at Sylve. The huts offered great privacy and the view of the fjord was simply enchanting. We are particularly grateful to Jenny for allowing us to use the sauna by the fjord. The hut was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the kitchen was immaculate. We especially appreciated the fact that the hut is dog-friendly, although it is important to ensure that any mess is cleaned up after your pet. We look forward to returning in the future. Quaint and beautifully furnished old farmhouse. You can see the attention to detail and the history of the house everywhere. In the evening you can help feed the goats and chickens. Here you have absolute peace, but be sure to think about mosquito spray.

Good atmosphere in the house. Dreamed us back to childhood. Quiet and peaceful. Was well taken care of by the host. Here we will probably come again.

Monica's home is Ivar, a wonderful nest overlooking the sea, a historic home full of charm, beauty, and love. The Airbnb apartment is located on the ground floor, spacious and bright and equipped with all the comforts: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, clothes dryer. Every detail is full of taste and the cleanliness is perfect, the bed and pillows are comfortable and we slept perfectly. The location is exceptional, a 5-10 minute drive to Alesund in a nice residential area. The view from the windows of the living room is beautiful and going outside and directly overlooks the sea viewpoint. Monica is a perfect host and an exquisite person, she and Ivar really made us feel at home with their kindness and passion for hospitality and the tips we received for visiting the area were valuable. Excellent communication. The best stay in our our long Norwegian vacation, don't miss the chance to stop here. P.S. Ivar's beer is super!
